I need an upgraded copy of Photoshop, and I bought the CS6, but I accidentally ordered the Windows version, and I use a Mac. How can I go about getting the Mac version, or the Mac serial code for this to work?

I have a version of cs6 which i can not register in mij account. How can i do that.

Two years ago i bought a version of cs6. I never succeeded to register my copy on adobe.com. Now i want to upgrade it to cc and get my discount by using my, already bought, version of cs6. But i can not get the discount because i didn't register it to my email account which i use to login on cc.
How can i get the discount to my first year.

It can be registered under your Adobe ID only if it is a retail product. Volume licensed products can not be registered & they are also not eligible for CC promotional pricing.
Please check the product that you have, you can take Adobe Support assistance for the validation.

How to covert files from trial version to CS6, when my trail has expired

I used a trail a few months ago to create a catalog for work.
The powers that be liked it and purchased the software for me.
When I opened my CS6 version it won't read any of the files I created with the trail version.
How can I convert these files when my trail has expired?

I used the Creative Cloud Trail. I'm guessing that my IT department ordered the wrong version.
Error message reads:
Cannot open "file" because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CC (10.1)

No english version of CS6 for China?

I have been contacting Adobe office in China several times and they told me no english version of CS6 for China, only chinese version is available!
This is unacceptable and i'm very curios to know WHY!
So non-chinese speaking people in China cannot use CS6? Are you forcing me to download the free cracked version of your software?!
At the mean time i'm also trying to contact Adobe in U.S., one online customer service told me I CAN purchase English version as well...when i told this to the customer service in China, they told me this online support might be wrong...........uhhhh, are you kidding me?!

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

The legality of using a student version of CS6 at home (legal) and also using it at work (?)

Whilst I know it is legal to use my student bought version of CS6 for commercial work at home I don't know for sure if it is legal to also install the suite at my workplace (an architect firm).
I found two licencing answers which seem to imply that I could use the suite at home and at work (though not at the same time).
Can I use my software on two computers?

Adobe Student and Teacher Edition software may be used on two computers only. This is ensured through a product activation procedure, which is performed online.
Perhaps posting here is not a definitive way of finding out an answer to my question... if so, where else could I go?

We have a saying here in Germany: "Wer viel fragt, geht viel irre." Meaning the more you ask, the more you get confused. The simple legal interpretation is, that what is not explicitly precluded/ exempted in any sort of contract is considered as never having been part of this contract and thus nil and void. While going on at some length about the secondary install, neither the edu FAQ nor the EULA make any mention of what your primary computer actually needs to be or where it must be located. So for all intents and purposes a computer provided by a company where you intern could be considered just that as long as the license you install on it can only be used by you, meaning no other person can use it under a differtent user account on the same machine, which is technically perfectly doable by eitehr managing the Activation/ Adobe ID yourself or using the operating system's user privileges and file permissions to prevent access to e.g. the license store folders. Beyond that, you cannot expect any 100% definite answer, only taking this to court on a case by case basis could, but I guess that's not the point in the first place. People do weird things with their licenses all the time and depending on where in the world you live or even use a program at any given time, half of that stuff may be invalid, regardless. The only personal observation I will make here: A company that is dependent on a student's own PS license is probably not a place I would consider a good place for getting my career started...

Number of times I can install downloaded version of CS6

I have two different computers that I would like to install my CS6 programs. Can I do this with one download and purchase of CS6? How many times/computers can I install my downloaded version of CS6? Is the number different if I have the disks sent to me in the mail?

CS6 software can be downloaded once and then installed from the same download file on as many computers as you wish.
However the software can only be activated for use on a maximum of two computers at any one time.
Two activations per license remains the case regardless of the media used (download or disc).

I work on Solaris 8.0 and I installed SDK toolkit. I wrote my own subagent starting with the demoAgent into the toolkit.
I created X.acl and X.reg
Also, I configured into snmpdx.acl my traps exactly like I did into my X.acl
I started snmpdx in debug mode (-d 4) and from another window I started my subagent X
I receive this error from snmpdx agent:
error while receiving a pdu from hostname.164: The message has a wrong version (2)SESSIONS:
Where hostname is the name of my hostname hehe.

