Wrong Page coming up

We are occassionaly gettting a wrong document page even though the URL clearly indicates the document to be opened. This happens in Oracle Exchange framework when the page is invoked from Core Apps.
Anyone has any ideas on what could be the reason for such a problem?

I have uploaded my website and all is going well, except for the contact us page, where the name at the top of the browser window is some funny symbols.
The name on the browser window is the Title, which is normally determined by the topmost text box in the template you used. You probably deleted it, but not totally.
The funny symbols are because your server is (mis)configured to force all browsers to use the wrong encoding. If you want to fix that, see this note (server settings).

Creating a PDF from Word, endnote links jump to wrong page

I have a Word file with a large number of endnotes. In Acrobat 9.5.5 the endnote links jumped to the correct page. In Acrobat XI, which I just upgraded to, all endnotes jump to the wrong page. Somehow when converting the Word to PDF the calculation of what page to jump to is calculated incorrectly. Is this a known problem? I see other discussions on problems with endnotes but they are for different problems. How can I resolve this. I don't want to have to revert to Acrobat 9, but it worked.

Well I tried that. I set the printer driver to Adobe PDF. I then selected all text and hit F9 to refresh all links and saved the file and then went to the Acrobat tab to create the PDF version. Using the application and importing the file to create a PDF causes the same result. I can now see a pattern of what is happening. This has a large number of endnotes, 525. There are probably 30+ endnotes links per page. I noticed that all the endnotes links for the first page that has the links all point to the second page of endnotes in the endnote section (strange that it starts with the second page and not the first), then all the endnote links of the next page point to the third page of endnotes and it continues that way until the end.
Another way to describe this is that the first page of endnote links should point to endnote pages 1 through 4 but they all point to page 2.
I checked and all the links in the Work doc are linking correctly.
I wonder if version XI has been rewritten since version 9 and my case is too extreme for this version and it chokes. I'm trying to rebuild part of the file from scratch and see if the problem goes away since there is a lot of history to this file and it started at least at Word 2007. I'm using Word 2013 now and have converted the format to the 2013 level.
I've sent in a bug report but have not heard anything and talked to customer service over chat but they don't seem to care enough to pass this to development even though it's easily reproducible.

Printer prints off the wrong pages - HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 series

I have a HP Desket 3050 all-in-one J610 and I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I'm trying to print off some pages, first through google chrome and then through adobe reader, and the printer prints off the wrong pages. Eg, I told it to print of pages 41-64 odd only and I got all of the even pages. Now, if I try to print anything off, I get the odd page below and the settings are set to 'print all pages'. It was working fine a week ago and nothing's changed since then.
I tend to use fast draft paper quality as these are lectures notes and not particularly important, but I have tried the normal quality paper and it does the same thing.
Could anybody help?

Cant print PO - wrong page format

I have a smartforms to print PO.
I encounter this problem which some PO cant be print while some other PO can be printed.
Its quite confusing since only some cant be print.
Below is the message:
Form TXT_CONTACT has wrong page format.
Message no. SSFCOMPOSER026
Diagnosis
Form TXT_CONTACT has a different page format than the forms output previously but has been added to the same spool request.
System Response
Form TXT_CONTACT ist not processed.
Procedure
While forms are formatted (FM SSFCOMP_OPEN to FM SSFCOMP_CLOSE), the page format must not be changed. All forms within one spool request must have the same page format.
The first page format used, in this case paper format , is applicable to all subsequent forms.
Please guide me.

Check the NEXT page's PAGE FORMAT what is used in the smartform and make it the same as that of the FIRST page.
I believe the POs which are not being able to print do spill over into the next pages.

Smartform form {T_HEADER} has wrong page format

I have a header window that contains a table for column headings just above my main window. Somehow in the process of inserting a column and adjusting the size, I caused the following error to continue each time I attempt to print preview the form:
Form T_HEADER has wrong page format.
I have reviewed the details of the table to verify the width and the total of the line type column widths match. The header window that contains the table also has the same width. I am confused as to why I continue to get this error, but it is keeping me from testing any other changes to the form. I am stuck here.
P.S. I searched this forum for "form has wrong page format" and found one similar post that did not answer my issue.

hi Phillip,
the easiest thing is that you download your form and upload it here, so I got a chance to import it and have a look at exact the same dataset as you do. OF course, delete all the stuff you don't want to share and is unnecessary to fix this issue.
You can try one thing before, delete the table and create a new one with the same formats. Sometimes the compiler interpret it wrong because... I don't know why, but I realized that just delete helped

