WRT400N mobile phone issues

hello!  I seem to have an odd issue with my router....Setup went through fine, I have it broadcasting a G and N network.  The N network is awesome, the G is also running smoothly with all devices...EXCEPT mobile phones.  My computers and Xbox run great off the wireless G...anytime a mobile phone connects it give it service for like 30 sec- 2 minutes maybe then drops it.  The phone stays connected but says no internet service.  You have to disable wifi on the device and reconnect it again to get another 30 sec of service before it repeats.  I thought it was my device...but anyone with a mobile phone experiences the same.  Is there some setting I can play with to remedy this?
BTW it does have the latest firmware.  Thanks for any input!!

This "maybe" a bug. Can you try it using iphone?
Try refalshing the firmware and then the 30-30-30 reset rule.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift.

    Hi,
I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I had with your product. My brother  bought one iPhone 4, 16 gb mobile phone from US last year and gifted me in India. In few months it had a problem with its home key. I took the phone to service service center and they told me that your phone is having hardware problem and as the phone is under warranty cannot be replace in India. You can come back when this is out of warranty. Now few days back when i walk again to the service center they stated that this phone we cannot repair here in India because of this phone purchased from US.
This a total disgraceful service from such a big brand like apple.
I hope to hear back from you about this incident.
    Sincerely,
    Niranjan
    <Personal Information Edited by Host>

No iPhone has a international warranty. Warranty is valid only in
country of original purchase. Since iPhone was bought in the US,
you must return the iPhone to the US. That means you must personally bring
the iPhone to Apple in the US or send it to a friend/relative in the US for them
to take to Apple. After replacement, your friend can ship it back to you. Shipping
and insurance costs are your responsibility.
Apple does not accept international shipments for evaluation/repair
and will not ship replacements out of the country.

  • 8961 phone having issue receiving and calling mobile phone

Ext XXX is having issue receiving and calling mobile phone. It stated that 'Download Status -Failed' attached is the screenshot of the error in Cisco Unified CM Administration. Any idea where to look into?
If i want to grab the log, should be from Trace & Log Central under CUCM?

Phone goes "offline" for about 7-10 minutes at a time (every couple of hours) usually in the afternoon (near ~60% charge).
In an office most of the day with coverage going from 4 bars to 0 bars every few minutes or so.  I never miss or drop a call though given the appearance of erattic signal. RSSI usually -83.  EvDO and 1x will flicker on and off througout the day.  WiFi is on all the time with WPA2.  Bluetooth is on without anything connected.  I will sometimes get the issue if I wander out of WiFi range (out for lunch)
Reseting the phone will clear the problem.  Toggling the Airplane, WiFi, and Bluetooth on/off dont clear the problem.
    I have:
    - Exchange calendar setup with owa.mailseat.com (I believe they have Exchange 2003)
    - Google standard calendar (personal)
    - Google standard shared calendar (wifes)
My wife has a Pre as well and to my knowledge has never had the phone offline problem. (I would certainly hear about it if she did )
    She has:
    - Google standard calendar (personal)
    - Google standard shared calendar (mine)
    * No exchage setup.

  • Can not see the contacts in E63 mobile phone

    Hi,
I amusing E63 mobile phone. I am not been able to view the contacts in the mobile, so not been able to use the same. But when an incoming call comes in I do get the name resolution of the person calling and his mobile no which is stored in the contacts.
I tried backing up the mobile and all the time the backup of contacts could not happened and besides Contacts rest all is backed up....
Pls do let me know how to resolve this issue..
    Thanks in advance...

