WRT54GH and A495 GIGASET telefone Siemens

Anyone has a register of problems between a router WRT54GH and A495 telefone of Siemens?
I mean they can be working in the same frequency, that´s why in some rooms I can connect my wireless network very well.
Someone knows how could I check this?
Tks.

What is exactly the problem that you are experiencing using the WRT54GH router with the A495 GIGASET telefone? The reason for my question is for us to know what workarounds the users could provide you with any problem you're experiencing.

  • Interfacing PLC siemens S7_300 and LabVIEW DSC using siemens OPC server

Does anyone already interface Siemens PLC S7_315-2-DP with LabVIEW DSC using Siemens OPC server?
Is that a good solution? Are there any hidden problems?

The use of an OPC Server is the way to go when dealing with LV. If you already have Siemens OPC Server then use that. Otherwise, NI has a product called IA Severs/Lookout Protocol Drivers (LPD), which has a large selection of drivers for PLC's. After configuring the driver, LPD is the OPC Server for the device.

  • How can I write to a Siemens S7-300 PLC tag from OPC Server.vbai page by using a Knob object ?

I am using NI OPC Server and I can read Siemens S7-300 PLC tags such as thermocouple values from the PLC. Additonally I can write manually a constant value to that tag by selecting it in the NI Distributed System Manager. And I can read the written value from NI Distributed System Manager or from NI OPC Server. But I can not write any value to the S7300 PLC tags such as by using a knob object at the NI Vision Builder AI Inpection (.vbai) page.
Any help is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

The tutorial at the following location explains how to use Vision Builder AI as a OPC server.
    https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-18647
    http://www.ni.com/white-paper/13574/en
To allow VBAI to connect to an OPC Server (i.e. act as an OPC client), you need to purchase and install the DSC Run-time System.
Once installed, you can create an OPC I/O client using the Distributed System Manager, create variables bound to OPC tags, then create VBAI network variables that are bound to these variables.
Another possible technical solution to connect to OPC Servers supporting Data Access 2.0 is to use the datasocket API in a Run LabVIEW step.

  • WRT54GH can't connect to upstream connection

I have a DSL connection. There are no internet routers, but a CAT-5 ethernet cable comes from the ISP into my house. That cable connects to a local hub that supplies internet to the entire locality. The connection to the ISP is DHCP-based.
After I bought the WRT54GH and installed it like it should, the router functioned properly for a couple of days. After that, after powering up the router, I would only get the "power", "Ethernet1" and "Wireless" LEDs glowing on the WRT54GH, and not the "internet" LED. No amount of troubleshooting with Network Magic is fixing it, but when connecting the internet cable (from my ISP) directly to the PC, the ISP gets detected in a snap. Plugging that cable back into the WRT54GH, and the "internet" LED doesn't glow. Plugging any other ethernet cable into the yellow "internet" port of the WRT54GH makes the "internet" LED glow (meaning that the upstream port is working).
What I've already tried (and didn't work):
    - "Fix Connection" on Network Magic countless^2 times
    - reinstalling the WRT54GH from scratch a number of times
    - reset of the WRT54GH a number of times, and feeding in all the correct data
    - making the WRT54GH clone my PC's MAC
    - going to the "status" page and click on "renew IP"
    - Connecting the PC directly to the ISP cable, noting down the IP, Subnet, Gateway, DNS addresses  dynamically assigned to my PC, and then feeding it to the router with the "static IP" option selected
    What should I do next?
If this piece of information helps: the upstream hub from my ISP "slowly" assigns IP. Once you directly connect to the ISP, the Windows Networking shows "cable disconnected" for 1 minute, then "identifying..." for another 2 minutes before showing "unidentified network" for another minute, and then "connected".

Connect the ISP cable directly to the Internet port of the Linksys router .
Don't connect the Hub into the network .
Press and hold the reset for 30 seconds at the back of your Linksys router .
Power cycle the modem and router .
Open the setup page of the Linksys router and follow this link to configure it .

  • I have a nokia siemens router. Can I use apple airport express with this to expand my wi-fi range

I HAVE A NOKIA SIEMENS ROUTER. THROUGH THAT I AM USIING WI-FI NETWORK AT MY HOME. I WANT TO EXTEND ITS RANGE SO I BUY AIRPORT EXPRESS. CAN I USE WITH THIS ROUTER

Please do not type in all capital letters. It is difficult to read and appears as if you are SHOUTING.
You can use the AirPort Express to provide more wireless coverage for your router if you connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the AirPort Express and configure it to "create a wireless network" using the same wireless network name, security settings and password as your Siemens router.
If you are asking if you can use the Express to extend the wireless network using wireless only, it is extremely unlikely that this will work since Apple's "extend" a wireless network feature appears to work only with other Apple products.
As far as we know, it is not compatible with devices from any other manufacturer.

  • Server 2012 cluster - virtual machine live migration does not work

    Hi,
We have a hyper-v cluster with two nodes running Windows Server 2012. All the configurations are identical.
When I try to make a Live migration from one node to the other I get an error message saying:
Live migration of 'Virtual Machine XXXXXX' failed.
I get no other error messages, not even in event viewer. This same happens with all of our virtual machines.
A normal Quick migration works just fine for all of the virtual machines, so network configuration should not be an issue.
The above error message does not provide much information.