Safari and Firefox loading wrong pages since 10.6.5 update

I have an issue on two completely separate Macs since upgrading them to 10.6.5. After a few hours use, links within some web pages, in Safari or Firefox, will resolve to very random places. For example I click a news article link on the Yahoo home page, and it takes me repeatedly to a monster.com job listing page. Or if I am in Yahoo mail and I click Calendar, it takes me right back to yahoo mail and does not open the calendar page. Sometimes I can click a link in the bookmarks bar like the one for www.yahoo.com and it gives me a page not found error. Totally repeatable once this behaviour starts - if the wrong page load problem starts on any given link, it repeatedly goes to that wrong page every time that link is clicked. Tried using Firefox as well as Safari - same exact bugs occur there once this behavior starts. So its not just Safari!
If I run Cocktail and run the weekly script, the problem usually gets instantly fixed, for a little while, then it eventually comes back.
It appears that some cache, perhaps the whatis or lookup databases (since those get rebuilt in the weekly script), are getting corrupted in 10.6.5, such that browser links get resolved to the incorrect addresses.
Happens on my MacPro Quadcore i7 as well as a friends MacBook Pro 17, 2009 unibody. Both started showing this problem on both firefox AND safari after the 10.6.5 update. Have tried resetting Safari, rebooting, and using them on a different wireless network, to no avail.

Your printer should have a little window on the top for you to set the Language, Power Setting, Paper Size and Print Quality etc.

[TOC] Sub headers appearing above headers in wrong page number

Hi All,
I am pulling my hair out with this one, so need some help.
For some reason on my table of contents the sub headers are appearing above the header, but on the wrong page! Sometimes it will go back to normal, but If I edit the header text or change the area of the box it goes wrong again. It never did it before and has only just started to do it.
I've tried everything I can think of, but it's just so bizarre, they I need some help. As you can see it says the sub headers are on page 4 just like the header but places the sub headers under page 3 header!
I have attached screen of my table of contents and the screen of the contents on page. Please help!

Further to my initial post. If you see the image below, the table of contents works correctly if I pull the width of the header text box of the edge of the page. But if I pull the text box back in it breaks. This is the craziest thing I have experienced and so frustrating. It never did it before and has only just started doing it.

How to change a seq that has been used by a wrong page ?

Create a new sequence starting higher than your current value (+ cache + a bit for safety if you're busy/paranoid) and then re-point anything using the "wrong" sequence.
You can spend hours of fun trying to "tidy up" already used/allocated numbers but it is risky and IMHO completely pointless. What does it matter - they're just managed unique numbers after all.

Printing to PDF: prints the wrong page size and orientation

I am trying to print a simple 60 page document composed of 8 x 11 inch pages to a pdf. I want the pdf in spreads, so that 2 8x11 inch pages in portrait orientation will be next to each other as a spread. Each time I try to print, the pdf comes out in the wrong orientation or the wrong size or both. When I export it to a pdf, it is the right orientation and page size, but the file size is way too large. So how do I fix this annoying problem? I have tried adjusting the print setup but it still won't print right. This seems like a simple operation, but indesign has been giving me trouble with this for weeks. I should mention I'm using CC. Thank you.

Go to the AdminUI ( http://<servername>:<port>/adminui ), and to Services, PDF Generator. Pick File Type Settings, and click on the Standard entry. If you pop open the HTML to PDF section, you can edit the size, margins, orientation, headings and footers, site recursion, and pdf initial view settings. Save your settings as a new Filetype (you can make as many as you want), and pass the name the filetype as the second parameter to the call to the htmlToPDF method on the web service client. http://livedocs.adobe.com/livecycle/es/sdkHelp/programmer/javadoc/com/adobe/livecycle/g eneratepdf/client/GeneratePdfServiceClient.html I am unfamiliar with interacting directly with the web services via SOAP, so if you are not using the pre-built GeneratePdfServiceClient supplied by Adobe and this information does not solve your issue you will need to see if anybody else can help. I imagine that there is a similar String parameter where you place the Filetype name defined in the AdminUI. (edit: I should mention, the GeneratePdf service is a part of PDF Generator ES, not Output ES, so you may have better luck in the general Livecycle ES forum)

Wrong page numer (1) when the numer of printed page is 2 using group

I use crystal XI to print a document (facture) from a program.
When the number of printed lines (details) is the max number is possible to print , the number of page (PageNumber) is wrong because the printed page is 2 (the second page is only a line of notes inserted in a group section).
For the sotfware society of the program the problem is the printer driver but i have tested with more then one driver and the error is the same.
what's the problem?

If the page number is in the page header, and the page header prints on each page, then I cant see what the problem is.
Perhaps it is a printer error. Try a different printer and see if it happens.
If a different printer is the same, try putting the page number in different areas of your report.
If still no change, create a new test report and see if it happens there.

PDF renders the wrong page numbers

Have been trying to convert some word documents to PDF.. The page number in the word is in the format "Page 1 of N, Page 2 of N..... Page N of N".. but after conversion the PDF shows the page number as Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2, Page 3 of 3...... Page N of N. Is this a problem with the page number formatting in word or is it something wrong with the PDF convertor? Plz help... this is driving me crazy...

If so, whatever information is in the file should be converted precisely into the PDF; if you're using Adobe Acrobat desktop software, I'm afraid you're in the wrong forum.
