WRT160N setup error message

I'm trying to setup my new router, but in the setup mode, after plugging in the router, I get the message "this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
program: G:\PureInstaller\setup.exe" and the program closes. I'm running Vista Home Premium with all the updates. Any help would be appreiated.

I think the problem was caused from my Internet Protocol Version 4 in Network Connections not being set to "Obtain IP Address Automatically." I changed it and did the configurarion through the web utility and it worked fine; didn't try the CD again though.

Hi,
Inside the user exits or Badi's the warning messages will not work. We are having two options for displaying the messages.
1. Populate the warning message in the std message log.
(Or)
2. Use the Function Modules POPUP_TO_CONFIRM & POPUP_TO_INFORM and display the message.

Setup Error message prevents installation

When I try to install Indesign I get the error message similar to : Minimum Requirements not met: Windows XP server pack 3 or Vista service pack 1 must be installed for setup to continue.
However- I have Vista service pack 1 installed, this is a very frustrating limitation, and I would like to find a way to solve this.

Are you able to simply ignore and proceed? I got a similar message installing on my XP SP2 system and it runs fine.
Not sure about vista, but in XP if you right click on My Computer (just Computer in Vista, I believe), and select Properties, the General tab lists the service pack level.

Setup Error message in Query Designer

Hi all,
I have built a BW IP query with an aggregate as infoprovidor. In order to make the query plannable I have to use all KF and Characteristic and set the correct filtervalues. I have executed this specific query many times in order to check if all rows/columns are filled ok and are plannable but the last time I executed the query the following error message popped up :
"Setup Error Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your setup"
When I click OK the Query Designer shuts down. When I then start the Query Designer again and want to select my query the same error message appears so I cannot access my query anymore.
I am going to built a new one but like to know the probable cause of this error message as my query was consistent for sure.

Setup error message, suggestions welcomed!

I installed and unstalled Digital Editions. Then bought a new Sony eReader, and went to
Adobe to again install DE. At the end of the setup I get the following error message: This installer require administrative access, aborting. Now the software doesn't work right, no surprise I guess.
I 'live chatted' with Adobe and asked them to toss me from their database, but the rep asked that I try the ADE forum to see if anyone has see this problem. I think the uninstall wiped the program but I'm still being partially recognized when trying to download it again from Adobe. I need HELP in capital letters

Thanks for your response. The problem was so simple but I didn't know it at the time. An Adobe Chat Line person told me to open ADE, then do the 'CtrlShiftD' to deactivate, then then uninstall. Then I did a new clean reinstall. FINALLY (sigh) ADE is working properly. I was able to successfully download two ePub books from my local library to my new Sony ER350. Again I do thank you for taking time to consider my problem!

Setup error message with 4.1.4e update

I have a Tungsten T3 Palm. In the process of reinstalling my software using the download, "Palm Desktop 4.1.4e and HotSync Manager (Windows)"; during the install an error message states"unable to complete setup because unable to connect to internet,", but the install completes with this error in notepad, "Dll Unloaded. HSManager is Closed. InstallerNotify dll installed successfully.Error in loading the library."
I don't know what the problem is as my internet connection is fine and I can only assume the download is not corrupt. Could someone please help me, as I have lost all my info in my computer and it remains on my Palm but I am unable to sync it back onto my computer...

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Support Community.
Suggest you try a "clean uninstall" of Palm Desktop, and try reinstalling from the download. Instructions in this thread.

NB200 Setup Error Message

Hello, i have a nb200 that i just got... as i turn on the notebook, i get an error message saying " THE SYSTEM IS NOT FULLY INSTALLED. PLEASE RUN SETUP AGAIN" i have tried to restart it and remove and reinsall the battery but nothing works... can someone please help.

Try running Recovery from the HDD.
I think you hold the Zero key down during Power-On, or choose Recovery from the Vista startup menu (Press F8 before Windows boots).

Hi,I contacted the support centre. It's frustrated to know that this kind of problems happened very often because of their software glitch. I need to download a MDMyClound desktop app which they never mentioned on their instructions. Even though, it still takes a few tries by restarting my cloud again.But the good thing is, it works now even I can never finish the setup process.Thanks for your help.

How to setup error message in JSP if no data or page found

I want to show users some error message after user clicks on a link and no page or data is found.
How do I show users to a valid error message if there is no data exists after they click on a link?

I am trying to set up my Apple TV. When I go to home sharing, I type in my Apple ID and correct password, and then receive an error message that says, "The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again." I have tried multiple times, and I have tried with different Apple ID's... It still doesn't work. What is the problem????

Verify that your password is correct by logging in @ appleid.apple.com. If it doesnt work the issue is password related. If it works power cycle the apple tv and the router (powered down for at 30 seconds). If you still have the problem after that the issue could be port related. HT2463 lists all the ports that are required. If you don't know how to open ports on the router call the router manufacturer.

I think there is a profile saved on your wireless computer.
What is the operating system on your computer ?
Delete the profile on your wireless computer. I think you are using the intel wireless adapter on that computer.
Open the Intel wireless adapter utility. There you will find the profiles saved on your computer. Delete the wireless network profile that you are trying to connect.
Now open the setup page of the wireles router. Go to the wireless tab. Check the wireless network name. Click on wireless security tab and check the wireless security settings. Make sure that you have the correct network key/password.
Now try to connect to the wireless network again.
If it is windows XP operating system then you can also connect to the wireless network using the windows wireless network utility.

I received this error as soon as I inserted the disc.
InstallShield Wizard: iPodSetup.exe-Entry point not found.
The procedure entry point ENRONMS could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL
I use a Fujitsu Lifebook laptop with Windows XP Home.
Please help if anybody..

Looks like one of hte dll's required for installshield might be damaged or missing on your windows install. you might do a google search for install shield and see if you can find an install and reinstall the install sheild files.

Error message control for invoice w/o PO in SRM

Hi,
Anyone know how to setup error message if invoice value limit is above e.g. 10000 USD? Invoice will be entered without PO.
There will be no PO but invoice will be created and user should get error message if total invoiced value is above 10000 USD.
We are in SRM_SERVER5.5 with SP 06.
If anyone came across during IMS setup, please help me on it.

Thanks for your useful answer. I am getting error message while creation of invoice. But problem is that it is throwing message for all invocie, need to consider if condition of 'GROSS_AMOUNT >= 1000 USD. During creation of invoice, it should throw msg 001 (YIMS) which I have configured as my exception in IMS when fulfills the condition.
I am sending code for 'CHANGE' and "CHECK' BADI.
Can you check and suggest the correction? Where I need to put this conditon for pop up of error while gross_amount >= 1000 while creation and change of invoice??

Hello, I am having a very hard time attempting to install Office 2010 Pro Plus on a system. The error message that I receive is as follows:
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.
I have tried running the Microsoft FixIt tool to remove any traces of Office 2007 and Office 2010. Also, I have followed the instructions in
KB928218 to manually uninstall any traces of Office 2007.
I believe the user had both Office 2007 and Office 2010 installed previously. There is no article to remove all traces of Office 2010.
Here is some additional output from the Setup log:

SCCM 2012 - Deploying Office 2013 Application - Setup Errors

dear SCCM admins,
i am trying to test deploying office 2013 to users in my company. i made the application and deployments. the application appeared in the software center and in the application catalog.
The problem is whenever a user "which is not a local administrator" tries to install this application, it gives me the setup errors message saying "You must have administrative privileges to install or uninstall this
product."
Is there any specific configuration to make to overcome this behavior???

As you can see from the screenshot you need to add the ProductID after the uninstall command.
