Wrt54g v3 vs. v5: any difference?

I have two linksys wrt54g routers - I now only need one and so plan to sell one of them. One is V3 the other is V5. Just wondering if there is a difference? Reason is: I am currently using the V3 which has a somewhat more complicated setup to allow for remote access to work, and so if there is no advantage to swapping it out with the V5, I'd rather just leave it alone. Thanks for any help!

The version 5.0 has a slower CPU, less RAM, and a smaller flash memory chip than the version 3.0.
If I were you, I would keep the WRT54G v 3.

    Hi,.
    Both MDBT & SM37 are having same program (SAPLBTCH) . MDBT is <b>Foreground</b> job as well as <b>Background job.</b>
    SM37 is only for <b>Background job</b> only.
    Pls let me know any further clarification.

  • Any difference between distinct and aggregate function in sql query cost???

    Hi,
    I have executed many sql stmts patterns- such as:
    a) using a single table
    b) using two tables, using simple joins or outer joins
    but i have not noticed any difference in sql stmts in cost and in execution plan....
    Anyway, my colleague insists on that using aggregate function is less costly compared to
    distinct....(something i have not confirmed, that's why i beleive that they are exactly the same...)
    For the above reffered 1st sql pattern.. we could for example use
    select distinct deptno
    from emp
    select count(*), deptno
    from emp
    group by deptno select distinct owner, object_type from all_objects
    select count(*), owner, object_type from all_objects
    group by owner, object_typeHave you found any difference between the two ever...????
    Note: I use Ora DB 10g v2.
    Thank you,
    Sim

    distinct and aggregate function are for different uses and may give same result but if u r using aggregate function to get distinct records, it will be expensive...

  • Photo vs Video editing Monitors. Any difference?

    Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new monitor, primarily for stills editing, but I want to make sure it's not just capable of, but GOOD for video editing/grading too (I'm new to it, but definitely plan to do a lot of it).
    I'm looking at either an NEC or EIZO Monitor - 27" (Maybe 24"), but I haven't decided which one yet. This is primarily because they are the best screens for stills. If that doesn't hold true for video, please let me know what other brands/models I should look at.
    Are there any differences between a good stills and a good video editing screen? What should I be on the lookout for?
    I'm guessing response time would be one factor? The monitors I'm looking at seem to be about 6ms, although some are at around 8ms. (But I know there are 2ms monitors out there). Is that a major concern?
    Anything else?
    Cheers!
    Ben

    Haha, of course not.The full benefits? Look no further than LG 105" 5K TV
    That is one heck of a TV. We are not that far from having the entire wall be a TV screen. It will most likely happen in my lifetime. It will certainly change the way houses are built, I imagine.
    I was wondering if there's any use in a 1080p screen on my 5" Nexus 5, or in Retina displays on 15" MBPs.
    That is kind of my point. I carry a smartphone with a 1920X1080 screen, and I seriously doubt that I would notice if it was replaced by a 1280X720 screen. After all, I don't hold it up to my eyes. On the other hand, there are times when I feel like doing that when I am watching software tutorials. But my eyes can't focus that close, so what is the point in such a high pixel count screen?
    At 15" it might make a difference though.
    My current 2560x1600 30-incher that I've been using for 5+ years was a huge step up from 1920x1200 24-inchers, and I expect 4K, even in a smaller form factor, would be a boon to use and work with.
    I can see the point in a 2560X1600 for photography, even though I would have trouble justifying the cost. If I continue with photography in a more professional vein, I might have to consider something with a very high resolution. It might be a couple of years or more before I upgrade from my camera that can shoot 5 frames per second for quite a while, to one that shoots 24 frames per second indefinitely. We are really close and those CinemaRAW cameras are pretty exciting.
    My question remains. You went from 24" to 30" when you went to the higher pixel count. Would it have been better even on a 24" screen? Perhaps. But how much better? We still need a good bang for our buck. Right? It has to be enough better to make it worth the money. How much better is certainly an individual thing with every user.
    So, I imagine that 4K on a 42" or so might make a huge amount of sense, but until these old eyes see 4K on a 28" screen, I won't know if it is right for me.

    My primary system runs Windows 7 Pro 64 bit system. My other system runs a 32 bit system.  I would like to buy Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. Is there any difference with running it on either systems? Or will one version work on both the 64 bit and 32 bit systems.

    It would work on both systems, but you no longer can buy Acrobat 9...

  • Is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5?

    Hello,
    Customer has a CUCM 6.1.5 cluster which is getting upgraded to 7.1.5. currently the CUCM CDR is sent to a external system (performix) which generates required reports. I would like to know if there is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5/ its vital to confirm this prior to upgrade as the performix is managed by a different vendor.
    Please advise !
    Shahid

    You can review the CDR documentation here to find that out, most likely there might be some changes

  • Is there any difference viewer software for reports??

    Hi,
    Is there any difference viewer software for viewing differences between two oracle reports??
    Thanks for ur suggestions!
    Madhu

    Any version control software, like CVS, allows for line-to-line comparison of different versions of the same file. The problem with reports is that to understand differences you need to save the reports in human readable format that can be REX-file.

  • JSF datatable - any difference with JSF 1.1 and JSF 1.2

    Hi All,
    In my project there are lot of Datatables, which retrieve data from the database and display it to the user. For each datatable, the columns are not fixed. I want to create some kind of component that can be reusable.
    It is basically a JSF portlet. Now i have to use RAD 6. RAD 6 supports only JSF1.1. I have to migrate this to RAD7 in the near future. Are there any differences between the Datatable in JSF 1.1 and JSF 1.2?
    I had this approach in mind.
    a) Create the datatable programmatically and put the contents to panelgrid. This way the jsp code will be minimized. Is it a good option.? Are the APIs same in both the versions?
    b) Is it possible to create a custom datatable which can take some key as input. Then based on the key the datatable can be populated with as many columns as desired.
    Please let me know if there are any other good options.

    Hi guys,
    my code goes like this..
    for (int j = 0; j < size; j++) {
                   UIColumn column = new UIColumn();
                   dataTable.getChildren().add(column);
                   HtmlOutputText header = new HtmlOutputText();
                   header.setValue(periodHeader[j]);
                   column.setHeader(header);
                   HtmlOutputText output = new HtmlOutputText();
                   output.setValue(new Double(periodLiability[j]));
                   ValueBinding vb1 = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance()
                             .getApplication().createValueBinding(
                                       ("#{liability.periodLiability["+j+"]}"));
                   output.setValueBinding("value", vb1);
                   column.getChildren().add(output);
    this code gives me the number of headers i need. But, it doesnt render the columns. I have an array of Double (periodLiability) which stores few values of Double type. I want to show thesee values inthe dataTable Column.
    Please help me..

  • Are there any differences?

    Are there any differences? on Ipod Video bought in USA and Europe? or are they just the same?
    Ive heard that some people have problem with ipods in europe with the pal system when they bought it in USA.
    Regards Kim

    The only difference I would think there would be between iPods sold here or in Europe is the default option for video out display. So, if you buy your iPod in Europe, and you want to display something from your iPod on a TV in the US, you would just have to change and option. Here is an article that goes over that a bit:
