Wrong path written in the 'About' window...

Hi,
I have noticed that in all custom forms, although i followed the steps written in some metalink notes regarding the development of custom forms and the integration of the EBS system, the whole path is something like that...(in the 'About' running form Window):
<$FND_TOP/forms/US/<filename>.fmx>
instead of
<$XX_CUSTOM_TOP/forms/US/<filename>.fmx>.
Of cource searching for the forms in the $FND_TOP/forms/US dir they do not exist there...!!!
In all the system forms (gl,inv etc) the full path referred in the 'About' running form Window are what expected....
<$PRODUCT_TOP/forms/US/<filename.fmx>>
I wonder if this is some kind of bug... or what else might be...????
Note: I use EBS v.11.5.10
Thank you,
Sim

The custom executable forms exist only in the $XX_CUSTOM_TOP/forms/US/ and $XX_CUSTOM_TOP/forms/EL/ dirs and not in $APPL_TOP/forms/US/ or $APPL_TOP/forms/EL/. In the two last referred dirs only the source files exist....as they should...
Thank you,
Sim

The easiest way to do what you're wanting is to create an rtf file named "Credits.rtf". You can use TextEdit to create the file. Format the text in the rtf file the way you'd like, save it to your project folder. Then in Xcode add the file to the Resources group of your project and make sure it's also added to your target.
The contents of your Credits.rtf file (or Credits.html, or Credits.rtfd) will be automatically displayed in the standard about box.
Tech. Note TN2179 contains more details as well as other ways to customize your about box.

Please help!  Thanks in advance for any assistance!!!

Check the Recently Deleted album. Deleted photos will reside there for up to 30 days. This allows all those people who accidently delete photos to recover them, something they couldn't do before. To actually free up the space you might have to delete the photos in the Recently Deleted album.

  • I am runing FF 11. When I go to the about window, it downloaded a patch. How do I know to what version the patch will take me?

I am running windows XP-SP2. I just don't want FF11 to upgrade to FF12 as I already have that installed in a different directory. I need to be able to have the two installed side by side (but not necessarily at the same time).

hello, the update will bring you to the latest release version (=firefox 12 atm).
in the past i found it practical to use a portableapps-version when i needed to run different versions beside my main installation. those can be extracted into a single folder & they have a different profile folder, so changes (like switching off auto-update in tools > options > advanced > update) can be made without affecting the installed version.

  • Wrong apple ID on the login window when trying to update a purchased app

I can't update my purchased app even the free app as well. When I tap on the update button, it shows the apple ID as "[email protected]" on the login box. But that one is not my apple Id. This happening the app I bought from AppStore. I have already reseted my password then I did sign out and sign in restarting my iPad. Please give a solution.

    Nice ID ....
Have you tried siginng into your won account in Settings>Store - you can sign out of Mr. Jobs account there and sign in with your own. You can also do this in the featured tab of the App Store in the bottom left corner of the screen.

  • Customizing the "about Application" window

I know that the version number can be changed for the "About" window for an application by using the info.plist, but is there anything else I can do to it? or do I have to make my own custom about window?
    Thanks

Sorry, I have no idea what "wrong path" you are talking about?  An error message during the update?  How are you updating?
Maybe and uninstall (using http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html) and reinstall will fix the problem?

  • Security scanning - question about Windows service

    Hello,
As part of our internal security requirements all new servers are being scanned by a Nessus engine before being released to production.  My two new Lync FE servers have been tagged with having a high-level vulnerability.  See below.  It calls
out the Windows Identity Foundation service as having an 'unquoted service path' in the registry.
Before I comply with trying to 'fix' this 'vulnerability', I was wondering if anyone else runs similar internal security...and if so, have you successfully 'fixed' something like this.  I'm a little reluctant to go mucking about in the registry to modify
this 'service path' to include quotes.
Thanks in advance for any advice/replies.  vulnerability data below:

    Description
The remote Windows host has at least one service installed that uses an unquoted service path, which contains at least one whitespace. A local attacker could gain elevated

    Hi,
Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums.
This can be a false alarm from the Nessus product. We can reinstall WIF 3.5 to see if the issue can be fixed. We can also try contacting the manufacturer/support of the Nessus product regarding this issue.