How to Delete 32 Bit Version of CS6 (but not removing 64 bit version)?

I created a bit of a problem. I have CS6 on a Win 7 64-bit system. I originally installed only the 64 bit version, but then several months later I installed the 32 bit version (don't ask why). Now the following file types are associated with teh 32 bit version: tif, tiff, psd and cr2 (I have associated jpg with a different program, so they are not a problem). I have tried to change the file association by (1) using Control Panel > Default Programs > Associate a file type to associate with the 64 bit version and (2) specifiying the default program from the context menu when right clicking on a file. All to no avail, as these files remain associated with the 32 bit version of CS6.
So I decided to uninstall the 32 bit version. But that won't work either. As you can see from the image, below, I can uninstall the 64 bit version but not the 32 bit version, which is the exact opposite of what I want to do.
I will be happy for any suggestions, either to uninstall the 32 bit version or to get Windows to make the association between the tif, psd and cr2 files and the 64 bit version of CS6.

Buying the wrong version of a song.

Buying the wrong version of a song. Is it final transaction? can this mistake be undone or better yet corrected?
There is this song called "gotas de lluvia" by a group "los diablos locos" which i found on youtube. I could have captured it & had a copy that way but i wanted to support this new & upcoming band. So i purchased the song however i was expecting a "salsa" version instead i got a "cumbia" version of it. I went back to itunes and looked over at the store info to see if i somehow over read or misread anything. However there is no way of telling one song version over the next, & itunes doesnt offer a way to sample the song before you purchase it. I cant seem to find any cusmomer care i can call to correct this problem instead i can only post this question and hope someone can respond with a solution. In the meantime i have lost faith in the current purchasing process of music and because i cant read or tell the difference between songs ill hate to buy two versions of the same song in order to find the one im looking for. Or worst buy the same song twice. Am i entitled for a refund or credit?
My friend says that is itunes' way of tricking customers to buying multiple songs, but i hate to think so sinicle. Can someone please tell me different?

I downloaded the wrong version of a movie HD instead of SD, can I return it without having to purchase another copy?

Over the weekend I purchased a movie through iTunes, unfortunately the format I meant to purchase was SD and not HD, Unfortunately I purchased the wrong version, and would like to "return" it if possible. I intend to watch it on a larger screen that doe not support HD formatting.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

To set to download to HD: Preferences > Store > change your preferred HD format to 1080p.
To download as SD uncheck "Download HD when available"

I do not have the ability to edit my .pdf once converted into a word document. Did I purchase the wrong version?

When I covert my pdf into a word document it does not allow me to edit the actual text. I can add random text to the document, not following the format of the document (not aligned, not the same font, etc.). I can add text, but I cannot what is already in a sentence or paragraph.
Did I purchase the wrong version?

You have the right tool for converting PDF files to Word. For starters, please try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit. If that doesn't work, we'll need to take a closer look at how the PDF that you converted was created (did it start out as a scanned document, for example). If it did start as a scanned document, it's important that OCR (optical character recognition) was performed during conversion to convert scanned text to editable text. OCR is on by default when you convert via the ExportPDF website, but can be turned off if you convert via Reader.
If triple-clicking doesn't work, let me know, and then we'll take a closer look at your file.

I have Jdeveloper Base installation and JDK 1.5..the classpath and JAVA_HOME environment variables are set to the respective JDK1.5\bin folders. Even then when i try to make a web application, with a simple JSP page i get the following error :
Initialization error: class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 45.3 or 46.0 or 47.0 or 48.0 on CLASSPATH ..(followed by a long list of paths)

When i try to compile a java file i get this error.

Did you uninstall 1.3 completely? Completely in the sense both jdk and jre.
You may get this error if you use javac of one version and the rt.jar of another version.
