Wrong Valuation type import to be removed from Purchase order

Hi experts,
By mistake , valuation type import is maintained in our system.  Correct valuation class which is also maintained is Imports.
The wrong valuation type import is automatically captured every time when the user makes an imported  Purchase Order which in turn creates problem at the time of GR.
We want to disable the wrong valuation type Import from the purchase order screen.
Please suggest. Suggestion / Solutions will be highly rewarded.

( Rajneesh Gulati )

Hi,
Go to path, SPRO - MM - valuation - split valuation - configure split valuation.
then click on Global categories and then in this screen select the valuation category that was created and next to it there should be a default valuation type assigned for this category under DVT ExtPr field. Remove this by changing it to blank and then save.
In case if you dont want to use the valuation type then why dont you deactivate the types under the category.
Thanks & Regards,
Kiran

  • Deleated Valuation Type --Need Error Message while creating Purchase Order

    Hi,
    In our scenario , i need a message should flash , if enduser by mistake select the deleated valuation type while creating Purchase Order.
    In current configuration , it's not there.
    Await your expert opinion.
    Regards
    Shyam Kogta

    I investigated this recently in our company and gave this answer:
    A deletion flag does not restrict anything. It is just an indicator to tell SAP that you want this record to be deleted with the next archiving run.
    The archiving run then checks if a deletion is possible or not.
    So you can set such deletion flags long time in advance, even at a moment where you still have inventory.
    To block materials from beeing used in business transactions, usually the material and sales status are used. But these statuses can only be set at overall, plant and sales organisation level.
    In some transactions SAP issues warning messages if a material has a deletion flag. This messages could be customized to be an error and prevent any business. However, this type of restriction is not designed for our machine, as we use the material and sales status.
    Anyhow, there is no message for valuation types that have a deletion flag in procurement area.
    There is one for goods receipts (but only for a certain industry solution that is not used by us)
    There is one for deliveries ( VL 211 ).
    The valuation types are defaulted from customizing to the transaction e.g. purchase order. Or from info record to the PO. So a standard purchase order gets valuation type  ABC , while an internal order (production) gets the DEF.  Usually there should not be a need to change this valuation type manually.
    So the only solution is to archive the material master at valuation type level.
    But I guess, you already have POs with that wrong valuation type, which means you have to archive the POs first. It you have already batches with wrong valuation type, then thy have to be archived as well before a material can be archived.
    And finally if you had stock in current year, then you can archive your material in year after next year, as SAP archives only materials that have no stock in current and previous year.

  • Table links from Purchase order to condition types

    Hi,
    I am looking for the tables to go from purchase order, and to read the conditions associated with the PO.
    I have EKKO, and EKPO, but I cannot find the table where the condition information is stored. I have KONV and KONP, but they seem to be the tables where the condition type info is stored, not the link table where the purchase order specific information is stored.
    Can somebody please point in the right direction?

  • How can I remove apps that I downloaded and removed from "purchased" at App Store?

    How can I remove some apps that I downloaded and removed from "purchased" list at App Store??
    Thanks Vic

    You can't remove apps from the purchased list. It's impossible. You can hide them but not delete them from the purchased list.
    Tap and hold down on the app icon until it wiggles then tap the X on the icon to delete it, tap the home button to stop apps from wiggling.

  • Condition Types appearing two times in a Purchase Order

    Hi,
    The condition types are same in supplementary schema (for Info Record) and Purchase Order Calculation Schema. When I put some value against a condition type under conditions in Info Record then that condition type appears 2 times in the purchase order. It seems the condition type appears 1st time (with value from Info Record) because it is picked from Info Record and 2nd time (with no value) from the Purchase Order Calculation Schema.
    The requirement is condition type should appear only single time in PO (by default) with or without value in spite of having info record. In case some value is maintained in Info Record then the condition type should appear with value but in a single line in PO which can be edited if required. There should not be second line of same condition type by default in PO.
    Can anyone provide some idea to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

    There is only 1 condition line (apart from PB00), which comes 2 times in PO by default, in MEK2 and also one condition line (one line was deleted and then saved) in last PO (from the Info Record). But the condition type still comes 2 times while creating a new PO.
    Please provide some more answer to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance

  • "All items from purchase order cannot be invoiced"

