Wrong TYPES definition?

Hi experts,
For my selection I define a internal table
This works:
DATA: it_lab_data  TYPE TABLE OF zmm_lab_offen,
     wa_lab_data  TYPE zmm_lab_offen.
If I select something I can see the table is filled.
Now, for my selection I need a temporary field more than my transparent table (zmm_lab_offen) has. So I tried to define a new TYPE including this table.
TYPES: BEGIN OF s_lab_data,
         struk TYPE zmm_lab_struktur,
         loekz TYPE boolean,
       END OF s_lab_data.
TYPES: tt_lab_data TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF s_lab_data WITH DEFAULT KEY.
DATA: it_lab_data TYPE tt_lab_data.
SELECT *
FROM  'inner join over 3 tables'
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_lab_data
WHERE ...
But this doesn't work. The Selection even imports 1600 rows but all fields are empty or has the value '0'!
What am I doing wrong??? I 've got the TYPES definition by the "ABAP Objects" book...
Regards,
Steffen

can't be used in OO context --> generates an error
In the keywordmanual it is recommend to use
DATA: BEGIN OF rec,
        rec LIKE s,
      END OF rec.
instead of
DATA: BEGIN OF rec,
        INCLUDE STRUCTURE s.
DATA:   ...
      END OF rec.
but this also don't work for me. LIKE and STRUCTURE cannot be used in methods. I have to use TYPE...

  • What's wrong with this content type definition?

Could someone tell me what's wrong with this content type definition? When I click "New Folder" in a custom list, it should bring two fields 1) Name 2) Custom Order. However in my case when I click new folder, I see 1) Member (which is totally
weird) 2) custom order. Where is it getting that Member field from?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you had an issue about the custom content type with custom column.
I don’t think there is any issue in the content type definition, and it also worked well in my environment.
Did you have the Member field in the project?
I recommend you create a simple project only with one custom Order column and one custom Folder_OrderColumn, then you can add more fields one by one.
By doing this, it will be easier to find out the root cause of this error.
    Thanks,
    Jason

  • Type definitions w/ embedded attributes

I am hoping you can help me resolve a problem in creating valid type definitions
with embedded attributes. I've followed the vcard example from the Dev Guide; yet there is something that I am missing. I've have not included </BEANCLASSPATH> in the type definitions, as they were described as optional. If the addition of </BEANCLASSPATH> is necessary,do I need to create beans for each embedded structure within the parent? Following are the errant type definitions and their respective error codes returned from the parser:

Thanks for the suggestion. I initially didnt have the RETURN TRUE after every IF statement and have since removed the 'WHEN OTHERS' section but I'm still getting the same error message. If its to be believed, doesn't it sound like its not finding any of the 3 possible parameter entries available? This can't be so, I've checked the ConC Program parameter name is correct, and the value set linked to it only has available the 3 options where I make the choice..

  • Receiving an export file error: wrong type

I have created a movie several times in FCP and then exported the movie to QT without any problems. Now all of a sudden, I can't get the movie to export correctly. After the 2 hour export, I'll check on FCP to find that the program has shut down without an "Unexpected Shut Down" message. I check for the exported movie which I find in the saved folder. I click to open and verify the completed job, but find that I get an error instead : "Error: Wrong Type".
The last successful movie I created was September 14th, prior to the QT 7.5.5 upgrade. I thought it was the upgrade, as I found out that FCP does not do well with the new QT version, so I reverted to QT 7.5, but I am still experiencing the same problem with FCP quitting and the movie not being able to read.
What is going on? Can anyone help?

