WRT54G Problem Update - Please help!!

I'm having problems again but this time I have an error msg in Vista that might help someone troubleshoot the problem with me (I know what the msg means but not sure why it is happenning). It reads:
"The IP address lease 192.168.1.100 for the Network Card with network address 00E0B8E6ABCA has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).
Now I know that the DHCP server is my router, and I also know that the network card it is talking about that is being denied the network address is the card on my desktop. What I don't understand is first the lease time on that particular card still has like 2 days left on it, second, why is it that all I have to do is unplug the router then plug it back in and then everything is fine? After I plug it back in, I can go to the router setup page and see that it has assigned the very same address of 192.168.1.100 to the very card it has just denied the address to (or so the error msg in Vista says). Oh, the only part I have no information on is the DHCPNACK message. I have no idea what that is or where to find it/troubleshoot it. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone may be able to give me. Thanks in advance.
This is still the same problem I originally posted about. I updated it to include the error message from Vista.

Thanks Wizzard. I'll give that a shot and see what happens "in time". This problem only occurs once in a while, otherwise I'd be asking for help a lot more. At any rate, I appreciate the assistance. Oh, I'm assuming that this will work for any network card be it in a desktop or laptop. If I'm not correct, please let me know.

hello, i have had the wrt54gs for about 4 months and my internet has been perfect but about a few a days ago, when i play counter strike source online or anything else i get ridiculous lag and it not able to play (500-600 ping), i have not changed settings or anything. when i watch the network monitor it shows about 4-5 bars on signal strength and link quality but every like 30 seconds it says you are connected to the access point but the internet cannot be found then like 30 seconds later it goes back to normal.
i have upgraded the firmware of my router and linksys helped me change some of the settings on the router but nothing happened.
can you please help me

If it's working well all the while and only have the problem recently, then I guess it can be the problem on Internet connection link, or ISP side.
Try to connect your computer directly to the DSL/cable modem, then play the game, see anymore lagging..

iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server

Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Hi after updating online. Folio, I tried to update the trial version of the publication on my iPad but I get this message: "the issue isavailable for dowload, but new signing for an application version. Update the application from the App Store. "I went to the AppStore and was not any update of the Content Viewer ... I deleted the version on my iPad I downloaded again ... but without success gives me the same problem ... Please help me ... how can I do??

As discussed in numerous threads already, the new viewer has not been approved by Apple yet.
If you’re a pro or enterprise customer you can create your own viewer app. If not, you’ll have to wait or roll back to the older tools.

Getting trouble updating - please help!

The update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect.
The message above appears each time I try to update from the Creative Cloud panel. It starts to update and then fails.
From the Adobe Application Manager I ticked just one update - and that one worked. I can't get the Adobe Application Manager to come back up - how do I open it so that I can tick another individual update?
I've wasted a whole morning trying to fix this... not happy. The whole point of being part of the cloud was to get updated without hassle, this is ridiculous. I've noticed, from reading forums on the web, that loads of people are having the same problem. Please help me to make this update thingy run smoothly.

Just found out you can open the Adobe Application Manager from PS CC prog - just click: help /updates from the top menu. It seems I have to install one update at a time - from the Adobe Application Manager - BUT importantly, first quitting the Creative Cloud panel- as they seem to conflict. Sorry for the tone of the comment above - I didn't realise I was on a community forum, I thought I was asking Adobe directly.

It seems like due to some unknown reason permission from the Licensing folder is removed. Please try launching any of the apps by right clicking and select Run as an Administrator, it should fix the issue by doing that.

I just got back from the Apple Store for the second visit with the Mac Genius to try to resolve the problem.
First visit we trashed the iMovie 11 application and reinstalled iMovie and ran a software update. Upon relaunching we were pleased that all projects and events ran perfectly from both the HD and the Drobo.
After lugging my 27" iMac back home and restarting it the same problem appeared. I returned to the Apple store for a second visit. This time I left the iMac at the store overnight. The apple service guys were able to duplicate the problem and wiped my hard drive. There appears to be a bug with iMovie 11 (not confirmed) and an elevated report was submitted to Apple engineers.
I am leaving my "old" projects and events on the external drive unless I need to import them. I am not going to restore from back up and will use a "clean" version of iMovie11. No guarantees the problem won't come back. This issue consumed a TON of my time.... hopefully Apple can fix iMove11.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Did you download Windows Support Software when you started installing windows via Bootcamp. If yes you need to then install the Support Software after installing windows which contains Windows drivers for Mac hardware.

Honestly i cannot remember sorry, i got it like 5 maybe 6 yrs ago and just started downloading things to it as the memory on the computer started filling up and when i wanted to see photos/videos on my TV.
My wife did tell me after i had written this post that she did try and record TV to it as it was plugged in. I think by doing so somehow has deleted everything. It reads on my TV yet has no files in it but won't show up on my computer. hope this helps.

By far the most common problem hardware-wise seems to be scuffs on the aluminium. Yours is the first report of a faulty screen I've seen.
If you use the same Apple ID on both devices it'll sync whatever you want it to - music/apps/photos/messages/etc.
