Wrong sms receiving time problem in nokia 2690

I recently bought a nokia 2690. I have change the time and date of the phone but whenever I receive a new text message the time is delayed or different. Can anyone help me please

I don't think there is any other setting like setting the time zone in your phone.. so nothing more... By the way is the time difference/delay remaining constant for all the nessages or changing ? and if constant by how much minutes ?

SMS receiving time problem

I just bought an IPhone 4. I am from India. There is one issue that all the sms's received display the time of receipt 4.5 hrs behind the correct time. I have worked around with the time zones etc and all seem to be fine. Kindly advice.

Asha 302 shows SMS received time, not sent

Hi, my 302 always shows the time an SMS was received, not sent. This makes it difficult when I have to turn my phone off, as when I then turn it back on, the messages come through as the time the phone was turned back on, not the time the message was actually sent. Is there any way to fix this? The date & time settings are all fine, and my service network is set to auto update, but still doesn't fix the issue.

Nokia X3-02 wrong SMS Date

Hi All!
When I receive an SMS, the display show the date of receive it on my phone and not the date send of the sms. This appen when I turn on the phone. Is a very issue and bug.
Did you have the same problem?
In the future can Nokia correct this bug on next software update?

BTW ... On my Nokia 5800xm it shows the time at which the SMS was received whereas on Nokia X3-00 it shows the time at which the SMS was sent...

Hi.. got some problems with my nokia 3120 classic. I bought my fone 2 wks ago and decide to upgrade my fone to new firmware version which is 7.16, after the fone was updated i noticed that whenever i received txt messages, the received time is wrong.. it is i think 8 hrs late.. I'm txting my friends and when they reply, the received time display is wrong. Is this a bug for the new version? It's not synchronizing in my phone clock. Of course my phone clock is ok.. Message sent time is ok but the received time is wrong. Any suggestions? Pls help..

ok.. i've figured out already the problem. it's not on the software update but it is due to the GMT. i noticed that even your dates and time are correct, you must set your correct timezone from what country you were. if the auto update time and date is on, i think it varies on the timezone u set on ur fone so if your timezone is wrong, the message receive time is wrong too. well i already solved this.

E50 receiving-time of sms

I recently changed from another Nokia phone to the E50. Previously, the receiving time of messages shown was always the real time of sending, even when my phone was shut off or standby. Now, on the E50, the time shown is the recent time of turning on the phone. I don´t know if understand well the problem. But could be a different time zone on that phone or the backup battery with problems. The first one, you can change that on Tools - Settings, the second one, the phone must go to a Nokia Service.

Hi, i´m having a problem with web sms receiving. I receive sms from another cellphones but i cant receive the web sms. Is there a fix for this?
I have a lot of services that send me web sms, like internet banking and others, so i cant use my services because my iphone cant receive this sms from web.

Nokia 2690 streaming problems

Initially, my nokia 2690 was able to stream all of videos on youtube and other websites. But a few days earlier, it has started giving an error message "File format not supported" for almost all videos while streaming. I don't think that there might ad something wrong with the streaming settings as it still streams few of the videos from the internet. I use built in opera mini browser that takes of directly to the built in music player for streaming. My phone software version is 10.10. Please help.

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device, via checking via Nokia Suite on your PC? if there are any updates, please update to the latest version offered. Failign that, you can try Restoring your phone to factory settings.
If that doesn't work either, then i would also check that you still have the correct network carrier settings, and data plan settings, and that your data plan with your network carrier is still activated. Also check the condition of your SIM card as that may be an issue.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If it's reached the point where you can't try re-entering the code then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.

for proper audio and video playback, it might be required to convert the videos to phone supported format.

Sms arriving time

Hi.
I'm an Italian guy and I've got Nokia C7. Since I had it i found a problem in sms arriving time and I'd like to know if it is just a problem of mine or if everyone have it.
I'll try to explain: if i shut down my phone or if it hasn't connectivity and someone send me an sms, when i get it i can't know when it was sent, but just when it arrived. Can i solve this trouble?

The phone always reports for received SMS when it was actually received on the phone. Not the time/date when it was sent and stored at the network operator (if it cannot be delived to the phone due to, for example, the phone being off). In a way, this is correct; you didn't receive the message while the phone was off, but only when you turned it on, so the time/date is correct as far as it being the receipt time/date is concerned.
There is nothing you can do to change this behaviour, but Nokia would have to change the phone software (in a firmware update) to show both timestamps, or instead of the actual receipt time/date, show the sent time/date.
As far as I recall, all Nokia phones have behaved like this always (allthough, I haven't checked if the Windows Phone models do it this way, too, or not), so Nokia seems to think this is the "right" way.

When you switch on your device for the first time, the access points may be configured automatically based on the service provider information in your SIM card. Otherwise contact your operator or service provider to receive the access point settings if you cannot find it..

Message sent time problem

i have message sent time problem on my N73
the time is not correct in my message detail whenever i try to check it,note that it is message SENT time not RECEIVE time.however,other phones operate correctly even other brands of nokia like 1110.
please help me how can i get the correct time ?
moreover i iam in iran and set my time for iran

It's a bug that every N73 owners have.
Don't know why they didn't fix this until now, perhaps the didn't noticed this bug yet.