    Hello,<br />
    <br />
    I'm on a SRM 7.0 SP 5 system (ext-classic scenario). Here i try to create an invoice with reference to a Purchase Order, but none of my Purchase Orders can be used for reference. I get the following warning message 'All items from purchase order cannot be invoiced'.<br />
    <br />
    - Created via POWL (create with reference -&gt; invoice/credit memo) i always get the warning message 'All items from purchase order cannot be invoiced'. And no items are converted / can be used for invoicing. Additionally when i use the search option 'find purchase order' within the create invoice transaction i can not find any purchase order to use, it shows 'There is no search result' while there are plenty purchase orders marked with 'invoice expected'.<br />
    <br />
    I am able to create invoices without reference.<br />
    <br />
    I tried vendors set up only for 'invoice expected' and 'GR', 'invoice expected' / 'GR' / 'GR-based-IV' and 'invoice expected' only none of them works, indicators set on vendor master are correctly used on the created purchase order. Outputting PO doesn't make any difference neither.<br />
    <p />
    I have not set up the following (do i need to?):<br />
    - Deactivated the 'CRME' transaction type, no Credit Memo transaction type has been configured/is active.<br />
    - I have not defined the 'INV' transaction type as a follow-on document for my ECPO transaction type within the define transaction type transaction.<br />
    - Tollerances<br />
    <br />
    <b>edit</b> -&gt; i've already searched thorougly for SAP notes but no note seems to cover this particular problem.<br />

    Help is very much appreciated

    Solved! Added SYS attribute for back-end system in organisational scheme.

  • Customisation settings for VC Configuration copy from Purchase order to GRN(Goods Receipt note)

    Hi Experts
    I was looking for Customisation settings for VC Configuration copy from Purchase order to GRN(Goods Receipt note),
    Please share.

    Hi Ritesh
    Thanks for your reply,
    I checked  both of these transaction  we need to select 3 option Characetrstics frm configuration(prio) and classification. I will check that, I had one more question
    In PO VC configuration is called for class type-300  and  in GRN VC configuration  is called for class type -023. How it will fetch the variant class configuration to Batch class configuration?
    Once we had faced some issues the copy from PO to GRN was happening for some batches & some batches it was not happening.
    yes we have activated Mill Functions in our ERP box.

  • Delete item from Purchase Order

    Dear All,
    I want to cancel line item from Purchase Order.
    But  i am unable to do it as i have already made advance payment against PO/Item.
    Actually advance payment was against another Item of PO but by mistake selected wrong item while f-47.
    Now i want to delete item for which made avance payment and transfer advance payment with another PO item.
    How to do it.
    Regards
    Swati

    Hi,
    Your Issue
    Lets say, you have created two items in a PO, and made adv payment against item 10 instead of 20.
    Now you want to delete the item 10---
    Solution
    I hope you have not done any GRN to both items (10 & 20) of your PO.
    Then make your item 10 as same as your item 20. (Do change the material code, order qty, price etc)
    Then delete the item 20.
    So with this, you have made your errorised PO item as actual item, and deleting yout actual PO item as errorised item.
    This is as good as swaping the items from one item to another item in the same PO.
    This will resolve your issue.
    Thanks,
    Srinu

  • Delivery document from Purchase Order

    Hi Experts,
    How can I create a delivery document from Purchase order type NB?
    I have created a delivery from po type UB, and there is a shipping tab at the item. Do I need also a shipping tab in NB to create a delivery? If yes, how can I customize it?
    Thanks.

    Hi
    I think you are talking about NB for intercompnay stock transport order. For that you need to customization in below link
    spro>MM>purchasing>Purchase order>setup stock transport order
    Apart from STO there is no ther delivery for PO. Because for PO you can do only inbound delivery. For that you need to have confirmation control key defined in customization and then you need to give it in PO. Then you can create a inbound delivery for PO and gainst inbound delivery you can make GR.

