WRT54G v3 is corrupted - webGUI setup page is corrupted after upgrading firmware

hello. I have a WRT54G version 3. I decided to upgrade to the latest Linksys firmware (4.21.1 as selected and downloaded from linksys website). I opened up the 192.168.1.1 WebGUI and installed the .bin file. It said it was a success, but when the page reloaded, this is what was left: http://i17.tinypic.com/72abuhh.jpg As you can see, I cannot open any page besides the "port foward" page - it is the only link visible. After trying to hard reset two or three times, the problem was still there (and existed with IE, Firefox, Opera and on two different computers) but I am able to get online. I tried the live chat and they told me to use the TFTP.exe fix loading the 4.21.1 firmware. It was a failure several times. I have reset/rebooted my router about a dozen times...changed my IP to static. Nothing works. Anyone know how to fix this? How can Linksys provide firmware that essentially ruins the router?

I tried the URL you posted and I got a picture of a Linksys router page.
When you enter the router's IP address in your browser - 192.168.1.1 - what happens? Are you prompted for a password?
By the way - are you using a hardwire connection to perform the update to the router?

WRT54GS v6 Bad Display of Setup Page on Browser

When I access the router setup page on my browser via 192.168.1.1, I get an improperly displayed page. No menu items are readable at the top. I only see clearly a limited amount of data with the IP address, configuration choice, etc. This makes the page unusable for making any changes. This is true using both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Has anyone else seen this problem?

You should use IE and lower your browser settings, delete cookies and cache... you can try a different computer on the network also... Some problems with zonealarm were reported here also a few days ago, you should always make sure all traffic from the router be allowed... since this is the 2nd router already it would be a longshot to think that it is a router problem... ayt?!

Itunes 'corrupt' after upgrading to current version?

I have macbook, running snow leopard 10.6.8. This weekend I responded to the prompt to update Itunes to the newest version. After upgrading, I got the message that Itunes was corrupt (and it would not open or run). After searching for answers (including trying to update it again), I finally went through the process of deleting the corrupt Itunes.
Then I have attempted to download the latest Itunes from the Apple site; when I click 'download' I am taken immediately to the 'thank you for downloading Itunes' page, but nothing ever downloads.....
Any help/input would be most appreciated.

Thanks but ITunes is gone (deleted corrupt version), and would not open before I deleted it. I had previously tried Yiur suggestion, then iTunes wouldn't even open after that.

Pages Fonts Broken After Upgrade (10.5.7)

Not sure what happened, but the spacing of the default font hints at a broken font.
And when Opening up documents sent to me (.doc, .docx etc.) font style and spacing is broken and not like before the upgrade.

This is weird, but i have a feeling it's beyond Pages, but I don't have issue in email, and other apps I'm working with at this point. It's only revealing itself in Pages and Numbers in iWork?
Any thoughts on why or what's causing this?

Well in the image i share here, it's Myriad Pro; others are helvetica. I had some errors with some fonts and delted them in Font Book, but not helvetica nor Myriad.
Looking deeper said Myriad had duplicates. Couldn't find them myself. When I resolved automatically it simply turned the fonts off, nothing changed in the document which I'm sharing here.
Thing is, this just started happening since the upgrade. So while digging into fonts is certainly prudent and perhaps the point 7 upgrade might have addresed fonts, I'm not so sure or willing to accept that notion.
Seems deeper and boy this is annoying. I so used to love pages and now all my docuemtns I open are corrupted. Waste.
ps. the scribbles on the image are not the result of Pages nor the font issue, just obscuring the doucemtn for those inclined to decode.

Can't get past home page of instructables after upgrading to firefox 13

I can load the home page, but if i click on anything past it, it acts like it continually loads, nothing comes up on the page, it sticks at "Transferring data from www.instructables.com..." or "Read www.instructables.com" it seems to only have happened after upgrading to firefox 13. I have an old version of firefox aurora that came with the tor browser suite and tried instructables on there. worked perfect, and i was going to instructables on a regular basis before the update, so it's gotta be from the update right? what can i do to fix it?
P.S. It's not just the specific URL under "URL of affected site" because none of the pages will load after the home page.

did that solve the issue? i still believe it has more likely to do something with faulty cache (maybe the restart of the browser really triggered it );
if it was an issue with dns prefetching it would be rather strage since you already were on the domain instructables.com & wouldn't have had to resolve the domain for the subsites again. and since the server, your isp or your local hardware might not support ipv6 fully yet, it can always cause some glitches too...

Uploaded Image gets corrupted after upgrading jre from 1.3.0_02 to 1.3.1_15

We were running jre 1.3.0_02. The image upload functionality was working fine with this version. But after upgrading to jre1.3.1_15, the uploaded image shows correct file size but it gets corrupted.
Please help.

I found that the problem with encoding. If wrote a sample application which read gif file and print the value.

when I run this program on jre1.3.0_02 get value of file.encoding as 8859_1 and on running same application on jre1.3.1_15 I get encoding value ANSI_X3.4-196

Blank page with advertisement after upgrading to IOS 6 !!!

I am using my IPAD2 in China. After upgrading to IOS 6, I frequently get a blank page having a message "success" and a Chinese advertisement. I have to touch the "Done" button on the top right corner to get it out. Is it that IOS 6 have been hacked by China's service providers to force advertisements into IOS 6 ?

Thanks. It does not stop the advertisement from coming in. The advertisement still pops up now and then. It seems that China's service providers have successfully hacked into IOS 6. Maybe there is a flaw in IOS 6.