    Francois:
This is a crazy solution, but this happened to me last week and this solution enabled me to open my files again -- they were all greyed out and I thought I'd lost them. I took my drive in to an Apple Store Genius Bar without resolution and spend 2 hours online with ProApps (FCE/FCP) tech support, also with no resolution.
This fix is based on the fact that FCP when it is started, it automatically opens the project that was open when it was closed. First, in FCP save the current project (this can be any project -- I created a placeholder project -- to a dummy name -- I used "save me". Close FCP and delete the dummy name ("save me") project. Now rename the project that is greyed out and provides the File Error: Wrong Type message that you would like to open to the dummy name, so that it's now called "save me". Now open FCP again. Now save the recuperated file using the original name.

  • Elements 9 saved file "cannot open because it is the wrong type of file"

I have Windows XP.  I just purchased Photoshop Elements 9.
I open a raw, tiff or jpg image in Elements 9, make changes to it and then save it as a tiff or jpg.
About a third of the time the icon for the saved image appears as a file and not a thumbnail of the image in my saved folder.
When I try to re-open it in Elements 9 I get the message "Cannot open because it is the wrong type of file"
I never had this problem with Elements 7.
    Please help!
    Mike

Every camera model has its own raw format, and Adobe can't update the camera raw plug-in until it gets the information from the manufacturer, and the process takes a while. You shouldn't have to wait more than a couple of months for this. In the meantime you can use the manufacturer's software, or try downloading the latest DNG converter to see if it can make DNG files from your camera that will work in ACR.
Incidentally, you're not talking to adobe here, just to other users like yourself.
The standlalone DNG converter download is here:
    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
Just pick the DNG Converter  for your platform from the pulldown menu.

I just got the new Panesonic Lumix DMC-G3 and took some pictures with it today and found that Photoshop Elements couldn't open the pictures because they were the "wrong type of file".  Now the file format is a  Raw .RW2 and I have opened many of them before in the past and they have been just fine! I think it may be that Photoshop isn't updated yet, because I checked and I had no new updates but do any of you have any ideas as to how I could fix this?! (Besides switching to JPEG)
ADOBE IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE SO YOUR CONSUMERS CAN OPEN THE LUMIX DMC-G3'S RAW FILES! THANK YOU!

RMAN-06136: ORACLE error from auxiliary database: ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
ORA-30012: undo tablespace 'UNDOTBS' does not exist or of wrong type
    Process ID: 44040326
Session ID: 65 Serial number: 3
Error is because in target database undo tablespace is UNDOTBS_NEW and in auxiliary database undo tablespace name in init file is UNDOTBS. I followed the meatlink doc 433992.1 which suggest following steps to recover from above error:
    1) edit the parameter UNDO_MANAGEMENT to "MANUAL"
    2) start database again
    3) drop the UNDO tablespace
    4) recreate UNDO tablespace which matches to name in init file.
    5) shutdown & start DB again.
Now, i edited init file and tried to start DB and got following error:

  • Can't open RAW or CR2 files anymore, Get message "Wrong type of file" HELP PLEASE

As a photographer I shoot in RAW or CR2 an di have used my photoshop elements to tweak my pictures for hte last year but now my program says "Wrong type of file"...nothing has changed, so why can't I open these any more? Anyone? please help
    Thanks
    Rob

What camera model and what version of the raw plug-in are you using with Elements?
It is possible the pictures are corrupted and cannot be read.  You can try opening them in the Canon DPP software that should have come with your camera and try exporting as a JPG from inside there and see if it also reports a bad file.   Or you can post a public download link for one of your files, here, and others can try the files in their Photoshop or Lightroom and see if they work or not.

  • Dynamic Variable In a Type Definition

Can someone tell me how to define and use a dynamic variable, which resides in a Type Definition.  I.E...
    Type: beg of type1,
            field 1 type c,
            field 2 <---this dynamic
            field 3 type c.
          end of type1.
Can this be done in Netweaver 2004.  And if so, can you show me how?
    Thanks for your time.
    Kind Regards,
    Jason

Don't think it is available now, but I do believe they are working on this for a future release.