  • Creating asset from purchase orders

    Dear Gurus.
    Please let me know how to create asset from purchase orders.
    Thanks
    Rgds,
    Saurabh

    hi,
    First, determine the information that is necessary for creating the purchase order:
    Check in the Purchasing component whether a purchase requisition exists for the asset (Logistics - Materials management - Purchasing).
    Determine the vendor from whom you are ordering the asset. If needed, enter the purchasing data for the vendor.
    Determine the asset number of the asset that is being ordered. If necessary, create a new asset.
    Create the purchase order. If there is a purchase requisition, use it as a reference (in Purchasing: Purchase order - Create).
    In the initial screen, when you specify the account assignment type A (for asset), this determines
    The account assignment to an asset
    How the goods receipt or the invoice receipt is to be handled (are asset values to be posted at the time of the goods receipt or at the time of the invoice receipt).
    Once you have entered the general purchasing data in the first screen (order date, material group, etc.), a dialog box appears. Enter the asset to which account assignment is to be made in this dialog box.
    If the asset master record for your purchase has not yet been created, you can create it directly from within the purchase order transaction.
    Display the order item and its current delivery status (in Purchasing: Purchase order - List display - By account assignment).
    Later, post the goods receipt or the invoice receipt. (The Customizing definition of the account assignment type determines when the asset values are posted - either at goods receipt or at invoice receipt.) See the corresponding documentation for the Materials Management (MM) component.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • A/P Invoices FROM Purchase Order

    Hi,
           how can I create a Purchase Invoice from purchase Order in DI API ?
    thanks
    Leonardo Correa

    Hi Leo,
    you have to create two objects
    oPO = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPurchaseOrders)
    oPI = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oPurchaseInvoices)
    than you use oPO.GetByKey(DocEntryFromPO)
    to load the old Purchase Order in the Object
    than you copy the properties to the PurchaseInvoice Object
    oPI.CardCode = oPO.CardCode
    oPI.Lines.SetCurrentLine(0)
    oPO.Lines.SetCurrentLine(0)
    oPI.Lines.ItemCode = oPO.ItemCode
    and you also have to "link" the lines - make a loop.
    oPI.Lines.BaseEntry = DocEntryFromPO
    oPI.Lines.BaseLine = oPO.LineNum
    oPI.Lines.BaseType = bodt_PurchaseOrder
    thats it - this are the important steps.
    i hope it helps enought
    regards

  • Exit or BADI when Tax Calculation in MIRO from Purchase order

    Hi Gurus,
    I Need a Exit or BADI when Tax Calculation in MIRO from Purchase order.
    The problem is the tax is automatically calculated from tax code in PO but I want it to be calculated
    from PO condition. Is there any exit available by which I can modify the value of tax when ticking the check box of tax calculation in MIRO.

    BADI has method COPY_DRSEG_SELKZ but since there only importing paramters and no exporting or changing parametrs you cannot change the values of rseg here.

  • 101 e from purchase order

    Is it possible to have a 101 E movement type starting from the purchase order?
    In the purchase order I insert the sales order and the position of sales order but I want that in the good issue it uses the account of BSX and not KBS. In the good issue it asks me for KBS accounts (but KBS can not have account).
    I wish that the stock is reserved for customer and order position.
    Only later I want to proceed with the movement 411 e or directly with the 601e.
    Anyone know how to do?
    Thanks in advance
    Debora

    Hi,
    No, Always Receipt of goods with 101 E movement type referes to Sales Order means starting point is Sales Order. Your have to create Your Purchase Order with reference to the Sales Order only.
    1.After doing MRP run convert PR in to PO that will automatically have Sales Order reference
    2.Create a Purchase Order bu taking Account Assignment Category as
        B - MTS prod./sales ord.
        C - Sales order
        D - Indiv.cust./project
        X - All aux.acct.assgts.  etc..
    But in both the cases actual starting point will be Sales Order only.
    With this when ever you issue goods the movement type it will take is 601 E
    the accounting entries will be Stock - credits and Cost of goods sold - debits
    Movement type 411E is Transfer posting from Sales Order Stock to Own Stock.

  • Is there is a way to have a link from purchase order to cost center report.

    Is there is a way to have a link from purchase order to cost center report.
    I am meaning kind of:
    Standard way to customized this link?
    or
    User exit to have this link in place
    or
    Any other solution
    Thanks

    For me it does not make any sense from going from PO to cost center report.
    However, if you want to see the purchase order cost incurred with a cost center, execute KSB1 report. Within the layout, bring "Purchasing Document" field, where you can see the purchase order number in cost center line item report.