    Hi,
Please check whether your configuration meet live migration requirement:
Two (or more) servers running Hyper-V that:
    Support hardware virtualization.
    Yes they support virtualization.
Are using processors from the same manufacturer (for example, all AMD or all Intel).
Both Servers are identical and brand new Fujitsu-Siemens RX300S7 with the same kind of processor (Xeon E5-2620).
Belong to either the same Active Directory domain, or to domains that trust each other.
Both nodes are in the same domain.
Virtual machines must be configured to use virtual hard disks or virtual Fibre Channel disks (no physical disks).
All of the vitual machines have virtual hard disks.
Use of a private network is recommended for live migration network traffic.
Have tried this, but does not help.
Requirements for live migration in a cluster:
Windows Failover Clustering is enabled and configured.
    Yes
Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) storage in the cluster is enabled.
    Yes
Requirements for live migration using shared storage:
All files that comprise a virtual machine (for example, virtual hard disks, snapshots, and configuration) are stored on an SMB share. They are all on the same CSV
Permissions on the SMB share have been configured to grant access to the computer accounts of all servers running Hyper-V.
Requirements for live migration with no shared infrastructure:
    No extra requirements exist.
Also please refer to this article to check whether you have finished all preparation works for live migration:

  • Win 7 won't boot after successful (?) install

    Hi Group,
Tried searching the forums for this problem and found similar postings but I think my problem is different...
I've successfuly installed Win 7 Ultimate x86 in that I get to the point of entering product key, etc. but when it does the final reboot I just get a blank screen with a blinking cursor. Tried some of the workarounds like clearing the pram/smc, deleting the ati driver .sys file (which doesn't seem to exist actually) and also using the driver autounattend from the usb drive. I'm running the latest version of boot camp.
Not sure what to try next. I've been successful installing this version of windows in VMWare and on a fujitsu-siemens laptop without any issues. I've also been successful at installing Xp via bootcamp. Really at a loss as to what to try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Jeff

*Take an iMac and Windows 7 Blue screen fun*
the final part of the Win 7 install and Mr Blue screen due to the Nividia driver supplied on Win 7 DVD kills iMac GT7300
    1. Install... and Blue screen!
2.Re-boot but from the Win 7 install disk – seems to work if you hold alt on boot up and select the disk to boot from!
3.When you get into the Windows installer, click past the language selection. Then click "Repair your computer".
4.Windows will scan for installations and prompt you with a list. Select your "C" drive and click Next.
5.You should be presented with a windows titled *System Recovery Options*.
At the bottom of this list you should see +Command Prompt+.
    Select the command prompt.
6.When the console opens, you can delete the offending driver using the following command:
    DEL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\NVLDDMKM.SYS
7.Close the command prompt window and click the Restart button.
This time, boot from your hard disk.
You will complete the install with no Blue screen.
Having done this go to the Nivida web site and download the GT 7 series drivers for Windows 7.
    Install, re-boot and ...
+*... install Bootcamp drivers and right off your back to Blue Screen...*+
Repeat 1-7 and install newly downloaded drivers and off you go

Now cannot do anything. Connection Manager does find the phone and states "Das Telefon ist betriebsbereit" (the phone is ready to use). click "Weiter" (next) and "Fertig stellen" (Complete) and PC Suite still shows (Click here to connect to a phone), In synchronization tool the (Sync Now) button is grayed.
Internet connection doesn't find a Modem, previous version found several although none worked. What's gone wrong??
    Thanks for your help!

  • Gateway Server losing modem's DHCP

I'm running an Intel-based Mac Pro with Tiger Server as a gateway connected directly to a DSL modem on Ethernet Port 1 and to the rest of the downstream network on Ethernet Port 2. Every 2 weeks or so, the server loses its IP address (as supplied by the modem's DHCP) and internet connection with it. Setting the IP manually doesn't restore the connection. The only way to get my connection back is to reboot the server. We've tried replacing the modem, but it the problem still crops up consistantly every 2 weeks or so. If any one here has ideas of things to try, I'd appreciate it.
Oh, and it's a Siemens SpeedStream 4100 B ADSL modem.

I'm having the same problem. In my case though, the modem (a Motorola cable modem) is disconnecting every 20 minutes or so. Again, the only way to get a connection back is by rebooting. This used to happen every two weeks or so, but now it's worse. I've tried replacing the network cables (didn't work), I've had the modem diagnosed (they say everything is fine), I've tried swapping the network connections (use ethernet port 2 to connect to the net instead of ethernet port 1, also didn't work). The only insight I've got is that just before or after the disconnect (I'm not sure when) I get this in the system logs:
launchd: Server 0 in bootstrap 1103 uid 0: "/usr/sbin/lookupd"[112]: exited abnormally: Hangup
I would also appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks.

  • Devices supporting serial connection

    Hi,
I am looking for information about use of a serial port in MIDP. I know it's not obligatory to support this feature in an implementation of MIDP on a mobile device. Please, do you know what devices for sure are supporting comm protocol in the following way?
    Connector.open("comm:com0;baudrate=19200");
Can you give me a list of such phones?
    Thank you in advance

As far as I remember, the docs came with SMTK, version 3, so it should be common for all siemens phones, generation 65. But I'm unable to check it at the moment - my notebook get crashed and I'm just exchanging it for the new one. What I can suggest, register to developer portal of siemens (www.siemens.com/developer) and download SMTK (newest one) and emulator packs (for the phones you want, i highly suggest three ones: S65, CX65 and C65).
If you are interested in buying new x65 siemens, i suggest you to consider buying cx in place of c. In my country (Poland) the price of CX is about 30 - 40 % higher than C (i'm talking about new phones, that can be bought from second hand) but the class of CX is much higher. The only thing that made me buying S and not CX is that CX has no bluetooth...
OK. Returning to the main problem - write a simple MIDlet that uses COM port and try it with siemens emulators, then - see what happens.