Admin account corrupted after upgrade to OSX 10.7.1

It seems like my admin account has been corrupted either during upgrade to OSX 10.7.1
It has not been possible to upgrade to OSX 10.7.2 nor has it been possible to upgrade iTunes to update my iPhone.
Creating a new admin account both has been possible. But I'd like to keep my original account since I have been using this for quite some time now and starting from the scratch would be a major drawback.
Removing admin accounts, rebooting, granting admin rights and rebooting didn't solve the issue.
Does anyone have some idea how I can get my account to work again?

I'm having the same issues Lucio- I have a MacBook Pro, 15", 2.5 Ghz, Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 4GB, and after upgrading to 10.7.2, my CPU runs over 180°F consistantly- way too hot.
And all I'm running is Safari with a window or two open. I don't get it.
I hope Apple has a solution for this soon- I'm beginning to see cracks in my LCD screen on the left side, and worried my hard drive will crash or internal sections will melt under the heat.

List forms corrupted after upgrade to 2013

We upgraded from SharePoint 2010 to 2013. Most list forms, the ones from out of the box lists were corrupted so when we click on Add New Item or View Item we get an error. Sometimes it says list does not exist, sometimes it says "web parts page error"
and so on. Also all customized list forms got corrupted as well.
I need to know if there is a fix for that because when we tried to revert to the original default we did not find those forms in the report. We tried to revert the list views to the default but that also didn't work.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Do you have SharePoint Designer 2013 installed on client machines? if so, open target list delete non-working forms and use good ones from another list.
Steps in brief..
In SPD at site level > Access List and Libraries > Select Problem list > delete existing 'NewForm.aspx'
In SPD at site level > Access List and Libraries > Select Problem list > Add
Form> Select Action 'New Items' > Set this form as Default> 'Type a new
name 'NewForms''.aspx> Apply changes.

BW FICA extract structures corrupted after upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6

Hi All. After the upgrade an include (FKKBWP) in the extract structure FKKOPBW_BASIC contained a field belonging to the APPEND structure ZAFKKOPBW_BASIC (originating from enhancing the configured structure). Also ZAFKKOPBW_BASIC is not visible in FKKOPBW_BASIC anymore, although when checking/activating the structure it complains about duplicate fields, which can only happen if ZAFKKOPBW_BASIC is still referenced. Furthermore, some new includes have also appeared in the extract, amongst others FKKOPBW_EVOLVED.
I have not been able to find any documentation regarding this. Two different systems were upgraded and the structures were corrupted in both systems in the same way, so this is not a fluke.
The application dumps when one tries to access it via SBIW->Settings for Application-Specific DataSources->Contract accounts receivable->Define Fields for the Extraction of Open Items, because the config and structures do not match.
All of this also applies to the Cleared Items as well.
Has anybody encountered this or can somebody point me to some documentation referering to this problem?

How do I stop the "Your Firefox is up to Date" page from loading after upgrading to ver. 6.0?

I upgraded from Firefox 3 point something or other (if I could remember exactly, I'd tell you) about 2 weeks ago to version 6.0. Thereafter, Firefox always starts up with two pages; one is a page declaring "Your Firefox is up to Date" and, on another tab, the default home page for Firefox. (the Google one)
It has continued to do that ever since, and I cannot find a way to stop the "Your Firefox is up to Date" page from loading at start-up.
I'm running a pc with WinXP Professional w/Service pak 3.

A suggestion for stopping the "Your Firefox is up to Date" page from loading at startup.
Use MozBackup for this; get it at http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/.

Download MozBackup and read through the howtogeek tutorial.
Exit Firefox.
Open MozBackup and start the procedure.
Follow the procedure except for a part where you RESTORE the profile; in the Components selection window in MozBackup, UNCHECK the "General settings" box (you remember the General tab in the Tools/Options window in Firefox where your homepage info is kept?)
Continue with the procedure to the end.
When you re-open Firefox, you should be getting the Google homepage without the "Your Firefox is up to Date" page.
Go to Tools/Options/Privacy tab. If it looks different than what it used to, ie: you used to have the option to not accept cookies, etc and now you don't, open the drop-down menu in the Hisory portion there and click on "Use custom settings for history", which will provide options for more control.

Pages Icon changed after upgrade

I recently upgraded from iWork 08 to iWork09. In the upgrade all of my Pages documents now have the Keynote icon. Keynote documents retained their own icon as did the Numbers documents. How do I get the Pages Icon back on all my Pages documents with out having to correct each one?

If Peter advise doesn't work you can try to tell the computer that .pages documents should be connected with Pages. In Finder select a pages doc and press cmd + I (get info) > Open with: > select Pages. Also Press button Change all. Now should pages find its documents

WPC page styles lost after upgrade to SP15

Hi experts,
I had created few web sites and pages with WPC SP 13.
But after i upgraded to WPC SP15, all the previous styles of SP13 were changed.
I would like to retrieve the styles of SP13.
Is there any way to achieve this? I do have a back up copy of the folder wpceditor. But I tried replacing the current folder with this old one. Even then, the previous styles are not available.
Can anyone help me ?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Problems related to Pages 14, .doc, after upgrading to Yosemite

Using Pages 14 and running Yosemite, but many of my files are in Word for Mac.
When I open a .doc document in landscape mode it shows up as portrait and no way to change it. (If I copy/paste it into a new PAGES document all is well ... but that seems like an extra step or two I shouldn't have to take).
Also I cannot print any files from Word for Mac since I upgraded to Yosemite. If I open them in Pages I can print from there.
Ideas?

Importing a page giving errors after upgrade to APEX 4.2.3

Good afternoon
We upgraded from APEX 4.2.1. Now we cannot import a page get error:
Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-20001: Error creating page name="Dashboard" id="56" ORA-02291: integrity constraint (APEX_040200.WWV_FLOW_STEP_UI_FK) violated - parent key not found
Is there anybody that found a workaround?