  • "About" Window for Plug In in OS X

    Hello,
I can edit the text inside the "About" Window for Plug In's in Photoshop under Windows.
I was wondering, how can I have an "About" window for plug in's in OS X?
Is there any sample code with working "About" window in OS X which I can edit its text?
    Thank You.

Here is what Dissolve on mac does: See samplecode\filter\dissolve\mac\DissolveUIMacCocoa.cpp
    // DoAbout
// Pop a simple about box for this plug in.
// NOTE: The global gFilterRecord is NOT a FilterRecord*. You must cast it to
    // an AboutRecord*. See PIAbout.h
    void DoAbout(void)
      NSLog(@"DoAbout is: %d\n",AboutID);

  • Disc mode.  Misleading info in iPod Settings About window

Hi, I have just bought and used the new iPod 80Gb. Computer is PowerBook G4 1.67 with Mac OS X 10.4.8. As well as the reported ERROR (-48) I have noticed that the Settings>About window on the iPod shows only the space taken up by my iTunes music library (3Gb at present). There is however another 40Gb taken up in disc mode by my Pictures folder which I copied from the Mac HD to the iPod. I would expect this to be reflected in reduced storage space in the About window.
Any reason for this? I am also hoping Apple will fix the (-48) error as it is really annoying on a brand new piece of expensive hardware and I am reluctant to apply my own fixes. Firmware is 1.2.1 - the latest. Once it is all fixed it will be awesome to be able to listen to so much music AND store so much back-up of other files.

hello Alxlight, the text in the about-dialog is static and should just inform users about the default configuration in the experimental aurora/nightly channels of firefox. when you decide to disable the various settings in ''options > advanced > data choices'' this data won't be submitted to mozilla, despite what the about-dialog says...

I have what I consider the best smart phone.  I recently upgraded my PC from Windows Vista to Windows 8 and my Itunes went away.  Did I do something wrong or aren't the two compatible?

If the update did not preserve all your Applications you may simply have to download iTunes again and instrall it on Windows 8.
There's nothing strange about an update not preserving installed Applications.

  • "File Dialog" Express VI returns the wrong path when the user selects the desktop

    In labview 8.0.1 with Windows
XP, the File Dialog Express VI seems to return something other than the path
selected by the user when configured to browse for folders (or files and
folders) and the user selects the desktop.
I can't determine exactly when it works and when it fails, but it always seems
to fail if the user selects the desktop from the places bar (the shortcuts on
the left side of the dialog) or from the drop-down menu at the top of the
dialog and then clicks the "Current Folder" button to dismiss the
dialog.  In this case it always returns whatever path is wired to the
    "Start Path" terminal.
If the user navigates to the desktop with the "Up One Level" button
or by selecting the actual desktop directory under Documents and Settings, the
    correct path is returned.
If the user selects a file before clicking the desktop icon, then clicks
"Current Folder" the correct path is returned.
If the user clicks the desktop icon, clicks open, then clicks "Current
Folder" the correct path is returned.
It's possible to work around this bug in most cases by setting the start path
    to the desktop.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?
Can anybody verify this behavior by running the attached VI?
In the past, when I've reported issues like this I've received responses from
NI engineers that basically said "Thanks, but we already knew
that".  Is there anywhere that users can search the list of known
bugs and avoid wasting time tracking down issues that are already understood by
    NI?
    Thanks,
    Adam Brewster

I'm on 8.2 and I can't get it to fail no matter how I select the desktop. I haven't tried it in 8.0, but I imagine that if this really is a bug, they did know about it and fixed it with 8.2. If this causes a real problem for you, I would suggest upgrading if you can.

    Hi Jo,
If I'm interpreting this correctly, the Word file downloads correctly, but when you open it in Pages, the link(s) which your instructor has embedded in the Word file are not correctly translated into Pages.
If the link shows the actual address, you should be able to copy that and paste it into the location bar in Safari, press return, and get to the website that way.
An alternate route might be to download one of the open source Office applications, OpenOffice.org, LibreOffice, or NeoOffice. These are written to more closely emulate the behaviours of MS Word than Pages, and may provide better support for links embedded in Word files.

My ipad had been frozzen my daughter puts the passwords wrong more than 3 times ,And its written on the screem connect to itunes .What shall I do please?Thank you.

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
    Instructions can be found here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
You may need to restore using Recovery Mode. You can read about it here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4097
    Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
    Use iTunes to restore iPad.