    Hey  kartik_sh
Welcome to the forum, your contacts are on the sim card and they will need to be either copied to Contacts on your phone for easy access.
It is not clear from your description what could be causing this issue, so I will present a couple of possibilities. The first is that the contacts that you cannot see are stored on the SIM card and not in the phone memory, to remedy this you can follow these steps to copy your contacts into the phone memory:
    Menu>Communic.>Contacts>Options>SIM contacts>SIM directory>Options>Mark/Unmark>Mark all>Options>Copy to Contacts
If this is not the case, and if after selecting Contacts you see the options Go Online and ChatServiceBuddy, it means that the ”Ovi Contacts Chat” service is selected as the default view. This service has been discontinued and replaced by Nokia’s new Chat service powered by Yahoo. You can set your default Contacts view back to the contact information stored in your phone by following these steps:
    •Select Menu>Communic.>Contacts
•Press the left navigation key to select the central field at the top of the screen, then press the centre of the navigation key to open the menu, and finally select Phone
•You should now see the contacts stored in phone memory. To make this the default view, select Options>Settings>Default contact list>Phone
If you are interested in the new Chat application, you can switch the Contacts view back to the Ovi Contacts view, select Go Online and sign in with the same user identity and password that you use to log into this forum. Your phone would then remind you that Ovi Contacts Chat is discontinued and take you through the steps to download and install the new Chat application. We would recommend that you use a WLAN connection for this.
If the two suggestions above do not resolve your issue, we can investigate further.
Out of interest, when you say that creating a back-up did not successfully back-up contacts, do you mean that you created the back-up with Nokia Suite and the report displayed at the end of the process indicated an error? If there was no error during the back-up process, it is likely that the back-up was successful and we still need to work out whý the information is not appearing in your phone.
Let me know if it works
    Kind regards
    Carl

  • How do I use Active Sync to view SharePoint Lists (Contacts and Calendars) on a Mobile Phone?

We are attempting to use SharePoint 2010 in combination with Exchange 2010 to implement shared calendars and contact lists throughout our organization.  We are able to connect the lists to Outlook 2010, but have been unsuccessful in viewing
the calendars and contact lists from our mobile phones.  How do we use Active Sync to view SharePoint Lists (Contacts and Calendars) on a Mobile Phone?
In trying to answer this question, we have come across a few different possibilities, all of them falling just short of a long term solution for us.  After doing research, we found that Active Sync will only show the default folders of the account.  To
solve this, we downloaded an Add-In for Outlook (CodeTwo FolderSync) to synchronize folders and synchronized our SharePoint list with a new Contact list in the default folder.  The issue we came across with this method is that the Add-In we are using
is not capable of automatic synchronization.  There is a button and it must be clicked after every update is made, which is not ideal for our solution.  We then went to the company (CodeTwo) and found server side software (Exchange Sync) that they
offer which will automatically synchronize the folders.  After installing that on the Exchange Server, we now are running into the issue of not being able to locate the SharePoint lists on the Exchange Server.
Does anyone happen to know how we can get to the SharePoint lists from the Exchange Server?  Has anyone else been able to use shared contacts lists and calendars from SharePoint on their mobile phones using Active Sync?  If so, are we in the right
direction with what we have found so far?
    Thanks,
    Brad

You cannot use ActiveSync for that, but there are SharePoint clients for the iPhone. Windows Mobile 7 natively supports SharePoint with SharePoint Workspace Mobile, part of Microsoft Office Mobile. Android and BlackBerry might also have some apps.

  • Print from mobile phone

How can i print from my smart phone.  App already installed and computer is on

    Hi atubens,
Depending on what mobile phone and what printer you have, the solution could differ.
If you have an ePrint capable printer, universally you could email a print job to the printer's ePrint address.
If you have the HP ePrint Home and Biz app, you can print photos, documents and from the web over the local wireless network from within the mobile app.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!
Although I work for HP, my posts and replies are my own opinion and not those of HP.

  • Can't get Exchange to work on mobile phones

    Hello everyone,
We have a self-signed certificate deployed via group policy from our domain controller to domain users. We are using Exchange 2013. Via the way I just stated, users can access email in Outlook 2010 on the domain. However, we run into problems when trying
to add the accounts on mobile phones. On an Android-based phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S4, we try to enter the settings manually via Exchange ActiveSync but it doesn't work.
I looked at this and followed the directions: https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/Set-up-email-on-an-Android-phone-or-tablet-886db551-8dfa-4fd5-b835-f8e532091872#__find_your_exchange
I logged into the Outlook Web App and looked at the POP settings and tried that server with SSL and it doesn't work. I tried that with the full email address as the username and just the username. Our domain is the prefix for both. The POP server and the
SMTP server are the same but POP has SSL and SMTP has TLS. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.
I looked at the Exchange server settings and it looks like mobile access is enabled for all. I didn't create any policies though.
    What do you guys think?

