WRT150n stopped working...Power LED OFF

Hi,
My router suddenly stopped working. LEDs are glowing in weird manner.
Power LED is OFF
LAN/Internet LED are ON (even though nothing is connected to it).
I dont know whats wrong.
Coincidently, the same thing has happened to my previous netgear router also. Same problem. Same status on LEDs.
Does anybody know of this issue?

What do you mean the "power supply is fine"? Did you test it? Isn't the power light still off on the router?

Imac 20" just stopped working - just switches off

Hi I'm running an imac 20" intel and its about a year old - I've had no problems with it until now - I installed ilife 08 last week and also added a 4 port USB extender cable but it worked ok for a few days after.....Now it has suddenly started turning itself off and I have to unplug the power cable before turning on again and even then it starts to boot and then switches off........fortunately I backed everything up the first time it did it but is it the power cable or a computer issue? I'm in Singapore...

my imac does the same thing. have you gotten any resolution to this? I have had my mac only working first 2 months after i bought it.been sitting in box in closet now for over a year. Because it just "stopped working" . turns on -get the apple screen then click -off. help if u got any.

Power LED off, all others on - WRT54G

Hello everyone.
My WRT54G was in the middle of working correctly when it dropped all connections. The power LED is now off and all of the link lights are permanently illuminated, even with nothing plugged into those ports. The ethernet LED is also continuously lit. Windows reports "limited or no connectivity" on computers attached to the router in its current state.
I've tried power-cycling several times and I've tried to use the reset button, albeit for only 5-10 seconds after power-up. The results are the same - no power LED and everything else lit up.
Is there anything I can try to resurrect my router? There seems to be a lot of information on blinking power LEDs, but not much on one that's off with the rest of the LEDs fully illuminated.

1. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
2. Then, unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for
another 30 Seconds.
3. Plug back the power back in, and keep holding down the reset button
for 30 Seconds.
4. Release the reset button.
If still the same light status .........then i think router is gone bad ....

WRT54GP2 not working - Power LED blinking fast.

My WRT54gp2 has been working without issues for 2 years. All of a sudden from yesterday, the power LED is blinking fast. I am not able to connect to the web interface. My computer says limited or no connectivity. The internet and WAN LED are steadily lit. Has anyone faced this issue ? Is my router brick now ?

As the power light on the router is blinking..It means that the firmware of router is corrupted..Check this link to unbrick the router.

TS1424 Itunes error message on Windows 8: Itunes has stopped working, then slams off the program! Help??

I cannot get my new Windows 8 computer to connect to Itunes store! It shuts off Itunes every time, just saying the program has stopped working

I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

Battery suddenly stops working - computer shuts off despite battery saying its charged.

I have a HDX16 laptop running windows 7.
The battery is a year and a few months old, and yesterday was giving me at least 50 min of battery life. However today, it wont hold a charge at all and my computer shuts down completely whenever the power supply is interrupted for a millisecond. I ask because this is the second time a battery has suddenly stopped working on me and I am wondering if there is a reason for this.
I tried to check the battery condition by hitting esc + f2 when my computer starts up, but there is no battery check option.
Any explanation or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry you're having a battery issue. I would suggest running a battery check using HP Support Assistant if you have it installed on your computer.
You could also try using this standalone Battery Check.
Do you have any issues like this if you operate the computer without the battery and just have the power cord plugged in?

I run the ccleaner 2.17 in the log function has stopped working and led to the play, stop, rewind ... " keys, between the two speakers.

Seems the CCLeaner cleaned some registry entries or values which are responsible for the Toshiba button functionality
As Akuma said you could reinstall the VAP to get this issue solved but you could also set the OS to the early time point using the Windows system restore tool.
I think this would be a faster workaround

Itunes stops working right after launch

As of yesterday, when i open itunes , a few seconds after opening it stops working and shuts off
I cant do anything to fix I have tried uninstall and reinstall, restroe points, and previous versions,
nothing has worked, please help

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Error code 43 - Biometric stop working (Authentec)

My equipment: HP Pavilion dv6-7070sw Entertainment (still on warranty)
I have a problem with biometric hardware. It stopped working without any reason. I could log in the system, but when I tried to use it to log in to my e-mail website it stopped working. LED does not light. It's totally dead. There is an error in device manager "Unknown device". Biometric device is missing. Reinstalling HP Simple Pass and drivers using HP Recovery Manager didn't solve the problem. I see only information that Windows shutdown device because of error code 43. I don't see any information about HP drivers for biometric equipment but only Windows drivers. I unistalled device throughdevice manager and HP Simple and install it again (with update from HP Support Assitant), installation was complted correctly, but it doesn't solve the problem. It seems that biometric device is dead and HP Simple is ok.
When I try to intall driver manual through device manager I see Windows information that device already has actual drivers (what is not true).
This is Authentec fingerprint device or Validity sensor (in HP Simple Pass I see Authntec but i HP Recovery Manager Validity Sensor).
What I should to repair biometric device?

I have managed to remedy this problem by looking at my usb devices in your device manager (go through Control panel / System). Look for the device with the little yellow triangle with the exclamation mark. High light it and delete it. After a reboot, your biometric should be operable.

Adobe Speedgrade CC 2014.0 has stopped working

I've just done a fresh Windows 7 install on my workstation and have installed the trial version of AS CC 2014. Upon opening the program, I'll try to run any sort of action and I'll get an APPCRASH error, with the subject heading.
Once I choose close progamme, I also then get another APPCRASH error:
Adobe QT32 server.exe has stopped working
Firewalls are off.
Any ideas?

The resolution I referred to earlier was screen resolution.
I've been able to successfully playback tif sequences of 1998x1080 but have had the crashes when dropping a sequence of 2048x858 (less pixels!?) on the timeline.
The files I'm attempting to use, are hosted on a SAN. I have taken the files that would crash Speedgrade, and copied them to the local disk and this plays back without crashing.
I do however have another machine with the same spec, that will playback the same sequences, from the SAN, eliminating the idea that it is a SAN issue.

I am having this same issue on my iPhone 4. The most recent update to iOS 6.1 didn't fix it either. Has anyone found a fix for this problem? It doesn't happen often, maybe every third day or so but requires power off, power on to bring the sound back.

Laptop A75-s206 no power (LED power-on off) a/c power work fine

I accidentally remove screen plug from A75-s206 MB when a/c power is on then I hear a high pitch sound then power-on light shout off and no power since then, i try to look for any thing burn up can find any burn-out components. a/c power work fine. what seem to be the problems? is any power reset button?

Thank you for posting this solution, however it didn't work on my WRT160N V2.
I got mine in January of 2009. Everything was working fine. Then I saw that there was a firmware upgrade available on Linksys' website. So i downloaded new firmware. Logged into my router, went through firmware upgrade screen and then...IT CRASHED!!! Got an error screen. So, i waited, rebooted and got the flashing LED power light and nothing else.
I did go through all your steps that you've listed here, and still nothing. My power LED light is still flashing.
Can someone help how to fix that problem or is the router officially dead?
