WRT54GC: Internet dies when accessing a webpage with alot of pictures

Hi all, recently I noticed that when I'm browsing to a webpage with alot of pictures my internet dies on the PC I'm accessing it on. I disabled all software-firewalls and it keeps doing it. I'm surfing wired. Tested it with both IE and FF. The other PC's that hang on the net don't disonnect so the router keeps its connection. I have looked through all the options on the GUI but can't find anything. Does anyone have an idea? Or if you need more info, ask and I'll try to provide so this problem can be solved! Thanks in advance

Hi… logon to router’s setup page and reduce MTU to 1458 check whether it makes any difference, if it still doesn’t work try upgrading latest firmware on the router, after upgrading latest firmware on the router, reset the router and reconfigure it according to ISP settings and reduce MTU to 1458…

Problem when access to CSS with SSH

We have an strange issue when we try to access to the management of the CSS with SSH protocol: we need to put the username twice.

Hello Dani,
This has been the behavior of the CSS when logging in via SSH since the product was introduced. So yes, this is normal behavior for the CSS.

Firefox 16 freezes for 1 minute when accessing certain webpages, I think they're all using Flash

I installed Firefox 16.0.1 yesterday. I was running 15 earlier in the day and it was fine. FF 16 however has suddenly started hanging for about a minute when I try to access certain websites. It unfreezes fine after that minute, no crashes or anything, but it's very irritating. From what I can tell it only seems to do it on pages that use Flash. I've got the latest version installed, and it's made no difference. I tried downgrading to FF 15 and it's still the same. Anyone know what's going on?

Did you try to disable protected mode in the Flash player?
You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Flash#Flash_Player_11.3_Protected_Mode_-_Windows

MacBook internet disconnects when I connect BB10 with USB

Everytime I connect my phone to my laptop via the usb (supplied with orignial device) the internet on my MacBook disconnects and I lose my VPN connection.
It seems the Z10 creates a new 'Blackberry' Network connection which overrides my computer settings. If I disable this connection it is simply recreated the next time I connect my Z10 and my internet disconnects and I lose my VPN connection.
Any idea how I can prevent this? I could do with a setting to switch this behaviour on or off rather than the Z10 assuming I want to use it to connect.

Safari crashes when opening a webpage with quicktime embeded

Everytime i open a page with a quicktime movie, safari crashes. i have RESET SAFARI and EMPTIED THE CACHE, but it is still happening.
I dont know if this is related, but i can no longer open I.E. anymore, it crashes at startup.
Are these issues related and can anyone help?

Vista dies when using Advanced Dock with Nvidia graphics card

I installed a Nvidia Gefore 8600GT video card in my advanced docking station but when i dock my laptop it freezes and has to be hard booted off the dock in order to work again. Do I have to use the ATI X1300 card?

The Advanced Dock only supports the ATI X1300 card and with XP.

Firefox still freezes for 1 minute when accessing certain webpages,

Only happens on certain web sites,mouse and keyboard totally unresponsive but after waiting for about 1 minute all goes back to normal?

FF 3.6.8, Snow Leopard, Flash 10.1.82.76 Crashes when accessing a site with Flash. But when using other browsers (Safari, Camino) no crash. Still an Adobe problem???

i have posted this again since the previous has been answered and beside, try to simplify the problem
I am trying a very simple code here by have so many break lines so i can scroll down to the page. when i scroll down, click on the text box, the pop up calendar dosen't appear next to the text box, i appears all the way on the top. is there the way to make the calendar appeas next to the text box.

BT HomeHub 4.0 Crashing when Accessing the Default...

Recently i have been trying to access the bt homehub 4.0 default ip page to access the homehubs settings i have done this before and worked perfectly however recently when i have tried to access this page to port forward some ports i have had total internet faliure as soon as the page loads the router flashes orange nobody can connect to it then after a hard reset we can access the internet however when accessing the deafult gateway for the router i does the same thing so i am unable to access my router's settings, or port forward.
Has anybody Solved this or can anybody help me to solve this?

I haven't heard of this happening before, have you tried a factory reset on the Hub to see if this makes any difference? You can do this by pressing the reset pinhole button for 20 seconds.

Chrome and IE work fine. This is a new PKI using the SHA-2 signature algorithm.

From the other post you link too, I can confirm that both the Root and Subordinate CA have been commissioned with the:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\CertSvc\Configuration\IssuingCA\CSP\AlternateSignatureAlgorithm = 1
registry key set. As can be seen above, the Signature algorithm on an issued certificate is RSASSA-PSS. This is been Microsoft suggested deployment IF you do not wish to support either XP or Windows 2003 machine and lower. In fact, I believe the option has been around since Windows 2008, however, there were of course, a lot more XP machines back then.
The obvious answer is that we would like to maintain the updated algorithm, AND see support for it added for Firefox. I think you will see a LOT more posts like this as people deploy more 2012 PKI infrastructure supporting only Windows 7 and up. Heavens, we may well be forced to Chrome or even back to IE!!! Whilst I do not what to necessary open up other potential vulnerabilities, for the sake of testing, what do you mean by disabling mozilla:pkix?

Computer tend to freeze when accessing internet with D-Link dir-655 router

I recently bought a D-Link dir-655 router and since then my computer tend to freeze up completely when accessing internet. This also happens when certain programs access internet. Otherwise I am usually using Internet Explorer or Opera.
I've found that there are many who experience problems with D-Link router, that they may have problems with certain network card. Anyone who can say if this is a known issues and if it there is a solution or if it is better to buy another router?

Would you consider backing up your files and doing a system recovery?
Maybe the OS has some corrupt registry files or something.
If you recover and then it still does that, your only choice looking at the motherboard is a PCIe gigabit ethernet adapter which would be relatively easy to install, or you could even get a USB ethernet adapter and not even have to open the case.
See if there is a setting to disable the onboard NIC if you have to add a network card.
I would rule out all software problems before buying hardware.
If you want to try some other malware program, I recommend the free Kapersky rescue disk. You burn the file to a CD and boot from it. It scans the drive and deletes any malware or virus files it finds without the PC being in windows. A lot of times viruses and malware can't be removed when windows is running.
