Wrong PSN account linked, cannot unlink and cannot find a real solution
I am having a seemingly common issue that appears to have no real solution. I had previously linked my account to my PS3 but when I sold my PS3 to get a PS4 I did not disconnect it because usually when you sign up and pay money for an online service, you assume that you will be able to use it anywhere. The PS3 is now formatted and somewhere with gamestop so there is no way to access it to disconnect. There is no way to do it from Spotify.com (which I can't really figure out how that makes sense), customer support at playstation does not even understand what the problem is, and spotify has no phone number to call which is rediculous, I know. The only way to get help from spotify is from the "contact form" which is no help. Does anyone know how to get this fixed or how to get a response out of spotify to bring this issue to attention to them?

I deeply apologize for my previous post. I gained the knowledge from previous experience using my PS3 and Spotify account. After doing more research, I know what to do! If you formatted your PS3, don't worry about that PS3 as it no longer has access to your PlayStation account which is linked to your Spotify account. What needs to happen is if you haven't already, just contact Spotify directly through the online contact form saying you would like your account disconnected from all third party applications. They'll be able to sign you out of every connected application. I looked around and at this time, the developers don't allow users to manually disconnect. If you have already contact Spotify through the contact form, let me know the 8-digit case number and I'll make sure it gets to the right team!

Do a Spotlight search. If you see it there, then it is probably hidden. Connect to iTunes and you should find it in a hidden screen--like 10 or 11. Just drag it back to a visible screen.

I am confused. I cannot get Gmail because an error message says the password or id id wrong. Also, I cannot find my iphone id.

When you set a Gmail account you just need to enter your email account and password. It is impossible you enter the right information but it says "wrong". Double check it.
If you mentioned "iPhone ID" as your Apple ID, you can find it going to Settings>> iCloud. Check if you already sign in to. If not, sign in with your Apple ID and password. If you haven't created one, you can do it there.

I am trying to run a testcase on a Solaris 64 bit machine using a 64 bit Forte 6u1 compiler. This testcase runs grand when run on a 32 bit machine, but when it tries to link on the 64 bit machine, the following error comes up;
ld: fatal: library -lcx: not found
I understand that libcx is a 32 bit library and that there is not 64 bit equivalent for it and that libc should be used instead. My problem is that I cant find where libcx is being referenced. I have looked through all the flags in the relevant makefile and the chain of relevant makefiles that are included but cannot find anywhere what this library is referenced. The link line that fails is:

sainttoffFD6u1 is obsolete and no longer supported. You should update to Sun Studio 11, which is free. You can get it here:

