WRT54GC Inbound Issues

I have been using the WRT54GC for over a year at our office. We're in a daisy chain setup with the WRT54GC as the DHCP controller andtwo other routers/hub with closed down DHCP to connect additional computers.
Internally everything works fine. But we have recently installed a mailserver and VPN on our server. These both work fine but since we have a cable modem, we need to use a dynamic IP service (I use dyndns).
I recently upgraded the firmware to the latest version as well since there was an update to the dyndns client in it. Arouynd the same time, we started seeing heavy usage of our mail server (meaning we actually rolled it out to end-users in general).
But since that time, the router seems to "loose" inbound connectivity. I use both dyndns and no-ip as a backup service but the router seems to start rejecting inbound connection after 2 or 3 days now no matter which route I choose (eg: both no-ip and dyndns).
This is becoming an issue as we use rpc through http for laptop users to access thgeir e-mail and we need to unplug the router from the wall for it to "route" itsef properly again.
I have not used the reset switch yet as I have plenty of port info I'd rather not have to set up again.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
PS : Internally, the network continues to work as it should, the router just seems to start rehecting connections all of a sudden.
PSS : The server has a static IP obviously and is plugged into the WRT54GC and not into another part of the chain.

Following this post I did a reset of the router to no avail. Is there anyone who could help out ?

WRT54GC DHCP issue

Hi I have a WRT54GC router and I have been using it in the wired mode for a year now. My computer (wired) and a VOIP adapter can get an IP from the DCP server easily.
The other day, I tried to connect to the wireless connection using a laptop and it could not get an IP. It tried for over 5 minutes and then gave the limited or no connectivity message. The same laptop can work with a wired connection and can connect to other wireless networks without any issues. I can not figure out what might be causing it. Any help would be appreciated.

In the non-working computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall (Including Windows Firewall), and see if that helps.
If you are running WPA with AES, this is equal to WPA2. If you are also using Windows XP, then please note that Windows XP requires a patch to run WPA2. Go to Microsoft Knowledge base, article ID=893357 and it will direct you to the patch.
Sadly, the patch is not part of the automatic Windows XP updates, so lots of people are missing the patch.

PO Creation Using IDOC ORDERS05 - Inbound Issue

Hi Experts,
I am new to the ALE/IDOCs. I am trying to create a PO in one client and trasnferring it to another client using the IDOC extension. I am using Message type ORDERS and Basic type ORDERS05 (Extended). I have craeted Partner Profile for both Inbound and outbound in their respective clients.From Outbond the Purchase order is sent successfully to the Port. On the inbound the PO is failing due to incorrect function mudule chosen for processing through process code. I have tried process codes like ORDE,ORDS,DELO and ME11.
Please Let me know the corrects process code in the inbound, to process IDOC as PO.
If i need to go for all together a different mesasge type. Please give me all the relevant details like BASIC type, Process code in Inbound and outbound . And i want the BASIC type to be extensible.

In the inbound side create a new entry in WE57 tcode.. with the functio mdoule as "IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS", basic type "ORDERS05", extn< specify the extn u created at outbound side>, message type "ORDERS". Now see if it is working.

WRT54GC Wireless Issue

I've had this router for about 18 months and it's always worked fine until recently. Whenever I try connecting a wireless device, the router loses it's internet connection. The internet light on the router goes off and all of the devices on the network lose their connection.
I have a desktop PC, PS3 and Xbox360 on a wired connection and I use my iPhone, a laptop and PSP over wi-fi. All the wired devices have static IPs and I use DHCP for anything wireless.
I first noticed that my desktop would lose connection when I tried connected my iPhone to the network but I've since tried using my other wireless devices and they all cause the same problem. It's not just the internet connection that seems to get lost, after the issue occurs, I cant log on to the router from my PC's web browser. The steps I take to resolve the problem are switching the router off and on again. That usually works, but sometimes I have to disable the connection on my PC and enable it again before it will see the router.
I've upgraded to the latest firmware and I believe I have the version 2 hardware. Nothing on the network has changed recently, neither has my ISP. I have Virgin cable broadband.

First thing which you need to check if all the computers are working on a DHCP , If your wireless computer has a Static IP on it then you need to remove the static IP from your computer and then try to connect to your wireless network.....
If that still doesn't work... Since you have already upgraded the firmware on your Router, then you need to reset your Router and Re-configure all the settings on it from scratch....

Regarding inbound issue

Like, for outbound we use the port in the partner profile as a receiver port.
but for inbound idoc where, we use the defined port.

Define segments: WE31
Create new basic idoc type: WE30
Create message type: WE81
Link message type to IDOC basis type: WE82
Create RDC destination: SM59
Create logical system: SALE
Create port: WE21 "Declare Port
Create partner profile: WE20 "Add port to Partner profile
Set up distribution model (If necessary): BD64
for indound and outbound we define port at same areas in we21 but we will mention the whether it is outbound or indound...

QRFC inbound issue

I registered RFC destination in tcode SMQS and excuted report RSTRFCT0 in order to create an outbound queue qRFC.
The result is that I can see the queue just created in SMQ1.
However, I can have good understanding about inbound side.
I also registered exact the queue in SMQR and expected to see the relevent inbound LUW underlying this queue. But the fact is I cannot see anything. The list in SMQ2 is empty.
Is there anything I understand in wrong way?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, I have created queue in SMQR of receiving system with exact name in coordination with the parameter in report RSTRFCT0 , but after exceuting the report RSTRFCT0 in sending system, what I excepted to see in receiving queue didn't appear.
I set the queue with U status and assumed the incoming LUWs would pipe up in that queue but it didn't. I'm confused.

