WRT110 Won't Let Wireless Connections Through To internet
I have a WRT110 that let's a wired connection through to the internet but none of the wireless connections. I'm connect to a new Motorola DSL modem provided by AT&T. (Lightening killed the last one)
My wireless stuff can talk to each other but can't access the internet.
I just installed the latest firmware. Nothing doin'.
Ideas? Some setting somewhere?
Reset the router open the set up page of the router .
reconfigure the router as you mention you have DSL Connection .
Just follow This Link to configure your router.
Then Reconfigure the wireless settings with new network name and the password
After that unplug the power from the modem and the router
See if that helps.

I tried disabling WEP and enabling it as well but I still can't connect wirelessly. I tried rebooting my router/modem and my computer but it still won't help me. I checked everywhere in my sever to find errors but nothing came up. I can connect to the internet in my PC but any other wireless devices cannot connect to the internet wirelessly.

IMessage won't let me connect through phone number any more?!
I used to be able to talk through iMessage using my mobile number, now the option is just grey and I cannot click it - only my email address which is really frustrating!
How do I get use of my phone number back to the service?!I don't know if you're talking about sending, receiving, or both.

Can I get Linux and Firefox on CD! My XP won't let me connect to the internet.
My desktop operating system is XP. The latest upgrade has made it impossible to get on the internet. The Geek Squad guy says tha I need to upgrade my memory and go to
Windows 8. The combination would cost me $200 with not quarantees that it would work.
Downloads are impossible so I need to have the appropriate browser software on CD.

Most if not all distros allow you to download CD images that you can use.
You can do all this on one of the laptops that have connectivity.

My iphone4 won't let me connect to the internet.
it says there is no active cellular data network. my friend has the same phone and hers works just fine.
Check Settings>General>Network, make sure Cellular Data is set to On. Also confirm that you have a good signal from your carrier. If still having problems, try turn putting your phone in Airplane mode for 30 seconds, then turn Airplane Mode off again. If still having problems, try going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings (note: this wil erase passwords for previously joined networks). If none of this works call you carrier to be sure your data plan is properly provisioned.

My ipod 5g says it is 1969 and will not let me connect to the internet
When I charged my ipod touch 5g and it turned on it said it's 1969 and won't let me connect to the internet. I've restarted my ipod, I've tried resetting all settings including network and I tried connecting it to itunes but it won't connect to itunes due to an unknown error. How do I get my ipod to connect to the wifi and reset to the correct date and time?
Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has never been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this. -
My ipod won't let me connect to wi-fi, won't let me restore or reset it, and it keeps telling me i knew a passcode for any one and I never set a password up. How do I fix this? Says try again in 6180146 min. my passcode setting is off, but restrictions are on. Very frustrated. please help

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Deauthorizing iTunes on a computer? My laptop won't let me connect my iPhone because it says I'm authorized on too many computers, but when I try to de-authorize another computer I use it won't let me. What's up?
What do you mean it won't let you? What exactly does it say? (Sorry to sound so exasperated but this is like the 6th post in a row where people have made vague statements which do little to help us find solutions without a game of 20 questions.) I'm going to guess and say you can only deauthorize a computer to which you have physical access or VPN login. The alternative is to deauthorize all which you can only do once a year.

My brand new out the box airport extreme won't let anything connect to it.
My brand new out the box 5th gen (2013) airport extreme won't let anything connect to it. I've tried several setups from sratch by the book. multiple resets and restores still nothing. It just keeps telling mt that the password is in correct even though it is 100% right.
My curren set up is as follows. Phone Line -> ADSL2+ router -> Airport extreme. There is also an old airport express running of the router, this was done because the airport extremem was failing to work.
Trying to connect:
2x iPhone 4s
2x macbook air
2x Mac Pro.You will want the Extreme to be in bridge mode if it is currently disabled. (see image below)
This will allow the ADSL2+ router to perform two important functions for your entire network: 1) Provide both the DHCP & NAT services, and 2) Provide PPPoE support to allow access to your ADSL ISPs network.
If the Extreme is left in its default state, a router, it will conflict with the first item and you will have want is known as a "double NAT" condition. Something you will want to avoid. -

My music tab won't let me browse through my playlists and songs. Every time I open it on my iPod it only shows the same song 'playing' onthe screen. I can still play other songs by randomely pressing my pause button. What is wrong with it? And how can I fix this?
Whenever you open your music, you will be routed directly to the last song you were playing. You can tap on playlists or other options to check on your song lists.
