WRT54G v4 No Internet, Ping/Tracert Work Fine From Device

I have a WRT54G v4 running the 4.21.1 firmware and cannot get internet access via the router.
- My cable modem is working... it connects, works fine when my PC is plugged directly into the modem.
- My WRT54G can connect to the internet... it gets an IP correctly, DNS correctly, and can ping/tracert correctly to www.google.com and other addresses from the administration page.
- My PC can connect fine to the router... the admin page is accessible via wired connection (I've disabled the wireless on the AP to simplify troubleshooting).
- My PC is assigned DNS servers from my ISP via the router's DHCP properly, but cannot connect to them.
- My PC cannot get internet access via the router (pinging google's IP just times out, traceroutes fail after the router even when attempting to trace via an IP).
Here is a post (http://forums.linksys.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&thread.id=52449&view=by_da...) which basically looks like the same issue I'm having, although the only solution they had was to downgrade the firmware... I am unable to locate the older firmware for the v4 version of the router though.
Any help getting this working would be appreciated.

As you have upgraded the firmware of the roter try resetting the router reset button in such a way that power
light is blinking on the router & then do a complete network power cycle i.e., unplug the power cables from the modem & from the router & then plug in the power cable to the modem first once all the lights are solid green you could plug in the power cable to the router & check out it will definately work!!
Configuration for cable connection:-
Access the setup page of the router by launching an
Browser and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When
it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field
empty and provide password as "admin" (Without quotes)
click on ok.
On the main setup page the ""Internet Connection Type"" should be
on ""Obtain IP Automatically - DHCP ?. Click on the Save Settings
button.
Now click on the sub tab ""MAC address clone"".
- Click on enable
Click Clone & click save settings
Check WAN Ip on Status page of router ....
If getting Valid Ip .... try going online
If not ... power cycle for 4-5 minutes & then agian check the WAN Ip address .....
& it should definately work!!!

If you already registered, then there is no point to trying to do so again. Simply dismiss the dialog.

After a crash and update firefox will not connect to any webpages. Internet explorer is working fine. What's going on?

Firefox crashed. Closed all my windows - did the auto update thingy with accompanying message. Brought up the windows that had closed as usual - all said "problem loading page". That *****. I sell electronics on ebay. Before listing them, i have to test and clean them. I have worked with microsoft Zune, you could sync via wireless through the network to your host computer.
i was hoping Apple would add that feature or the ability to connect to my computer via WiFi or Bluetooth and sync it wirelessly... It would be sweet to have the bluetooth and wireless opened up so you can do more than just connect to headphones or a headset...
I upgraded to the iPhone 4 this past december, i am on replacement # 2 or my 3rd iPhone 4... I was hoping for some upgrades in quality. Also being left handed, it seemed to drop many calls and give me very poor reception. i added a Griffin Elan Form Graphie case that covers all but the front, top button, bottom speakers and volume control buttons and the call and reception quality has improved. But I sure would have loved to see some improvements in the quality and function of the phone...

Skill Search works fine from search center, but it doesn't work from Lync client

My environment consists of Lync Server 2013 and SharePoint Server 2013.
I configured skill search and it works fine from search center, but it doesn't work from Lync client. An error appears says"error occurred during the search, please try again".
I configured these URLs in my client policy
set-csclientpolicy -identity global -spsearchinternalurl http://<Sharepoint Server>/_vti_bin/search.asmx
set-csclientpolicy -identity global -spsearchcenterinternalurl http://<Sharepoint Server>/searchcenter/pages/peopleresults.aspx
I checked these URLs from the browser and they work fine.
I disabled anonymous access to _vti_bin, but no change then i checked lync log but i didn't find any error then i used Wireshark and found that when Lync client contacts Sharepoint, Sharepoint responded to it with internal server error http 500
Please advice for what to do

me to understand why my code below works fine from console application (VS 2010) and not working from interface of my SharePoint collection site :
From console application : the subsite is created and I can to open without any problem
From Sharepoint GUI : the subsite is created but impossible
to open subsite : error 404 page not found ?
The subsite creation is very long (2 minutes) and in concole application When I try to open the subsite just after its creation I have page not found and I must waits (several refresh) more time to open the subsite correctly.
Can be I must to display a PoPup to show the progress creation ?

Using my new G5 I have the same problem, which I did not know using my old G4 with an external LaCie burner. The CD-Changer in my car is not able to read audio-cds, also my cd-player in my home hifi-system. The only way to play these audio-cds is (strange...) to put them directly in the main tuner of my car (usually used for the navigation cd), not using the Changer.
Maybe the problem really depends on the quality of the CD-Rs. I have used CD-Rs from Sony (it´s a brand, I think?) and will try Verbatim.

I'm using the same swear words as you. There are several threads about this problem - no answers.
I have a LaserJet 8100N and 8150DN, get the 79.01FE error on the 8150 from print outs from Safari, Firefox, and Preview, for only some sites/documents. CNN.com has become my test site, seems I can crash the printer 90% of the time with their home page at any given time in the day.
A summary of what I have tried:
- Upgraded the firmware to the latest for both the JetDirect card and the printer.
- Swapped the JetDirect cards between the 8100 and 8150.
- Swapped ram on the 8150 board.
- Disconnected external trays, bins, and removed extra RAM and hard drives from the 8150.
- Tried setting the JetDirect link and matching switch port link to 100FD, 10HD, 10FD, 100HD, as suggested by a poster.
- Tried having client's print to the printer through a XServer Print Server.
- Can consistently create the error from multiple systems running 10.3.9, 10.4.5, and 10.4.6 (didn't have an install base of 10.4 before 10.4.5).
Someone in the 'know' (which means they're likely not), said 10.4.7 will likely fix this. Being Apple has not even addressed that the problem exists (that I could find), I doubt the magic fix is a release away.
Apple's software is triggering something that Windows systems appears not to be, so one could say it's an Apple problem; but ulimately it's HP's software/hardware that is at fault in that it is allowing their system to crash from input alone.

I have the same issue...I called Adobe and they said that Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7 ...so I tried installing the suite again without Acrobat and still the same issue....does anyone know if this issue is resolved by getting the new CS5 suite??? I am getting an unable to connect error messagen when I start the browser. The setting is set to "no proxy" and my internet connection is working fine. What can I do to fix this?

I opened up my firefox browser yesterday and it crashed. Since then I get an error message that says "unable to connect" every time I try to load the browser. The setting is set to "no proxy" So it should be connecting. My internet explorer browser is working fine. So I know it is not my internet connection. What can I do to make the firefox browser work again?
