Wrong URL in automatic generated subscription Email???

Hi,
if i receive an automatically generated Email from the Portal (subscription news) i can not open the URL which was send by the Email. My problem is that the included URL contains always the portnumber and works not with SSL (htts). For example i get the URL: http://company:50200/..... instead of the URL: http<b>s</b>://company/... . How can i change the configuration in order to get the right URL?
regards,
Sharam

  • Wrong URL on Notification emails

    Hi,
Í configured Portal & KM to send emails and it is working fine but the emails arrives with a wrong URLs to the documents etc.., when the email is originated as a result of a subscription it sends the email with URL´s like http://<%hostname%>/irj/go/km..........
so when clicking on the link it can go to the document cause of the <%hostname%> in the link instead of the real hostname or domain and it does not contain the 50000 port either.
and when the email is generated when a Task is created it sends the URLs like http://localhost:1080/irj..........
so it cant go to the Portal to access the link.
Does anyone knows how to fix this issues?
    Thanx in Advanced!

  • How to change the automatically generated email address?

    Hello,
The description of the problem is as follows:
When our system sends to the customer the report with account statements (as an attachment) the automatically generated text that he receives in the email is:
    "Please respond to "K047472" "
    but the text should be:
"Please respond to "(..here must be a certain email address we want the customer to respond)"
Do you have any idea how to change this?
    regards,
    Slawek

    Hi Slawomir

  • Can I automatically generate a contact list from my emails?

I've been using Mail for years. But not Address Book.
I've got about 10,000 emails, and I'm wondering if there's a way to pull all the email addresses from Mail and automatically generate an Address Book out of it?
Or is there a utility somewhere?
    Thanks in advance!

    Yes there is.
There is a collection of AppleScripts called Mail Scripts available at this link.
    http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html
The script you want to use from the collection of scripts is called Add Addresses.
    +*Add Addresses*+
+Select all messages you want to use for creating the mailing list (for creating a mailing list, you would choose all messages in a mailbox which contains all messages on a certain topic).+
+Run the script and you get a list with all addresses contained in the selected messages - mark all the addresses you want to add to the Address Book using the checkboxes.+
+From the popup menu, choose which group you want to update with the selected addresses or select "Create new Group..." and enter the name for the new group to be created.+
+The script checks whether an address is already present before adding it to the Address Book in order to avoid duplicate entries. If additional information is available for an entry already present in the Address Book (e.g., full name information for an entry which had prior been email-only), the entry will be updated.+

  • Mailman sending wrong url in emails

    Hi,
I migrated from 10.4.11 awhile back and all was well, but I have just added 3 new mail list to the 10.5.6 server. It is sending out the wrong url in the emails to my moderators. How can I change this? It is sending out domain.com when it should be server.domain.com.
Any help would be most welcome.
    Best wishes
    Michael

    sudo /usr/share/mailman/bin/withlist -l -r fix_url mylistname --urlhost=mydomain.tld
Replace mylistname and mydomain.tld with your actual values.

  • Subscription emails: Less is More

    Hey y'all —
I searched this topic but couldn't locate any new news since c. New Year's...
( i ) May I presume that the inability to have "Settings updated successfully" for anything but "Send subscription emails: Immediately (default)" is a system transition problem that hasn't made it to the top of the pile yet? Doesn't the attendant emailing ad infinitum put a big strain on the Discussions' servers?
( ii ) Will a "Never" or "Digest only..." option be incorporated in the subscriptions system, as time allows?
...or is it now, and I can't find it?
          ...or am I all wet?
    Thanks!
    Dean

