WRT160N can someone help me set up a configuration so I can play Age of Empires 2 online?

Currently I am not able to sucessfully join or host games.
I tried TCP/IP option, but no one can find me, I can't join other's games.
I tried gamespy, no avail.  Unable to connect.
I disabled my windows firewall and linksys's SPI firewall.  Any advice?  Thanks!

Try Opening a Port number for your games i.e : 23978. To open the port on your router you need to login to your Router setup page click on Application and Gaming Tab and Click on Port Trigerring and Type in that Port Number in all 4 boxes and in Application Name type "AE" and click on save settings. This should solve your Problem.

No way to trace it if you didn't active Find my Phone on your iPhone before you lost it.
Notify your carrier and your police of the loss.  Chances are you will never get your phone back.

  • Can someone help me set up Hotmail on the e72

    hi everyone
i recently bought a new nokia e72, online, from Virgin Australia
and i cant set up the email on it.. ive taken it to the virgin shop and they told me it was a nokia problem
When i begin the email setup wizard it connects through the packet data - not wireless and it asks me to begin the wizard- i click start
it then opens a list of different email carriers and i select 'hotmail'
i then enter my email address and password and it says 'detecting email settings' and then has no message of confirmation and returns to the list of email carriers.
ive tried setting it up so many times and it hasnt worked at all.
can anyone help me set this up please
    thanks guys
btw. my email address has the '.com.au' end - would this affect anything??

the e72 is forcing the use of the nokia messaging which has been in the crapper for months now.
in order to bypass it and use the integrated symbian email client, do not select the hotmail, select "other" and enter the email information. when you get to the TOS (terms of service), tap skip/no/cancel in order to NOT use the Nokia Messaging. then just use your standard settings for hotmail for your inbound and outbound ports.

  • Can someone help with setting up debugging?

This is my first time trying to debug native methods. I have the "Essential JNI" book by Rob Gordon, which is good, but it is out of date and gives incomplete and incorrect information about debugging using Microsoft's VC++. Can someone give me guidance on this?

I assume that you are implementing native methods in a VC++ DLL. You have written a java program that defines the native methods, and calls them.
I also assume that you are able to get from the java code into your DLL, but don't know how to debug the DLL. (If you aren't getting to the DLL, then you have a java problem, and have to debug that first; alternatively, you may have problems with mismatches between your java and your DLL. These probrelms are a pain in the butt, but ultimately do not require any special debugging setup.)
    To debug the DLL:
o open the workspace/project in the VC++ IDE.
    o Set any desired breakpoints.
o Select the menu item Project/Settings, and select the debug tab in the popup dialog.
o Enter java.exe as the executable to be used during debugging. Here is a sample entry:
    D:\jdk1.3.1\jre\bin\java.exe
o Set up the command line so that java.exe runs your java application. Here is a sample entry:
    -classpath d:\MyServer\tests\ -Djava.library.path=d:\MyDllDebugDir\ MyTest
At this point you should be able to hit the execute button and wind up at the first breakpoint in your DLL.

  • Can someone help me set up my router?

i have a buffalo router with bridge mode a.k.a accesspoint capability. now, i am familiar with setting up the router in router mode. but recently i got a new connection which comes along with a dhcp enabled modem and uses static ip. i just have to plug in the modem to the macbook and net starts working. i dont need to set the ip either. however, i case the ip is wrong all i need to do is set the fixed ip in 'network' and its up and running.
now i tried setting my buffalo router in access point mode with both automatic as well as manul ip configs but it doesnot work. infact it doesnot accept my ip saying that my ip and gateway are of differnt domain. buffalo has no online supprt or proper documentation.
i know this is apple exclusive website but since this has got to do with networking with my mac i posted here. can someone give me step by step instrections? thanks in advance.
    Neerav

cable modem is handling the dhcp.
to use a router properly then it is best to turn off the dhcp server in the cable modem. You only want it to pass the WAN (Public IP address) to the router.
So you connect the cable modem to your router's wan port. You then connect your mac to the router using a ethernet cable. Then you configure the router using its WebUI by entering its ip address into your webrowser usually http://192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 etc
    These are generic instructions.
Then you setup your internet connection to receive ip automatically.
Then goto router's wireless settings. Change the SSID to a name of your choosing other than the brand name of the router.
Change the wifi security to WPA-psk, tkip and set a good strong WPA passphrase.
    Save the setttings.
Remove the ethernet cable from your mac click the airport icon in the menu bar, choose your new network and enter your wpa password.

