WRT310N Completely stopped working.

Hi,
I have a WRT 310N Cisco router and it has completely stopped working. I cannot connect via Ethernet or Wireless with it, I bought this router a little over a year ago and it hasnt worked in about 5 months. I recently went out to buy another router and it is starting to act up. Just my luck with routers I guess, but so far the WRT 310N had the BEST signal and the best speeds then any router I have used and would really appreciate anyone who helps me get this working.
I have tried resetting the router for 30 seconds to 1 minute and no luck. Besides doing that I have no other idea on what I could possibly do since i cannot connect to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 as my computers ( i have tired 3 computers and 1 laptop) and nothing can connect. At this point I do believe it is hardware but I'm praying its not as I think it is out of warrenty at this point.
Does anyone have any suggestions I'll try anything and everything to get this to work.

Disconnect all the cables from Linksys router.
Connect a computer to the Ethernet port 1 on Linksys router. Connect the power cable to the router. Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait for 30 seconds. Power cycle the router.
Now check the IP address on your computer.
If you are getting a valid IP address like 192.168.1.xxx then try to ping the IP address of the router 192.168.1.1 . If you get replies from the router IP address then try to access the setup page of the router.
If you are getting auto configuration IP address then assign a static IP address to the computer and then try to access the setup page of the router.
What IP address do you get when you connect the computer to the router?

    I wouldn't expect a projector to affect the trackpad like that. Possibly if you go into System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Mouse & Trackpad and uncheck Ignore trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present.

    I had to create a new workspace and project, then copy all my code into the new application.  I was able to import my skins, scripts and assets into the new workspace.  I should have remembered this because it happened before.  I was able to search Google for some hints on how to solve this issue.

    Repeated execution of the "determining gapless playback information" process may also be a symptom of corruption in your iTunes Library.itl file (the main iTunes database).  If you have a recent backup it may be worth restoring that (especially if it immediately precedes addition of the skipping files).  However, the two symptoms you are seeing may be interrelated, i.e., the "determining gapless playback information" repetition and the skipping music may both be caused by incomplete or corrupt media files.  If possible, find and (re)move all the media files - you should be able to do a date-based search in Windows Explorer - and try restarting iTunes.  Of course, you should backup your library first so that it can be restored if the media files are OK.

    I have a Satellite A130/135 laptop that completely stopped working. During use it turned off and became completely unresponsive. Even the lights that show that the laptop is charging/plugged in wont light.

    I think its really not easy to say what the problem could be
    I can only suggest
    According to your message nothing appears on the screen not even if you would try to boot from the recovery disk or other bootable disks. Is it right?
    You could try one procedure;
    - Remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor from the notebook
    - Wait several minutes (~30min)
    - try to boot up the machine
    Check it out but if you will be not successful then an hardware malfunction might be the reason for your issue and you should ask the local ASP for the help!

    I have been using reader for more years than I can remember. I use it
    all day, every day - there is almost never a time when Reader is
    absent from my desktop.
    BUT... Today Adobe Reader completely stopped working.  I was using it
    quite happily this morning, on a PDF which I have opened dozens or
    even hundreds of times.  I needed to switch to another document - when
    I tried to open it, (or one of about 100 others I have also opened
    many times), I saw nothing appear on the screen, the cursor switched
    to pointer/busy, and then cleared after about 5 seconds.  The only
    indication that anything happened was a blind ACRORD32.exe process in
    the task list.    I rebooted - same result. I uninstalled Reader and
    reinstalled it from the Adobe download site.  Same result.  Reader is
    simply no longer functioning in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER. This now happens
    EVERY time.

    You can try using this tool to remove all traces of previous version(s) of Reader:

  • How do i fix my home button it has completely stopped working after i dropped it and now its frozen on the apple screen?

    so yesterday i dropped my iphone and the home key stopped working. i had to turn the phone completely off to change screens and get back to the home page. today i turned it off to get back to the home screen and now it is frozen on the apple screen. its been like this for about an hour or so. i plugged it into the computer and it still hasnt done anything. i try to reset it but of course since the home button isnt working it wont allow me to do so.
    does anyone know what to do besides taking it to apple?

    You can try the steps recommended in the User Guide.  If they don't work bring your phone into Apple for evaluation.

  • Router (WRT310N) Just stops working...

    Well I play Halo and whenever I host a server, there's usually no issue with the lag or anything, but usually after I restart a game, maybe 10 minutes into the new game the router just stops working completely... It's still on but is not connecting to the internet or anything, it doesn't work until I shut it off and put it back on..
    Can someone help me with my problem?

    I guess you should try to upgrade/flash your router's firmware...
    Download Firmware 3.23 MB...
    Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
    Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
    In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
    Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
    Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful"  After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
    Now reset your router :
    Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
    See if this fixes your problem...

    My Iphone has been doing this a lot lately. The touchscreem will just completely quit working, the buttons work but not the screen. Its very frusterating because I cant even use it. I also have hard restarted it many times but it does no good. Apple support needs the ime code or whatever but I cant even access that.

  • Automatic address completion stops working after upgrade

    I recently upgraded a PowerBook G4 to Leopard. It was actually a clean, ground-up install. I configured Mail to connect to Apple's server, and all the mail was downloaded as expected.
    Just one problem - the autocomplete feature for addressing mail seems to include only addresses entered since the upgrade. Is there any way to get it to scan the complete list of e-mail to populate the previously used addresses? By the way, the auto complete feature IS enabled in preferences, and it DOES work with addresses that have been used since the upgrade.

    Thanks for the response - I can't argue with you regarding the possibility of cramming the recent addresses list with crap.
    To answer your question, it does populate from AB and from recent addresses added since the reinstall, it is the less recent but still relevant addresses that I'm trying to get.
    The situation is that this is my elderly mother's computer, and she has grown accustomed to using the automatic completion feature (accustomed meaning dependent upon). The upgrade turned into a clean install unintentionally, and the question is how can we repopulate.
    Ideally, there would be some way to tell Mail to scan the "Sent" mailbox for recent addresses to populate from. If I have to essentially go through her sent box and make AB contacts out of the addresses, I'll do it, but I'm really hoping there is an automated approach.