    716/3162
    Hello Dean,
( i ) Although I'm not sure the daily or weekly email notifications yet work completely as they should, personally I have no problem at all changing my Subscription Preferences and saving them immediately.
Also: Because it's only since two or three days that I've chosen "immediately" instead of "daily", I'm not sure whether this is a recent improvement, or was it that the problem existed only in the Daily/Weekly options: anyway, now the mails I receive clearly show, directly in the Subject, what the update is about. To me it is another step in the right direction.
    ( ii ) That's a good suggestion!
( iii ) Completely off-topic, regarding some of the old questions that I saw (among all the ones I missed):
    - level4, even some of the so-called "Panther-only" versions, have always worked as well in Tiger. About the wrong website stating "Panther-only": I wrote to Volker yesterday, and he fixed this right away. The new URL is
    http://homepage.mac.com/vrunkel/level4.html
    - SuperDuper! and Archive&Install:
I don't know what a "Sandbox" is for (I don't use SD myself), but anyway the main purpose of a backup software is NOT to ensure OS health... The question of cloning also every fault is still there, but it is true that it's firstly a matter of OS maintenance and safe using (no hacking etc...).
About A&I: I am positive, 100% sure, an Archive&Install can bring back some faults from a previously corrupted system. At the moment that's exactly what I'm experiencing, with a permission mystery that I "saved" two times now, after two A&I...
    Best regards!

  • Office Web - wrong URL

    Hello everyone,
I getting some error messages from my Office Web App server showing that is being accessed trough the wrong URL. I setup the server to be accessed trough HTTPS for internal and external trough

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the Office Web Apps cannot render the documents.
The error message is very common, please check the Event Viewer and ULS log to get a detailed error description.
Here is a similar issue link for you to take a look:

  • Wrong URL when running Web queries

    Hello all,
I'm running a query preview (Or any query which is added to my Favorites SAP menu) and I'm getting this error:
    Logon failed
    What has happened?
Call of URL http://sap-bw.nw04.com:8000/sap/bw/BEx terminated due to error in logon data.
    Note
Logon performed in system BWD .
Logon performed for client 000, user tomer , and language EN.
    What can I do?
Check that you have entered the client, user, and password correctly.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
    Error Code: ICF-LE-http-c:000-l:E-T:1-C:6-U:5-P:5-L:3
    HTTP 401 - Unauthorized
Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team
If I would add to the URL &SAP-client=800 (which is the right client, the query would work). How do I change the default client for those URL from the BW side?
    Thanks,
    Tomer.

