Wrong name in the browser tab

I copied a form and started a new one but now that it is ready when I open it the browser tab still has the name of the original form. How can I update it?

The forms title can be changed in the Design Tab via
1) File > Form Setup... dialog
2) The "Form Setup" button

User profile services populate wronge name on the browser

i have an info path form with GetuserProfilebyName connection to populate user name automatically but it was given Error, Log ID: 5566, so this is what i did to solve this problem though is still not working.
1. i converted the connection to udcx file and saved in data connection library.
2. in centtral admin created an applicatin ID as secured store
3. set the credensal to sp_admin and set the target ID to group
4. i edited the udcx file at the data connection library to point to the application ID and Credential Type 'NTLM
5. at the controls, i set one control to querry data of the secondary data to AccountName
6. added other rules to populate username and email automatically.
at the end, if i preview the info path form it will work fine and pick the propruser but when i open the form in a browser it will populate the name/account name we set as the credential in the secored store.
please, what can i do for the form to pick the name of the logged on user when opened in a browser

Please try to create another web application that use classic authentication. Then create and use the UDC file use the web service provides from the classic web application in the form. Next is to publish the form and UDC file to CA and activate the form to
the web application that use claims authentication.

Is there a way to change what reads on the browser tab?

Hello,
I'm a bit of a noob at using Muse and right now i'm building interactive demo. One request from clients is to change what is displayed on the browser tab - they want tab to display demo name instead of the individual page names.
Is it possiblbe to do that with muse, or do i have to export HTML out of it and manually changing title tag?

Hello,
You can change the Page title by going into Page properties.
- Right Click on the page and click on page properties.
- Click on Metadata at the top in Page properties Window.
- Now uncheck the option "Same as Page Name" and put in the title under Page Title.

Can I customize the browser tab text - set to Project Title by default

I am using RH 7.03, generating WebHelp
I am creating branded Help and would like to customize the name that displays on the browser tab. It is set via the Project Title property in Project Settings. Can this be changed dynamically via an ssl?

To expound on what Colum offered, that setting will only have any effect under one of a couple of conditions.
You are working with Context Sensitive Help and are using Map IDs and the WebHelp API to establish the linking.
You are working with WebHelp or FlashHelp Pro output.
Aside from either of those conditions, the Window you were pointed to will be simply ignored.

How to get the name of the current tab.

Hi Experts,
I have two tabs in my tab strip and a button common to both the tabs.Can you please let me know how to get the name of the current tab in the event method of the push button.

1.Declare an Action for OnSelect event of Tabstrip. This event is triggered whenever any change in tab occurs.
2. Declare an Import Parameter in this method
   Tab type String.
3. This parameter has value of the selected TAB.
4. You can set this value in some Attribute in Attribute Tab in this event only (OnSelect):
     wd_this->Att = Tab.
Att is the attribute created by you in Attributes Tab of View. ( of type String)
5. Now the selected Tab ID is stored in this Attribute Att.
6. In the Onaction of Button , retrieve the selected tab value from this attribute using :
           Data : lv type string.
            lv = wd_this->Att
Now lv has your selected TAB ID.

Not to display the file name in the browser bar.

Is it possible not to display the file name in the browser bar?
Like say, when we write www.rediff.com, the index page name is not displayed.
Likewise is it possible for any other page too.
What I want is not to display any of the page name for the whole application.
Whichever page is requested the page name should not appear in the address bar of the browser.
How will I do that, what logics should I apply?

first, what does this have to do with Java?
second, no; in order to display something, the browser needs to know where it is. and if it knows, then a user can find out too. maybe you can make it not show up in an address bar sometimes, but that really achieves nothing

Hi buddy, I figured out what is wrong with that. I had the very same issue, while sending an sms via iMessage on Mountain Lion. I called the Apple guy at the Apple care support but without any luck.
At the end--at least in my case, but it could also be yours--I think I have understood what was going on. This happens when you have your Apple ID registered on more than one device. In my case, we have two iPhones--one for me and one for my wife--but with the same App Store account. So, when I sent an sms via iMessage for the Mac, the receiver was shown my wife's iPhone number.
I hope I have been clear enough, you know, explaining this in a foreing language is always painful...

You're gonna have to restore the iPhone from your last backup with iTunes. You did do a backup before you attempted to update the software didn't you?

but for some reason my home page browswer tab has defaulted to my hyperlink list

I have text near the top of the page with a warning about iweb issues but that isn't the type that's appearing in the browser window (nor would I want it to). And my hyperlinks (which have become the title for whatever reason) are at the bottom of the page.'

How can I capture and take screenshots of all the browser tabs and not only windows ?

