[WRT350N] NAT is Moderate, how can it be Open?

Question

For Halo 3 it seems that the NAT really should be open rather than Moderate or Strict. I've forwarded the ports asked by xbox live (88 UDP and 3074 TCP/UDP) and I've even tried adding it to the DMZ, but no joy.
The NAT reports as "Moderate" when XBL calls for Open for best compatibility. Is there a way to change this so that it will be Open rather than Moderate?

Okay, so....
1.) On your Xbox go into Network settings and assign it a static IP to use (192.168.1.12 was mine).
2.) Go to your Router Control Panel (192.168.1.1 no user, pass: admin)
3.) On the initial page there is a button in the DHCP section called "Reserved DHCP" or something like that. Click it.
4.) Using the MAC address of your Xbox (once again, in the wireless settings) assign the IP address you used in #1 to the MAC address of your Xbox. Then save it.
5.) Now in the Router Admin click the "Applications / Gaming" link
6.) Now forward the ports used by Xbox Live to the IP address of the Xbox. (88 and 3074)
7.) Save.
8.) Now there should be a "sub"-menu link called "DMZ". Click it.
9.) Enable the DMZ and make it forward to your Xbox.
10.) Save.
That's it!!
Edit: Not sure if all of that is required, but it works for me I'll do some testing tonight to see what configuration works with the least amount of labor, i.e. with(out) the DMZ.