Missing material line in Inbound delivery

Hi All,
Outbound delivery and inbound delivery are created successfuly, but in the inbound there is no material appear. There is only 1 material in the outbound. What is the cause of the issue and how to fix the inbound issue?

hi,
am getting inbound issue with status 51,
means in same client with difeerent systems like client 100 and sender system in client side
and receiver system offshore side.
sender system having company code 001, and sales organization ip01, distribution chennel 10,
receiving system have different compay code and sales organization.
while getting sales inbound it will the status 51 like company code(bukrs), sale(vkorg), channel (spart)
could not be determind.
after that i have debugging use the transaction we19.
finally it giving status is 62.
how to correct the issues.
anybody pls send proper functionalities.

First of all for creating a Sales order the Customer should be part of the Company Code and Sales Area ie Sales Org, Distribution Channel and Division.
If that combination is not present then you cann't create a slaes order. You cann't create a Sales Order with the help of ALE configuration unless and until and the sender system can send the sales org, distribution channel and division of the receiver system inorder to send this kind of information from the sender system you need to write lot of code in the sender system.

Question marks in emails sent from mac mail client

When I send emails the recipient receives my emails with question marks scattered throughout the message. Not sure why this is happening. I can not find anything on the help site about out going encoding issues, only inbound issues.

How to Close PO relate Inbound Deliveries w/o posting goods issue?

Recently someone helped me in trying to find the status in the ABAP Dictionary of an Inbound Delivery. So thanks!
I have another question, is there a way to close the Inbound Delivery without posting to goods issue or while its still open in the document flow.
I want to ask because the business requirment needs to clsoe these Inbound Delivery Documents for archiving purposes and in SAP they are never closed since the Material Document is created (via MB01) w/o SAP referncing it to the Delivery Document.
I was thinking maybe I can tag a field somewhere or use a BAPI/FM to do this.

You might want to define what exactly do you mean by "close".
As far as I understand, if there has been no goods movement ("goods issue" is for the outbound deliveries, inbound deliveries create "goods receipt", just FYI) or TOs created against a delivery, it can be simply permanently deleted from the database. The corresponding purchase order would then have to be also deleted or somehow rejected (not sure if there is something similar to the SD "rejection reason" in PTP). As an alternative, the PO quantity could probably be changed to 0.
Also it might be an option to change both the received and delivery quantity to 0 and then do "post goods receipt". This should not create any goods movement, but will most likely set the delivery status to 'complete".
Unfortunately, I don't have a system with the deliveries right now to verify these theories...

Issue while inserting a BDC program in Inbound Proxy.JDBC-- PI-- SAP.

The scenerio is jdbcsender-sappi-inboundproxy(ECC6.0).
The issue is related to SAP Plant Maintenance Module where We have a requirement for creating Maintenance item
programmatically from (SQLDatabase)Legacy Data for one of the interface.
since there are no standard BAPIS/Idocs or function modules available from SAP side for creating the maintenance item. So I
have written BDC program and with the help of submit statement in inbound proxy program, I am calling BDC program for
creation of the maintenance item.
When I tested the program independently on proxy side the Maintenance Item is getting created successfully but when I
executed from end-to-end ie. SQLDATABASE->SAP PI-->SAP. The message is getting strucked into the queue and queue got stopped on SAP.
ECC side and the status of the message is scheduled state on SXMB_MONI transaction of SAP ECC.
As the message is in scheduled state multiple number of Maintenance Items are getting created with the same values.
Has any one of our SAP friends, encountered this type of issue while inserting a BDC program in inbound proxy, please help
in fixing this issue. FYI... I am using sap pi7.0 with service pack 24 and ecc6.0

Thanks for the reply. I have tried registering the queues but still the same problem. the message got stuck in the queue of ECC and showing below message in queue.

Issue while deleting Inbound delivery.

Hello All,
Here there is an issue while deleting Inbound delivery.
GR ie 101 movement type is done for 1000 stocks.
Later GR reversal ie 102 movement type is done for 200 stocks.
So now in MD04 transaction inbound delivery is opened for 200 stocks.
I am trying to delete Inbound delivery for 200 stocks but it doent allow.
wht to do?please help

I think you have used 102 and manully amend the qty.
The inbound has 1000 qty, you reverse 200 qty. You should amend inbound delivery document qty to 800 and not delete it.

Issue at the time of creation of transfer order for inbound delivery

I am facing one issue at the time of creation of transfer order for inbound delivery.
If I create inbound delivery for purchase order with account assignment as 'M' (Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO), inbound delivery is not updated. Also document flow for inbounde delivery s not updated. I can create N number of transfer orders for on inbound delivery. Need help to resolve issue.
If I create inbound delivery for purchase order with account assignment other than 'M' (Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO), inbound delivery and document flow is updated.

Issue with Siebel Inbound Web Service

Hi pals,
I have to make an Inbound Web Service that accept one Service Request, Insert the record in siebel's database and return the SR Number.
I did an Integration Objects with the fields that I need, but I'm stuck with the workflow's steps, I did the next Workflow.
Start-- EAI DATA MAPPING ENGINE---EAI SIEBEL ADAPTER (Insert)--END
But I'm not sure if this will work.
Anybody could you help me telling me if this steps are ok or If I need some more steps. Which are the arguments that have to be involved in the steps.
Another issue is that I don't know if is it possible do the test since its a web service and I don't have the consumer system.

one alternative may be Restart ICM (Internet Communication Manager) .This will solve your HTTP issue