    Hi CharGP02A,
how does the error exactly look like? Any messages?
As a first step to check your configuration I suggest you con go to https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/ and run the test for ActiveSync. Please provide the result/error message.
If you had a certificate issue your Galaxy S4 usually comes up with a message that it cannot verify the certificate. If you did not get the message I think that is not your cause.
Also if you installed the cert paths certificates on your webserver, there is no need to install the certificate on the device. The webserver will deliver the certiuficates from the path. The only thing left on Android is that it may ask you because there
is a root cert that is not trusted (yes, I suggest to use some 3rd party CA).
A good point to start would be
--> check your ActiveSync externalURL using get-activesyncvirtualdirectory, https://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/library/hh529912%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
--> check your CAS mailbox status for the mailbox
--> run the test using testconnectivity.microsoft.com , so you will receive a clear description of errors.
    Regards,
    Martin
I just tried connecting my email account via POP3 and got "unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from the server." However, it pushed me to the next screen to put in more settings. I did that, got the
same error, and then it let me finish adding the account with no issues. My email inbox doesn't have any email in it only because we haven't converted the MX records from our hosting service to Exchange yet. So unfortunately I won't know if email truly works
    on the phone that way.
Regarding the ActiveSync part, I looked at our virtual directory for ActiveSync on Exchange 2013 EAC and the URL for that externally is https://web.domainname.net/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync. The tried the Exchange verifier site that you guys linked
and it won't let me run it with that URL due to characters. Web is a CNAME record on our DNS server and not a host record. Does that matter in this case? I tried it with just the web.domainname.net and it gave me
Host web.domainname.net couldn't be resolved in DNS InfoDomainNonexistent.

  • Error message: "the software required for communicating with Ipods and mobile phones was not installed correctly....

2 error messages when opening itunes: "The software required for communicating with Ipods and mobile phones was not installed correctly.  Do you want Itunes to repair this for you?"  When clicking yes another message indicates not able to remove services.  Another message is: "Service (ipod service) could not be installed.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system sources."  I've uninstalled all Apple services (itunes, quicktime, apple software update, apple mobiles devices support, bonjour and apple application support and reinstalled itunes/quicktime - no change in error messages.  I cannot burn CDs using Itunes.  This all seemed to happen when I updated itunes to version 10.  I have a Windows 7 64-bit operating system on a Dell Inspiron Zino HD; the Itunes software is also 64 bit.

  • I am trying to set up iCloud keychain, but it keeps sending the verification code to my land line, even tho I have gone into my apple account and changed to my mobile phone

I am trying to set up Icloud keychain, but it keeps sending the verification code to my land line (which I guess I entered back when I first got my MacBook).  I have gone into my apple account and changed the # to my mobile phone, but it continued to send it to the land line.  Probably is something simple, but I am not a techy!!

    Hi,
As regardss to the iChat and iChat Sharing categorisation you have used.
In iChat 6 (lion) and Messages (Mountain Lion) the apps login to AIM and to Me.com
The Login to Me.com allows AIM to verify the password to the iCloud issued names (@me.com and @iCloud.com)
This "Dual" login also prevents the newer iCloud issued name from using this site
(it has extra Privacy settings that iChat can't access for your AIM and Aim valid Accounts)
Ignoring the @mac.com and MobileMe entries in the Add Account Screen in iChat and using the AIM one does not get around this issue.
AIM and @mac.com names still work in older versions of iChat.
The short answer is that iCloud issued Apple IDs do not work in iChat 5 or Earlier.

  • International Call to a Mobile Phone

I just purchased a monthly subscription to S. Korea.  Can I call their mobile phone for free and can they also call me back for free?  I am using my laptop and he is using his mobile phone in S. Korea.