As long as you don't need to run on versions of Solaris older than Solaris 8, there is no reason to continue using that old product.
You cannot mix 32-bit and 64-bit binaries in the same program. You can compile and link a 32-bit program and run it on a 64-bit Solaris kernel, but you can't link it to the 64-bit libraries on Solaris.
When compiling or linking a 64-bit binary on SPARC Solaris, use the option -xarch=v9 (or v9plusa or v9plusb). This option causes the CC driver to generate 64-bit code and link 64-bit libraries.
You are attempting to link 64-bit libraries by the use of -L options, which will not work. Never use -L options that point into the compiler installation area or into /usr/lib. If you think you need to use such options, it is because you are doing something else wrong. In this case, omitting -xarch=v9 is the "something else".
When you use a correct command line to link 64-bit objects, you will find there is no longer a reference to libcx. BTW, libcx is obsolete, and current compilers to not generate references to it. -
I have an icloud account linked to an email address that is no longer in service. I do not have the password for the account and am trying to retrieve the songs and data from the cloud to use on new apple device. So, without going into great details that cannot reasonably be explained, the scenario goes a little like this:
When editing a PDF, and with nothing else open on the computer, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI tends to "hang up" and become unresponsive. The only plausible solution is to force command and restart Acrobat in hopes it will open correctly the next time. Sometimes this works, other times - nope .. Does not resolve the problem. So - can anyone recommend a solution? I have contacted help and they had to to delete a Adobe Preference file, and this seemed to work while I still had them on live chat. Once offline, it happened again.
Here is the really weird thing, I thought that I fixed the issue (as I am doing this for my boss on his Macbook Pro) and was able to quickly edit a PDF .. but when I handed the computer over to him - literally in only 2 minutes - he proceeded to edit the same document and was not able to. He got the never ending rotating circle of death
So - that is problem #1
Problem #2 is with the inability my boss has to use CC offline. I have personally reconnected to our CC account and verified all settings, and when I perform my tests at the office, everything seems fine and all programs work as should. However, he is now on business travel and says the "Trial Expired" keeps popping up. What is going on? This is literally frustrating him and me with what little knowledge I can assist with resolving the trial expired issue. How many days can you be offline with CC? Tech support says up to 99 days .. Clearly 4 days is ridiculous and I am not able to duplicate the scenario when I have his computer but what would it work for me and not him?
I just need to resolve this whole Adobe Acrobat issue as to finally get it resolved and fixed once and for all.
BTW, called in outside computer help from a local company - and the computer guy was working to get it fixed, but it seems even with live chat or phone support - it has now been escalated to Tech Support 2 .. This make any sense or logic? I believe he has uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat and now it is only creating more issues. I think he tried to install a trial version and activate the subscription but it failed.
Any HELP? We are desperate and I'll even pay via PayPal to get a resolution to this problem if any recommendation leads to a solid solution. Guaranteed !!Actually I also noticed that usual heat with wifi and game play.. However this was extreme heat. I wasn't able to hold it for long time and had to drop it.
So can that bulge can be ignored and should I start using it back again. Though that bulge appeared after that heating issue.
Beside the hardware, safety would be my bigger concern. Perhaps because I have heard few incidents with mobile phones where battery generated heat and caused some defect in bodies and continued use resulted in a blast in battery causing physical harm.
So if its advised to try it by charging 100% and monitoring backup time or any other advise. -
Account linking to configurator and other admin accounts
When doing an activeSync, load-from-resource, or reconciliation, IDM likes to link resource accounts to existing users.
What is there to prevent a malicious person from creating an account called "configurator" on a resource and having it linked to the real "configurator"? If pass-through authentication is enabled, they could then get complete access.
Is this an issue, or am I missing something?See this Apple support topic.

I am using Sage Instant Accounts and need to email customers their invoices directly. I have recently changed computer and upgraded Sage and I can no longer do this although could do it last week. I used to be able to go into email in Sage and Firefox would automatically come up with my contacts etc.
I think Sage looks to Outlook Express. If I delete Outlook Exp will that be an answer?
Have phoned Sage but they have no further answers. So need help as spent too much time!I use Outlook so this might not be quite the same with Outlook Express.
After I set up an email account I can 'Test' the account settings which effectively sends a test email from the account to itself. If that is possible then check which way works i.e. the sending or the receiving of the email. If it is just the incoming part then this could be that you need to tick the box in the account settings that says 'My outgoing server requires authentication'.
Other than that check your incoming and outgoing servers which, if you're using btinternet should be both set as mail.btinternet.com, I also suggest you check your username and password.

The abstract says it all. I close the cover of my MacBook and when I reopen it - the computer fails to attempt to connect to the last known wifi hotspot I was connected to or search for a known connection. I have to manually connect wifi to my home computer since upgrading at some point in the 10.7.x releases. The problem is described in the support for the iMac as having been resolved successfully, but I am interest in knowing if anyone else has seen and resolved this problem on a MacBook?
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
You could also try a Restore if the reset doesn't work.
You may have defective batteries. Were these purchased new? -

Any help is welcomeStill struggling to understand why copying the entire root dir to a disk image and then restoring from that image did not, as expected, yield an identical system, and why I even had to reinstall after doing this.
Because there is a lot more going on under the hood than merely copying files.
The only way to do what you want is to use cloning software like Carbon Copy Cloner.
My advice is to rescue your personal files to a regular non-TimeMachine external drive, Zero erase the ENTIRE drive and install OS X fresh and update, then your programs from original sources and files from backup.
Then, make a bootable clone and you can copy that as many times as you want and each one is bootable.
