WRT54G2 & SPA2102 messenger issues

Hi
I have the internet port of the WRT54G2 connected to the ethernet port of the SPA2102, then the internet port of the SPA2102 to the cablemodem, this is the only way I can make the SPA2102 works but I can't sign to MSN Messenger or open some web pages like hotmail.com.
This does not happens if I connect otherwise (cablemodem to WRT54G2, WRT54G2 ethernet port to SPA2102 internet port) but the VoIP won't work.
Please help!

On both setup that you have stated you need to open/forward the ports being used by the services to get it working since you're on a double-NAT . In the setup where SPA is the secondary router, you need to enable NAT Mapping and NAT Keep Alive on SPA , open port UDP 5060-5061, 16384-16482 on the WRT54G2.

Lately, everytime I open my msn, my display name disappears and it never stays. It has NEVER happened before and honestly it is starting to get really annoying.

Yahoo Messenger Issue

HELP!! I changed my Yahoo password, and I can no longer log in using Yahoo Messenger on my BlackBerry. When I input the User ID and new password, I get the message "Cannot connect to server." I have uninstalled and reinstalled Yahoo multiple times, as well re-booting my phone. Please help.

i don’t think it is because you have changed your password , as i am having the same problem and the comments on the app have all said they are too i think there is a problem all round not just on your part or mine and blackberry or yahoo need to fix it as i believe many are suffering from the issue. i have never befor suffered any problems with the app and have deleted rebooted reinstalled eerything possible to do on my part which has solved this issue for others in the past.
i hope for the manny of us who are having problems that blackberry get their act together and realise that there is something wrong and it needs to be fixed

MSN messenger issues

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue, and/or any suggestions about how to make it go away. What happens is that I'm working on my macbook (not chatting or using msn whatsoever, but it is running in the background). All of a sudden I'll hear my fans come on, though I haven't started any new programs or used any more cpu than I was before. They'll get stronger and stronger until they are at full capacity. I check my temp, its in the 80's. I check what processes are running that might account for this and 'msn messenger daemon' is taking up 100% or sometimes 102% of my cpu. I force quit it and all returns to normal. This has happened at least twice in the last week. What does this msn messenger daemon do with regard to the program as a whole, and why might it do this? Would reinstalling it help? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I don't use MSN Messenger (Microsoft Messenger for Mac). However, you might want to search or post on the "Microsoft Messenger for Mac" group you can find on the Microsoft Mac Support - Newsgroups page. These are Google Groups with active participation from MS Microsoft Messenger for Mac users, including a variety of expert users.
Be sure to state the version of Microsoft Messenger for Mac you are using if you post there.
I don't mean to send you somewhere else, but I've found numerous answers there for folks with questions related to MS products. Accordingly, it has often proved to be the first, best place to look for answers to questions such as you are asking.

MESSENGER ISSUES WITH LUMIAS

have a nokia lumia 520.Here in it the native messenger for Facebook in messaging hub doesn't work properly.Sometimes occasionally Facebook message arrives.Chat is not working.Worst service.
Already contacted Microsoft but no solution.If one of my friend initiates the chat then only first message arrives on my phone then the messenger not working.All the lumia 520 phones has same problem.I have checked 4 lumias.Other Facebook services are working well but messenger not working which is most essential.
Looking for a Fix ASAP

Connectino and BB Messenger issue

Ok I have 2 issues but I tink hey might be related since bith involve using the data plan.
1. Every once in a while my internet service just stops working. Its fixed if I turn off my Mobile Network then turn it back on but its really annoying because it screws up my AIM app. Is there a way to make this not happen anymore?
2. Also my BB Messenger just doesn't work. I have sent two requests out and neither person has received them. They also sent me requests which I never received. Battery pulls, etc have not worked to fic the issue on this one.
Any help?