  • Bind FPGA host reference to type definition in labVIEW 2012 crashes labVIEW

    Hi,
I am using FPGA target device 5641R and labview FPGA 2012 with 5640R ver 1.7.
On the configure window of open FPGA VI reference function, choosing the dynmaic mode shows broken arrow when wired to the 5640R configuration VIs (i.e. Configure timebase, Configure ADC default, Configure ADC NCO functions). So i tried the other option which is binding the FPGA host reference to type definition and choose the control from path C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\instr.lib\ni5640R\Configuration\NI-5640R VIs\ni5640R FPGA VI Reference.ctl. But after that when i try to save the VI on which open FPGA VI reference function is placed, labVIEW crashes. I am unable to figure out the reason. Earlier I was working with labVIEW 2011 and it was working fine there. Any suggestions would be highly appretiated.
Please see the attached images for more details.
    Thanks

Check out this thread.  It looks like someone else ran into a similar issue and made changes that fixed their application.

  • Passing a reference to a type definition to a SubVI

I have created a type definition that I would like to use across my application. This particular type definition is also the front panel control to my top level VI. I wanted to pass a reference to this control to my SubVi's so that they could dereference as needed and in very rare cases update the values on the front panel. However, as I built the application I noticed that I was breaking the control reference as I updated the type definition. This implies that they type of the reference changes as I change the type definition.
How do I go about building the reference I need or is there some other way to do this that works just as well. Even if I can't make a reference to the control that is tied to the type definition, I'm willing to pass in a variant who can house the reference as long as I can build the data type (the reference) inside my SubVis.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Okay, so I tried all three approaches in a SubVI, here's what happened.
My approach was simply to create a Type Def control, right-click and create a Reference. Then create a control from that reference by right-clicking the output of the reference and selecting the Create Control option. I then pasted this 'cluster' reference into my SubVi, made it an input and then wired up the reference in the parent to the control in the SubVi.
Result: This breaks when you update the Type Definition.
Next, Ben's approach (or my best effort at doing what he suggested). I created a control from reference to the type def. I cut it from the parent VI and pasted it into a new type def. I then put the type def in the SubVI and set it as an input.
Result: This breaks when you update the Type Definition (but it actually takes a bit longer for the error to propogate).
Finally, Christian's solution (or my best effort). I took the type def reference and put it through a To More Generic Class guy, casting it to a Control Refnum. I put a Control Refnum on the front panel of my SubVI and wired it to a To More Specific Class guy. I created a control of the type def in the subvi, hid it, and created a reference. I wired the reference to the more specific guy and verified I was getting the right data.
    Result: It works!
It's possible I just didn't understand how to make the reference type def you were referring to Ben. I would prefer a method with less verbage. I pass this refnum into a class which holds it. Since I can't replicate the type exactly prior to run time (i.e. create a control that is exactly a reference to the type definition of my front panel), I have to save the reference as a Control Refnum and cast it every time I need it (i.e. create a control from the typedef, create a reference frome the type def, etc). More verbage than optimal, but still good!
    Thanks for the help.

  • How to include structure in Types Definition ???

    Hello All,
I want a declaration like this in BSP :-
DATA : BEGIN OF imkop OCCURS 100.

    I wrote like this :-
    Types : BEGIN OF imkop.
                    INCLUDE STRUCTURE mkop.
    Types :   waers type mepro-waers.
    Types : END OF imkop.
I'm getting an error saying that I can't use structures in this .
Now what should I do ?
Can anyone help me out ?

  • Trying to open Camera Raw results in 'wrong type of document' error

I had to do a recovery yesterday, and luckily had everything backed up.  So....All seems well now,  but when I loaded some photos from my camera and tried to open the CR image, I got that message.  Cannot open because it is the wrong type of document.  Grrrrrrrr.....  I'm running windows xp and cs3.

Open Photoshop/help/about plug-in/camera raw.  You should have one and only one copy listed.
It is really not in the plug-in folder for other functions.  It should be in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats.  It there it should be a plug-in icon that says camera raw.8bi.
    What does your system say?