    hi Tomer,
try transaction SICF, expand default host,
and right click 'sap', 'display service',
in next screen click tab 'error pages'
and 'edit' (pencil icon, beside V),
    you will see ...
    /sap/public/bsp/sap/system/login.htm?sap-url=<%=PATHTRANS%>&BspLanguage=EN&BspLanguageVisible=X&BspChangePasswordVisible=X
    &BspClient=000&BspClientVisible=X&BSPAccessibilityVisible=X
    <b>change
    &BspClient=yourclient</b>
oss note 498936-Logon/password change in Web with BW 3.0B or higher
    Symptom
In the standard system, you log on to BW 3.0B in the Web using HTTP authentication, which does not allow you to enter the language or change your password.
    Other terms
    BW, Business Explorer, 30A, 30B
    Reason and Prerequisites
You have installed BW 3.0A or higher and are using BW Web Analysis and Reporting.
    Refer also to Note 517860.
    Solution
SAP BW 3.5 and higher (SAP Web Application Server 6.40, Support Package Stack 12 or higher)
With SAP BW 3.5 and higher based on SAP Web Application Server 6.40 Support Package Stack 12 or higher, there is an additional option for executing a system logon.
    You will find detailed documentation at http://help.sap.com -> Documentation -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver '04 -> English -> SAP NetWeaver -> Application Plattform -> ABAP-Technology -> UI-Technology -> Web-UI-Technology -> Business Server Pages -> User Concepts -> System Logon.
SAP BW 3.x and SAP BW 3.5 (SAP Web Application Server 6.20 and 6.40 prior to Support Package Stack 12)
The following solution describes the conversion in SAP BW 3.x and SAP BW 3.5 based on SAP Web Application Server 6.20 and 6.40 prior to Support Package Stack 12.
    Documentation
For up-to-date documentation on the subject of logging on to the SAP Web Application Server, see the attachment to note 517860. The attachment is found under Note Administration, under the Attachments tab (which is beside Related notes and Attributes).
For more information, go to http://help.sap.com -> SAP Web Application Server -> SAP Web Application Server 6.20 -> mySAP Technology Components -> SAP Web Application Server -> Web Applications -> Web Application Server -> Web Applications and Business Server Pages -> User Concepts -> Logging onto BSP Applications.
You can find further information on the subject of security at http://service.sap.com/security.
    Activation
You activate SAP logon via service maintenance for the Web Application Server (Transaction SICF). First select the default_host/sap/bw/bex entry and double-click to display and change it.
On the Error Pages tab, change the setting from "Explicit reply page" to "Redirect to URL". You must make an entry in the following format as a redirect.
    /sap/public/bsp/sap/system/login.htm?sap-url=<%=PATHTRANS%>
The URL (including the text between the parameters at the end) cannot contain any blank characters.
The URL should be a relative URL, without a host name or a port. This is the only way you can use load balancing across several servers (if this  is set up, as described in Note 493475).
Activate the "Form field (Base64)" option.
Activate the "Standard" option on the register service data under Safety Requirements.
The possible additional parameters are explained below.
The setting is made on the Error Pages tab because the Web Browser should usually get a HTTP 401 error first (unauthorized) and should then execute HTTP authentication because of this error. If "Redirect to URL" is maintained, a HTTP 401 error is not sent to the browser but, in the above case, a BSP application is called, which performs a logon.
    Deactivation
You can deactivate the SAP logon (for example, with BW 3.0B) by selecting the "Explicit reply page" option on the Error tab.
Calling BW Web Applications with Domains
If you install this logon option, note that the logon application requires you to enter the domain in the URL because the BSP runtime needs it for cookie management.
Therefore, the URL you call must have the following form:
    http://<server>.<domain>.<extension>:<port>/sap/bw/bex
    for example:
    http://ls0028.sap-ag.de:1080/sap/bw/bex
For more information, see Note 434918.
    Explanation of the redirect parameters
    bspchangepasswordvisible
With =X, a switch for the password change is displayed.
    bsplanguagevisible
With =X, a text field for entering the language is displayed.
    bspclient
This parameter specifies the client. If 'auto' is specified, 'sy-clnt' is generated. If nothing is entered or bspclient is omitted, an InputField appears with sy-clnt as the default value.
    bsplanguage
This parameter specifies the logon language. If 'auto' is specified, 'sy-langu' is generated. If nothing is entered or bsplanguage is omitted, an InputField appears with sy-langu as the default value.
    bsptermsofuse
This parameter displays the 'terms of use' switch, if bsptermsofuse is specified. The value of bsptermsofuse then corresponds to the URL that should display the 'terms of use' (the URL must be programmed by the application).
    bspforgotpass
This parameter displays the 'Forget password?' switch if bspforgotpass is specified. The value of bspforgotpass then corresponds to the URL which describes the follow-up actions (what must the user do now) (the URL must be programmed by the application).
    bspsysidvisible
This parameter specifies the system ID. If nothing is entered or if bspsysidvisible is omitted, no SystemId is displayed. If bspsysidvisible is not initial, this is displayed.
    bspdontshowhttpswarning
You can use the bspdontshowhttpswarning=X parameter to suppress the warning that HTTPS is not set up. However, for safety reasons, we recommend that you install HTTPS to transfer passwords securely (see below).
    Example with all parameters
    /sap/public/bsp/sap/system/login.htm?sap-url=<%=PATHTRANS%>
      &bspchangepasswordvisible=X
      &bsplanguagevisibe=X
      &bspclient=000
      &bsplanguage=de
      &bsptermsofuse=/sap/bc/bsp/sap/lib/termsofuse.htm
      &bspforgotpass=/sap/bc/bsp/sap/lib/forgotpass.htm
      &bspsysidvisible=x
    Profile parameters
If you want to use the SAP logon, you must activate Single Sign On (SSO) with the following profile parameters:
    login/accept_sso2_ticket=1
    login/create_sso2_ticket=1 or 2
    icm/server_port_...=PROT=HTTPS ...
To change these profile parameters, you need to reboot the server.
It is absolutely imperative that you activate SSO (or SSO2). However, you can also change your password without HTTPS, although this is not recommended for security reasons.
Note the remarks above on the BspDontShowHttpsWarning parameter under Explanation of the redirect parameters.
To activate SSO/SSL, you need to do more than just set the above profile parameters. You must also install the corresponding security libraries on the application server. You can find a description of how to install it under http://service.sap.com/security -> Security in Detail -> Infrastructure Security -> SAP SAP Web Application Server Security (Release 6.20) -> Configuring the SAP Web Dispatcher to Support SSL.
You do not need to install SSO software on the client PC.
    Message server settings
If you are using a message server, the settings should already be implemented, as described in Note 493475. To use HTTPS, you also need to maintain the following profile parameter on the message server.
    ms/https_port
The HTTP(S) port of the message server (for example, 1090) cannot be identical to the HTTP(S) port of the application server (for example, 1080) on which the message server is running.
Consider the required SAP kernel patch, as described in Note 517860.
    Application server settings
No additional settings are required for the application server Consider the required SAP kernel patch, as described in Note 517860.
    BW Web Intelligence settings
No settings are required in BW Web Intelligence. Business Explorer tools such as the Web Application Designer, Query Designer or SAP Easy Access Menu automatically generate URLs with the message server and port if this is defined by the profile parameters above.
    Adjusting the layout
Information on adjusting the layout is available at http://help.sap.com -> SAP Web Application Server -> SAP Web Application Server 6.20 -> mySAP Technology-Components -> SAP Web Application Server -> Web Applications -> Web Application Server -> Web Applications and Business Server Pages -> User Concepts -> Logging onto BSP Applications -> Enhancements, Layout changes section.
    Problems
If problems occur despite of the above remarks and references to other notes, enter a message under the BC-BSP component.