Device model and OS versions don't matter.
Over the past few days many people have noticed some slowdown and lag on BBM invites, avatar syncing, etc... and your isse as well could be related to that.
Unless someone offers you are more immdiate solution, give the invites a few days and see what happens.

Awkward Windows Live Messenger issue with 6760

I was having a windows live messenger conversation with a friend yesterday on my new 6760, the area I was in had terrible reception so it kept roaming or cutting out, asking me if I wanted to resend my messages, etc.
I resent them a few times, not sure if they were getting through, when I was startled by a response from a totally different person on my messenger list.
To be clear- I was chatting with person A, when suddenly person B was receiving my messages instead. The chat still said I was talking to person A, and when I checked who was involved in the chat, the only participants were listed as myself and person A, however all my messages were being sent to person B instead, who I had not actually initiated a chat with, they just happened to be online at that time.
Any ideas? I'm a little paranoid to use messenger now, not knowing who is going to end up getting my messages!

Blackberry Messenger Issue

Okay, I've tried adding and readding, and adding and readding again a contact on BBM. But I'm having this issue.
I'm in Canada with a Bold, and my partner who I want to add is in Wales on a Bold as well. When ever we try to add each other, either if she sends it I don't get it. OR I send it, and it gets stuck in the pending authorization mode. So it never actually adds. I don't know what to do, as I'm new to the whole Blackberry thing.

Bump? anyone able to help with this?

A Yahoo Messenger Issue with msn contacts

HI just a quick question … in Yahoo Messenger I can video chat with my msn contacts the options are shown in grey and unusable. Is this normal and if not can I "fix" this?

WRT54G2 set up issue

Okay, Im sick of this router. I bought this last summer and I've had NOTHING but issues. a room mate had a wireless N router by another brand and we had that all winter. so I re-installed my router and software and worked fine for few dats and right now I can't even get the wireless to run.
right now the orange light is on the "refresh button" I looked all over for answers but find nothing.
about every day I reset this thing 3-4 times a day its also slowing down my connection speed and causing alot of browsing problems as well as screwing up my online-gaming on xbox.
the firmware is 1.3 and im downloading 1.5 at the moment

Instead of downloading firmware ver 1.5 try to upgrade/re-flash the firmware ver 1.3 and follow the below mentioned settings to configure your router and Xbox.
To configure your router with cable connection follow this link and for DSL connection follow this link. To configure the Xbox follow the below mentioned settings.
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
On the set-up tab change the MTU Size to 1365 and click Save Settings...
Click on "Administration" tab and disable the option UPnP and click Save Settings...
Click on "Applications and Gaming" tab and then click on "Port Range Forwarding" subtab...
1) On the first line in Application box type in ABC, in the start box type in 53 and End box type in 3074, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box, click Save Settings once done...
2) Once you return to the set up page click on the Security tab and uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...
3)Click on the Status tab and take note of DNS1 and DNS2 Addresses...
4) Go to the XBox Network Settings and IP Address Settings and select manual IP Settings and assign the following on your Xbox
IP Address :- 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask :- 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway :- 192.168.1.1...
5) Also assign the DNS Addresses on the Xbox
Use DNS1 and DNS2 Addresses you took note off of the router status tab as Primary DNS & Secondary DNS for the xbox...
6) Turn off your modem, router, and Xbox...Wait for a minute...
7) Plug the modem power first, wait for another minute and plug the router power cable, wait another minute and turn on the Xbox and test it...it will connect...
IP Address: 192.168.X.[last part of ip in your device] e.g. if static ip given to the device was 192.168.X.10 get the last part and put that to the empty box.

Desktop App and Messenger issue

My husband and I both have blackberrys and we both use the same desktop app for PC. On Monday I set up my new blackberry Bold 9700 and synced my Outlook contacts with the phone. Somehow it put my husbands BBM contacts on my phone and now his don't work on his phone. How do I fix this? I've already tried uninstalling the app from my phone and reinstalling it and it brought back all his contacts again on my phone, I guess it thinks that my phone is his. He has a Storm (the first one released) if that's any help.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem except that it copies the sent message about 10 times to my trash folder. I am using gmail imap and the sent message also appears (10 times) in the trash folder when I access my email on the web.