This class identifies all minimized windows and take a snapshot (screenshot) of them. I want to take screenshots also of all the broswer for example chrome tabs windows that are open but not in the front. Same idea that it get now the minimized windows but

What i'm doing now is to get all the minimized windows i mean all the the windows in the back if it's chrome browser windows or open tabs if it's program games other windows. This is what i'm doing in form1 constructor:

The problem is in form1 constructor i'm getting only 23-24 windows in the listBox1. When i'm doing this two lines:

I see in numitems about 30 windows and after filtering i'm getting 20 windows and i checked that's the correct number of opened minmizied windows i have in this example 20.
Now what i want to do is somehow to get with all this windows in the listBox also all the opened tabs in chrome.
For exmaple i have only 4 opened chrome windows. But in one of the chrome windows i have almost 40 tabs opened !
I want somehow to add to the listBox all this opened tabs also as captured screenshots like i'm doing now with the windows.

So now i have 19 windows captured in the next refresh it will show 20.
My question is if there is any way to capture also all the chrome opened tabs in all the windows if any opened tabs are opened at all ? Now i'm getting only the chrome opened windows captured screenshot. But i want to get also the chrome tabs captured screenshots.

Firefox 6 doesn't ask me to save a session with mutiple tabs even that I've checked the * browser.tabs.warnOnClose, * browser.warnOnQuit and * browser.warnOnRestart. Thanks in advance

The option mentioned in the reply appears available but doesn't restored the session I needed at all. Now, I tried to close this session and Firefox warned me, just the way it used to. :|
Why it seems to be working normally again? Are there any options I should de/activate not to occur this once again. Some of the tabs I've lost ain't even in the browser history... Yes, I have to start using bookmarks.

Auto - shown field name in the issue tab - OTM

    If so, please just restore the changes.

Mac mail shows the wrong name in the inbox

Mac mail is showing the wrong name for one sender in the inbox. It is correct in the preview pane and when opened.
Is also correct on ipad and iphone. Only wrong in mac mail. This occurred when the person changed their name.
Have already deleted that user from the previous emailed contacts. Have started in Safe mode to clear caches.
System is a macbook air with Mavericks 10.9.4

I'd check with the senders whom you receive mail from to be sure they have your name correctly entered in the address book for whatever mail client they're using; I'm guessing the problem is on their end, since we've eliminated the possibilites on your end: Address Book and the Previous Recipients list. Those are the only two places Mail could draw that information from, unless it's in the original message sent to you, which you can confirm by opening a message, then choosing View > Raw Source. Look for the To: field and if the name doesn't match yours, then you know the problem is on the sender's end, in which case you should tell them to correct your name in their email address book.
Can I clear out the email account completely and start again.
You could, but that won't solve the problem. That name is coming from somewhere external to Mail (since Mail doesn't keep any such information), so it's just a matter of finding the source correcting it.

Firefox has stopped opening the browser tabs I set

I defined my home page as https://www.google.co.uk/|https:uk.yahoo.com/ Firefox no longer open on this but instead opens a new tab.
Can I correct this by resetting values in about:config. If so what values do I have to change?

I understand that you have two pages that open up as a homepage, however I am not sure if you have set it up to open two pages or just. Nonetheless I have provided the steps to change the homepage and the new tab via the about:config entry.
It sounds like a setting was changed on your new tab page. I understand that you would like to know how to change the home page back as well. Below are the instructions on how to change the new tab page if you need to change this as well.
# In the [[Location bar autocomplete|Location bar]], type '''about:config''' and press '''Enter'''. The "''This might void your warranty!''" warning page may appear.
# Click '''I'll be careful, I promise!''' to continue to the about:config page.
# Type '''browser.newtab.url''' in the search box to find it on the list.
# Double-click on '''browser.newtab.url''' and type in ''about:newtab'' in the window that pops up.
Restart Firefox and open a new tab to make sure the change was made. To change the homepage:search for browser.startup.homepage and doubleclick on the entry to enter the url.

Accidentally deleted my short name from the accounts tab. Now I go back and make changes.

I was trying to change the terminal name from nicholas-shook's-macbook-pro:~ nicholasshook$ to something shorter. I started by changing my computer name via System Pref >> Sharing, and tried to change my shortname via System Pref >> Accounts. I deleted the shortname after right-clicking my name on the left panel thinking that it would get rid of it in the terminal.
Now when I try to make changes to the Accounts tab it asks me to "type an administrator's name and password to allow System Preferences to make changes" instead of just asking for the password. I've tried nicholasshook and Nicholas Shook (what it shows up as when I come back to my computer after its been asleep).
Please help me get back to the shortname so I can not make it empty.