  • Not working: Send subscription emails: Once per day?

    Seasons Greetings,
Can someone please clarify/confirm what I should have in My Settings in Subscription Preferences.
    They are currently:
Always subscribe to topics I create: Yes
Always subscribe to topics I reply to: Yes
Send subscription emails: Once per day
It's the last option that doesn't seem to work for me. Yesterday after spending a bit of time helping out all the new nano owners I opened Mail and has 67 posts yesterday, with 25 today so far.
Here's an example of 5 separate replies to one subject (numbered by me):

I have some with more than 5 but I don't want to bore you too much
What I really expected with 'Send subscription emails: Once per day' was a digest listing all replies to all posts for a 24 hour period.
Have I misunderstood or is something wrong?

  • KM Reports rendering wrong URL for items!

    Hi,
A KM report was created in Content Management->Reports->Resource Statistics and a folder name say Test Folder under root folder was given as the location. It returned a result set. On clicking each item in the result set its displaying a message "404 The requested resource cannot be found". This is because the url of the item was rendered wrongly Eg:Say item A is in Test Folder. It displays the url as http://myserver/irj/go/km/docs/<b>reporting/reports</b>/Test Folder/A instead of http://myserver/irj/go/km/docs/Test Folder/A. This means an extra <b>reporting/reports</b> is added everytime to the resource path and hence the respective items cant be opened on clicked as its opening the wrong URL. Why is this URL generated wrongly? How can this be corrected?
    Helpful answers will be rewarded.
    Regards,
    Pooja.l

    Hi,
This happens for all reports created under Content Management->Reports-> Resource Statistics. The url is rendered wrongly for all items in the result list so that they wont open on clicked. From where is this url generated?
    Regards,
    Pooja.

  • ABAP code to automatic generate an BW Report

    HI Sap BW gurus,
Can anyone tell me if exists an abap code to automatic generate an report from a query and save it on an directory in HTML format?
    Thanks in advanced,
    Pedro Martins

    You can use this tool...
    /people/durairaj.athavanraja/blog/2005/04/03/execute-bw-query-using-abap-part-i
but then you would have to store it into an application server directory as HTML - there is also a how to paper by the same author which you can use... which talks about email query results in HTML

  • 1.3, rel fields and automatically generated keys

    Hi
I'm just starting to play with relationship fields and I'm working through the RosterApp example <http://java.sun.com/j2ee/tutorial/1_3-fcs/doc/CMP3.html> trying to apply it to my application.
It says I should define relationship fields like this:
    public abstract Collection getTeams();
public abstract void setTeams(Collection teams); But my related table is indexed by an automatically generated primary key which I think we treat as an Object, don't we?
So, should my relationship fields be:
    public abstract ProductType getProductType();
public abstract void setProductType(Object ProductType);& if so, what protects me, besides my own skill and intelligence, from trying to setProductType with a String, for example, when what's actually being used for that key is an Integer.
I mean, I guess we'll always setProductType with the results of a finder method or something so maybe I'm pondering about nothing. My question really is, is that the correct way to define a relationship field where the key is automatically generated.
Also, Annie, are you paid by Sun to always be around answering these questions?
    Cheers anyway
    J

