WRT1900AC 5.0 and 2.4 devices cannot communicate between bands

Hello, I just purchased this router. I cannot get devices on either band to talk to each other. Is there a work around for this issue that the community is aware of? or an ETA on a firmware patch? Thanks,Jeremy

The 2.4 to 5 i an old bug.  And yes, we are still waiting on patch. I doc it here: WRT1900ac Defects Issues and Other  back in July 19th.  There is something you can try to fix it.  From that thread on Aug 8th I noted the following:====Been testing this for the last hour.  Everyone is asleep so I can do what I want...      http://<wrt1900ac>/ui/1.0.99.161917//dynamic/advanced-wireless.html Those two AP Isolution (one on 2.4GHz and one 5GHz tabs)  seem work together in a XOR and Toggle pattern.  There are appears to be 8 states, not just 4.   What state the option was before affects how it work now.  The defualt presenting state is 2.4 and 5 both are not checked.  For me that means the 2.4 cannot "talk" to 5 and vis-a-visa. Toggle on AP Isolation on the 2.4 can ping iphone on 5, from desktop on 2.4.Toggle it off, cannot talk to 5.Toggle it on again, still cannot talk to 5Toggle it off again still cannot talk to 5Toggle it on on 5, still cannnot talkToggle it off on 5, still cannot talkToggle it on on 2.4, working again.Toggle it on on 5, stops takingToggle it off on 5, still not talkingToggle it off on 2.4, still not talkingToggle it on on 2.4, working again.==== You can try doing the above, Return it, or try McWRT.
