WRT54GR. I set security but it keeps on getting disabled. Anyone know why?
I've had my router for a while now. Just recently I was having trouble getting online when using the router but my connection was fine without it. I then got that resolved. When I checked I saw that all of my security settings were disabled. I went back in and set them all up again. When I connected then through either my laptop or my TIVO it keeps showing up that my network is unsecured. Does anyone know why this would keep happening?
Router might have been resetted by you or any power surge.

It's stored in your autocomplete cache memory, which is separate from your contacts. Unless something has changed recently, the only way to remove it would be to restore the phone as new, without using your backup. You could check over in the Using iPhone forum to confirm this.

SMTP and SMTP-SSL is on ports 25, 587 and 465. Port 587 has to be SSL, and port 465 is enforced TLS-wrapped and is generally used by Outlook users. -
This issue pretty much occurred over night. I was able to get on the iTunes store, and now I cannot.
"Could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error has occurred. (0x800B0101)"
Ideas??Your account's balance should automatically be charged (it's only for gifting that a balance can't be used), there isn't a setting that you can change. I'm having the exact same problem. Out of the 500 or so contacts I have in my Outlook 2007 installation, about 50 occasionally get their category completely stripped off.
About the only thing I've been able to come up with is it seems to happen only when I add or modify a contact on one of my iOS devices, even if that contact is not part of my Outlook data (i.e.: the contact is part of MobileMe or iCloud data).
I guess I'll have to seek Apple support for this...

I am trying to extend my airport extreme signal to another airport extreme can this be done? I have tried several time using the automated set up but it keeps failing... I have selected every possible security/password encryption level... What am I doing wrong? If it os possible where can I find step by step instructions? Please & Thank you!
The challenge with the older round AirPort Extremes are that they are "g" wireless devices.
When you configure them for WDS, the speed on the wireless network is cut in half...and probably will not have the bandwidth required to stream video reliably from either AirPort Extreme since both are affected by the WDS setup.
There is not an "automated" setup for WDS. You have to do this manually on both AirPort Extremes. Unfortunately, it is not an easy configuration and it's easy to make a mistake and hard to recover without starting all over again.

Adding a single AirPort Express will unfortunately not help. You have to have "n" wireless devices at all router points. -

This is just a shot in the dark....
Do you have all your devices hooked up (and on) when you launch FMLE? For example -- your camera or digitizer? When FMLE launches it will try to launch with the last known settings... including input devices. If it can't find these devices (they're not hooked up and on) it can crash, although in most situations it will simply show a default screen with default settings.
If you do have your equipment hooked up (and on) when you launch FMLE, try unplugging them and then launching FMLE so that it opens up in default configuration mode (no input devices selected; all default settings). Then uncheck the "preview" boxes for both your input and output preview windows. Close FMLE and then plug in your equipment (and turn it on) and relaunch FMLE. I offer this suggestion as FMLE can sometimes act funny when the preview windows are open with certain types of input devices. Don't worry -- you don't have to keep the preview windows off forever. If you can get FMLE to successfully launch with the preview windows off, then you can set your settings however you like and save the profile. Then quit and relaunch FMLE and then turn the preview windows back on and see if it works. If it does, great. Just be aware that making any settings changes while the preview windows are open could result in FMLE crashing. Again -- this only happens with some capture devices, such as certain Dazzle capture boxes.
If none of this works, you could always try to upgrade to FMLE 3.2 and see if that solves your problem. -
Hi My battery on my macbook pro keeps running low on power very quickly and I have to keep recharging it. This has never happened before. I have used all the power saver options, but it keeps happening. Can anyone help. The battery seems to be losing power even when it is turned off.

How old is your Mac? If it is an older one, then the battery may just be dying. You can check by clicking on the Apple in the upper left-hand corner, then clicking on About This Mac>More Info>System Report, then click on Power (about half way down the list). At the top of the resulting display, you should see the following type of info:
The Health Information will tell you if your battery is going to need replacement soon. If it says Normal, then it is not the battery.

CS6 Camera Raw - I can now only crop using aspect ratio in the custom crop setting rather than being able to set the dims in cm and inches? anyone know how to revert? ever since installing new mac operating system things have been strange!

I have looked at all of my settings both in Bridge and CS6 Photoshop regarding Camera Raw. I am at a loss how to set the crop tool in cm or inches as I once did - now the only option is to crop using ratios of 1:1 etc etc - This is infuriating as lots of my square crops I could set at 10" x 10'' specifically to print one to one to fit frame and mount size -
Now if cropping using bloody aspect ratio of 1:1 (square) the actual dims of the crop are roughly 4.25 inches x 4.25 inches. this means I then have to open the whole image in photoshop in order to crop at the dims I have set! It was so much quicker in terms of batch cropping in camera raw being able to set dims in centimetres and inches but they have gone and mucked around with it, with the new bloody update! Unless you are an absolute genius and know how I can go back to having an option of CM, Inches and aspect ratio within the custom crop settings? (Please say you do)

My apple tv main menu no longer displays the "movies" section, just internet, computers, and settings. Does anyone know why or how to get it to show again? Recently rented a movie directly through apple tv but can't see the "movies" section in main menu now. WiFi and home sharing are working.

Check the location setting for the iTunes Store is correct.
You might also try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
If you are still having problems try a restore. -
i have 2 laptops both with iTunes installed but on one my source list includes 'Movies' and the other 'films' does anyone know why this would be?

Try checking you are not sending the audio to a remote source such as an airport express, appleTV or something similar.
Probably not the solution, but something I keep finding I've done.