But my related table is indexed by an automatically
generated primary key which I think we treat as an
    Object, don't we?http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/ejb/cmp.html#1066165
The key field must be declared to be of type java.lang.Integer in the abstract `get' and `set' methods of the bean. -- That's what I know for WebLogic. I am not sure about what other app servers do about this.
for example, when what's actually being used
for that key is an Integer.
Also, Annie, are you paid by Sun to always be around
answering these questions? :) Nope, but I get payed for posting on Java forums, since I am short of work and only conduct trainings for newbies joining the company. That's the best way I get to learn, rather than asking questions. And the best part is when I write something wrong and someone hits out at me; helps me a lot. ;)
I hope this one helped you.

  • BI Role upload from BI-JAVA/Portal creates wrong url in Iview property

    Hi Everyobody
here is a tricky one. Our BI DEV is a Systemcopy from the PRD.
When we try to upload Roles from the BI-JAVA/Portal it generates the Iviews Worksets correctly.
The only Problem is that the Iviews property "URL Template" is the one from the Production.
    On our DEV System:
I checked the bsp from icf with the correct url
I checked the HTTP URLLOC entry
    I checked the RSPOR_T_SETUP
I even checkd  the Functionmodule RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET
    I checked the SAP_BW alias /WAS property
    All have the correct URL.
Does anyone know where else the wrong url could be located?
    Thanks for your help
    Murat

    it suddenly worked

  • Automatically generated site connectors in Active Directory all default to the same site

    Greetings,
I have a Single Forest/Single Domain configured with 17 sites. We are currently in 2003 native mode, but are upgrading to 2102R2. The schema has been upgraded and 3 site have been moved to 2012R2 domain controllers.
Each site has one domain controller, most are 2003 but the FSMO roles are on a Windows 2008R2 domain controller in Site1.
Our network is a mesh, but many site have different bandwidth speeds. In this case, Site3 has a 6mb connection to the network.
When I upgraded site3, I couldn't add the renamed replacement server to the domain. The demotion proceeded properly and the objects were removed from sites and services. I found I had problems with duplicate SPNs which were solved by removing the old and
new servers from AD. I still had problems with the new server and found that replication was now broken. We traced it down to to corrupt automatically generated site connectors that all still pointed to the now missing site3 domain controller. I was able to
setup manual replication connectors and then regenerate the automatic connectors, which now pointed to the (in my opinion) proper servers. I only have one manually created site connector to minor site that is not part of the mesh.
This behavior was noticed back in late 2012 when another replication problem occurred during maintenance and was fixed.
This morning I was working on Site4 when I noticed that all the automatically generated site connectors switched back to the new Site3 domain controller.
Can anyone help me determine why the system seems to prefer site3 as a hub. Is there some setting stuck or configured that would make site3 preferential? I want to avoid more down time if site3 has a problem.
    Thanks
    Derek

    Hi Derek,
    >>Can anyone help me determine why the system seems to prefer site3 as a hub. Is there some setting stuck or configured that would make site3 preferential?
This should be decided automatically by KCC. The Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC), a process running on each domain controller, automatically identifies the most efficient replication topology for our network, based on information we provide
about our network in Active Directory Sites and Services.
The KCC runs at specified intervals to adjust the replication topology for changes that occur in Active Directory, such as when new domain controllers are added and new sites are created. The KCC reviews the replication status of existing connections to
determine if any connections are not working. If a connection is not working due to a failed domain controller, the KCC automatically builds temporary connections to other replication partners (if available) to ensure that replication occurs. If all the domain
controllers in a site are unavailable, the KCC automatically creates replication connections between domain controllers from another site.
Regarding Active Directory replication, the following articles can be referred to for more information.