There are two monthly subscriptions landlines, and landlines and mobiles which one did you choose? If you chose the mobile you can call his mobile until your minutes run out. He should receive the call for free as is the case in most of the countries I have been to except the US. He cannot call you back for free. If he uses a Skype app on his phone and is on wifi he can call you skype to skype.  If he downloads skype on his computer you can talk skype to skype for free.

  • Will not print files from mobile phone says it **may have** a virus- and deletes the file

My HP photosmart premium with wireless ePrint, will not print files from mobile phone says it **may have** a virus- and deletes the file?!? My Fiance has the same phone, and I used it. It completed the file??? If I text message and E-mail address, my cell phone will come up as and E-mail address... has anyone else had this issue? Is it because I texted the the file? It didn't seem to be and issue on any of the other mobile phones used.... I am out of answers.... I tried to E-mail as well...
    Thanks in advance

I have nearly the same problem, the printer discards my print job even when i have entered my email address as authorised senders.
    Details from my other post:
I sent 2 emails to the printer:
    - one is a 3 lines of text and numbers in a GIF file sent as an attachment
    - another is a jpg circuit diagram paste in a word doc sent as an attachment
both are classified as spam and refused to print. i have no email coming back saying it failed (even i have checked "Email Job Status" in ePrint Settings.
So what will this HP printer print?
How can I switch this useless spam filter off?
I have get this filter off! I need this email printing to work reliably, that is a major reason I bought this printer
    Any suggestions are welcomed...
    HP's slogan on the box:
"Now you can print from virtually anywhere" (but get discarded every single time!)

  • Slideshow images will not display correctly on mobile phone

    Hello,
I have a website which I used several slideshows, in areas I would typically just used a rectangle and fill with photo.  This was done because my client wants to be able to update the images through business catalyst.  Unfortunately, when viewed on a mobile phone (I am using iOS 7) the slide show images do not display correctly.
What can be done to fix this?  Is there another workaround I should try?
    Thanks!

    Hi Nicole
The images that you are using on parties page are stretched , if you check the image frame you can see that.
As a result the image frame is stretched over the side image , they are not showing properly. If you resize from Muse end , then also it would not be fixed because Muse remembers the image size as you have inserted and when viewed , Muse stretches the image to original size as how it was inserted.
Please resize the images outside Muse , use any image editor like Photoshop and then use the exact dimension of the image frame on page.
    This would resolve the issue.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Unified Mobility, no audio on Send call to Mobile Phone

I'm using UCM 9.1 with Unified Mobility (xfer to alternate number) with good success if I follow a typical call flow:
Inbound call -> Ext -> Rings deskphone x seconds -> Rings mobile phone -> Answer mobile phone -> hangup -> Resume call on desk phone.
But if I pick up a call on my desk phone, and use the Mobility button to xfer a call to my mobile phone I get no audio:
Inbound call -> Ext -> Pickup desk phone -> Mobility soft button, 'Send call to Mobile Phone' -> Answer mobile phone, no audio -> Hang up mobile phone -> Resume call on desk phone (two-way audio).
Device wise the call flow is:
ITSP SIP trunk -> CUBE -> CUCM -> 7965 IP Phone.
Recently I reconfigured CUCM to use the CUBE for any MTP resources instead of the software option and I think I may have missed something.
    CUBE config:

Not sure where to start troubleshooting this problem, any help is appreciated.
    Steve

Thanks for the help gents. I couldn't get to this until we're out of office hours on the weekend.
Interestingly, I have no mid-call option in my dial-peers. This is a 2951 running 15.2(4)M2.
I double checked the MRGL, my phone is associated with it.
Codec is G711 on ITSP side, and on phones - I'm not sure I fully understand the use cases for MTP, this is something I need to research more.
I've included two ccsip message debugs, the first one is the existing issue of no audio (in either direction).
The second I've changed the midcall-signaling passthru option, dropping the media-change bit and we get audio in both directions for mobility except we use Unity call handlers for IVR functionality, and now when an inbound caller is forwarded to an extension we get no audio - obviously this is a game stopper.
In Unity I have the port group configured as SCCP - Maybe I should be using SIP instead?
    No Audio:
    voice service voip
    sip
      midcall-signaling passthru media-change
      early-offer forced
      no call service stop
      registration passthrough