4s messenger issues

My Iphone 4s is suddenly not recognizing my contacts -- and not consistently. There will be time it will show that a message is from "bob" and then suddenly it will show the telephone number rather than the contact name? Any tips?

I've been having the same problem. It also happens frequently with inbound calls from people within my contacts. Have you found a resolution? I'm about to call apple support now.

Windows Live Messenger Keeps Disconnecting!!!

Hi, I have a Linksys WRT54G v6, and I've noticed that everytime I'm either wired or wirelessly connected to the router, WL Messenger tends to disconnect every so often and then reconnects again right after. When I'm not connected to the router, and directly connected to my modem my messenger never gets disconnected.
Does anyone know how to fix this , because it gets really annoying!?!

To make sure the router works up to it's maximum potential or to avoid problems in the future it is suggested to download the latest firmware (operating software) into the router itself. This upgrade may help alleviate your messenger issue.
To upgrade the firmware:
1) download the firmware from www.linksys.com/downloads Look for your product model number from the list (e.g WRT54G v6)
2) save the file on your desktop
3) reconnect the modem-router-computer all to each other (via ethernet cable).
4) click on start - run (type in cmd)
5) on the DOS prompt type in ipconfig (take note of the default gateway number)
6) open up Internet Explorer and type in the default gateway number (i.e. 192.168.1.1).
7) username: leave it blank password: admin
8) go to the Administration tab and go to Firmware Upgrade
9) upgrade the firmware using the downloaded file (i.e browse and open the downloaded file then hit upgrade)
10) after the upgrade, press the reset button for 30 seconds then turn off and turn on the router.

Nokia C3 IM: Unable to sign in to Windows Messeng...

I am not able to sign into windows messenger: When try to login, I receive this message,
"A temporary service problem. Try again later. (Code 403). Ebuddy works fine, but I would rather use the Messenger IM. What am I doing wrong?
Any insight as to how to resolve this issue would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, pls visit http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/device-software-update/can-i-update in order to see whether your device firmware is current / or whether could be upgraded.
Sad to hear that your messenger issue is still not sorted By the way be warned that for most users when they upgraded to latest firmware the Communitites icon appears twice within the menu (Nokia is aware & currently is working towards fixing this bug)

Random resets, erased call logs, and faulty bb messenger

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed, but after a quick search, I couldn't find anything.
Prior to getting a 4GB memory card, I had a problem where people would ping me on BB messenger and I'd get the smiley icon. After checking the chat log, it only shows the last message sent, rather than the new message, leaving the smiley face icon still active.
In addition to this, my curve wouldn't save my call logs and would automatically delete some text messages. I linked this problem to insufficient on-phone memory and get a new card, to which it was solved with the occasional bugs.
Lately, my phone's been randomly resetting, deleting the texts and call logs, and gave me the BB messenger issue again. It's frustrating doing the hard reset (taking battery out) as a quick fix, and rather, I'd like to figure out the source of the problem and remedy that.
Does anyone know what's going on?
On a side note, my memory card doesn't snugly fit in the slot. My latch, for some reason, doesn't close tightly and is not completely aligned with the track. I figure the battery pushes the card in tight enough to not bring up issues, and I confirm that I've never had issues accessing my music or pictures stored on the memory card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have 64 mb of total memory on your device. You sent that you have 5mb free.
15 mb free would be considered a minimum.
Most people close the applications by pressing the escape or red key. This does not close the applications.
Each application has a close option. For instance if you are in the calendar hit the menu key (spotted key) and scroll down to the bottom close is listed.
When done using the browser, press menu and options, select cache operations,
clear all categories and hit escape it will clean the browser cache.