  • Can someone help me setting up mail...

i have a google mail account and wanted help setting mail so i can check emails straight from there. i'm a bit confused when it comes up to the imap/pop sectios as i don't know what google uses when it comes to these kind of settings.
    please help.

    crafty_me,
I believe Ernie was pointing you toward the information you need, and telling you that you first have to set up your gmail account to use either POP or IMAP (either one can be used with gmail). He then asked that you narrow down any additional problems you might have by carefully reading the information provided by gmail support, before coming back here with those specific questions.
He doesn't need to "chill," and you do not need to apologize. Based on what you originally posted, with no indication of what problems you might be having beyond "I cannot set up gmail," we could only tell you how to set up Mail to access our email. Makes sense, doesn't it?
We'll need you to make an attempt using the appropriate instructions (which he gave), then come back if you need more help.

  • Can someone help me set Labview to recognize my AT-MIO-16E-10 board?

I'm running Labview 5.1 on WinNT.  I recently had to re-image my PC and have now lost connection to the AT-MIO-16E-10 board.  Can anyone show me how to set this up?  I cannot remember if an installation CD came with the board.  If so where can I get another one?
Thanks for any help out there.

1.) Is it even being picked up by the OS (i.e., does it shown up under Start » Settings » Control Panel » Devices?)
2.) I thought that was a legacy board, which means it should only use Ni-DAQs up to 6.1:

  • Can Someone Help Me Set Up Basic Faxing in 10.3.9?

I have a USR Sportster modem connected to my G4 via a serial-to-USB adaptor. OSX sees the modem; I know this because I can use the modem to autodial my phone from Now Contact (I'm lazy) and I can make OSX try to dial an internet connection (which I dont need since I have cable modem). But I can find no place to set up the fax; I can't add it to the Fax List.
In the Print&Fax prefs, I have the Faxing tab filled out.
In the Internet Connections window, I see "USA19H33P1: Idle" (this is the name of the port that the USB/serial driver creates). If I click on the icon for that port, I see "CONFIGURATION: Modem Configuration:" If I put a phone number in there and press connect, I hear the modem dial it.
But there's something missing because when I try to fax from the PRINT dialog and I pull down the Modem list (which says No Fax Selected) and select Fax List, there are no fax "machines" listed and no ADD button.
What do I need to do? How do I get my modem added to the Fax List?

I also have a US Robotics Sportster modem connected to my G5 via a Keyspan USA-28x USB Twin Serial Adapter.

For the Device URI, I used "fax://dev/cu.KeySerial1". Yours will be different depending on the serial port used.
I can now print to fax using the "Fax PDF..." option and the fax modem will dial but I haven't tested whether or not the fax goes through completely. I also haven't tested fax receiving so I don't know if creating symbolic links for cu.modem and tty.modem is necessary.

  • Can someone help re setting up sub-folders on a POP email account

My email is through btinternet and I think it is a POP account (no expert on this sort of thing!). Is it possible to have sub-folders on a POP email account on your iPhone? Or is this only on IMAP? If I can't do it does anyone have any recommendations on which email provider is the best for the iPhone and is there anyway to map my old address to my new one?
Sorry if being incredibly thick here!?
PS. Am I right that on text messaging there is no way to forward texts that are sent to you (eg, jokes)?

    Welcome to the discussions!
I do not believe you can have subfolders on POP accounts. Exchange, IMAP, Gmail and Yahoo! do support it however. Gmail/Yahoo! is free so it's hard to beat that price!
If they allow it, you may be able to setup email forwarding on your BT account. Log into the web-based version of the account and see if it is offered.
As of right now, you are not able to forward text messages. Hopefully they'll add this soon.

  • Can someone help me fix my apple id so i can upgrade my apps??

I changed my Apple ID and i can download new apps but i am not allowed to updat them. How do i fix this?

It's hard to tell, but maybe you're saying you wish to use a different Apple ID at the store from your iPhone.
You can do that by going to Settings > Store > Apple ID (at the bottom) and then sign out and sign back in with the correct ID.

I think your Voice mailbox goes by time, not # messages, so if one or two of the messages is longer, then it would be "full" faster.
Go to youmail.com and follow the directions to set up youmail.
Just curious - why do you need to save 20+ messages?  Once I deal with them, I delete them.... and I rarely have more than one or two \saved messages....

No one here can help you, nor can Apple or any carrier. If you know the location, contact the local police where it is located.
