Does anyone know what is wrong?

Your router is fried. Try resetting it for 1 minute if its lit up normally then it will work other wise you may have to replace it .

I Have an HP c5550 all in one printer which I think goes into oscillation and all lights on it begins blinking and the power button will not turn it off. I have to unplug it to stop it. When I reconnect it, it will work for a few minutes and starts blinking all over again. I have had it on an XP machine but just recently put it on a windows 7 ultimate machine with the exact same results. Also the last time I got it to print instead of turning off and starting blinking it just kept repeatedly printing the same page which was supposed to pring one copy. Besides jacking it up and running a new one under it, what could be the matter with it?

HP Officejet 6310xi won't print - keeps blinking "reset power" and all lights flashing.

I have an HP Officejet 6310xi that won't print. When you select print, the paper begins to feed then suddenly stops before any printing begins and all lights on the face of the printer begin blinking and the message "RESET POWER" blinks in the screen readout of the printer. When I turn printer off and back on, the screen indicates a used color cartridge is inserted and I hit OK, then indicates used black cartridge is inserted, then I hit OK, then it says it needs to align cartridges, I hit OK. After trying to align cartridges, it suddenly stops and goes back to all lights flashing and screen flashing "RESET POWER". I can hit cancel during cartridge alignment and printer goes to normal ready position. I can then print a test page. But as soon as I try to print anything else, even the diagnostics page, it goes back to flashing all lights and "RESET POWER". I did a semi reset (unplug, wait, plug in holding #6) and a full reset (with #9). That did nothing except wipe out the date on the screen read out of the printer. So I know the full reset executed correctly but it did not solve my problem. Please HELP! I am reposting with email me selected - I'm new at this posting to forums...

Laptop won't start quickly but power wifi and caps lock light keeps blinking

Hi, it has happened before too but rarely but nowadays it happens on daily purposes.
When I switch on my laptop after leaving it for 8-9 hrs, it won't start up but instead power, wifi and caps lock light keep blinking. I tried removing battery and pressing power button for few minutes but nothing happens. Then i left it like that with lights blinking and after 15 20 minutes it booted. I did same yesterday too. I left it like that it booted after 20 minutes..so My question is "why is this happening? Is it a motherboard issue or is it because of cold moisturous weather here and laptop takes time to get warm up?" Should I show it to HP Service center?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you are having a problem getting your notebook to boot up normally. As for what is causing the problem the blinking Caps Lock should tell us what is causing the problem as it should be blinking in a pattern. This HP document Computer Does Not Start and LEDs blink has a chart that will tell you what the blink codes mean.

Problem with WRT54G. All lights are Blinking

I do not know very much about technology and my router stopped working correctly. Now, the lights of Power, Internet, and the ones of the numbers 1 and 3 are blinking and the wireless connection does not work. Can anyone explain me what to do to solve this? I will be very grateful. Javier

hi... power cycle the n/w by unplugging power cable of modem and router, by unplugging power cable of modem and router...wait for couple of minutes, power up the modem first and once modem is rebooted power up the router, check whether lights stopped blinking or not, if lights are still blinking in that case you may need to reset the router back to factory default settings by pressing reset button on the back panel of the router but before you can reset the router let me know which internet connection are you using...so that i can tell you step by step configuration of the router...

Error message, all lights blinking on F380

My printer has been checked over and over. Message comes up as error..all lights blink. The cartridge will not center. I have removed and reinstalled. The paper is not jammed, the cartridges read full., but all lights keep blinking.indicating paper and cartridges.I have gone over every troubleshooting option.The cartridges move back and forth freely, but instead of centering the always rest at right side of printer when I look into inside of printer. Ihave removed back,there are no blocages

It might be going bad, I hear the motorola modems tend to overheat. If I were you I'd take the top off the modem and just leave it with the top of the plastic cover off so it won't overheat. Another thing you could try is a different power adapter of the same voltage and see if that's what's going bad. Let us know what happens.

Toner lights and power light blinks and printer won't work

The ink lights are blinking in sequence along with the power button. I have changed all of the ink cartridges with the correct 920 type and have made sure they are all seated correctly. I have also flipped the cartridge carrier lever and reset that. Everything seams to be fine. My computer tells me that all the ink levels are full after inserting the new cartridges. I have rebooted the printer with and without the usb connection, cleared all printer jobs and it still keeps blinking and won't print. What else can I do?? Appreciate any suggestions.

I understand you're experiencing printer issues. I would like to help!
I would recommend performing a power reset on the printer. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

BEFW11S4 - Internet light keeps blinking

I recently had to format my PC due to a hard drive issue. I Have Comcast internet service (CABLE INTERNET) and my router hooked up to my workstation,. I first unplugged my router before the format. Reformatted my PC and plugged my router back in. When I plugged it back in I saw a static bolt come from the plug head but it still powered on fine. The "Wireless" part works fine. My laptop can see the router BUT my internet lite keeps blinking when I tried to use the router from my wired PC. I checked all the setup but IM not sure what’s going on? Everything seems set up fine. The "internet" light is blinking erratically and I don’t remember it ever doing that. Is my router shot? PLEASE HELP! Ryan

well if the internet light is blinking that means modem and router is communicating with each other... if internet is not working through the router try following steps...connect modem >> router >> hardwired pc, reset the router by pressing reset button on router about 30 seconds, release the reset button and power cycle the n/w, power down the router and modem, wait for couple of minutes and power up the modem first once modem is rebooted, power up the router check whether it works or not, if it still doesn't work logon to router's setup page, open I.E. and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1, it would ask for username and password, put "admin" as password without any username, click on MAC address clone, enable it and click "clone" save the settings, power cycle the n/w... check whether it works for you, if you have any problem let me know.

WRT54G not working....all lights on

Last night my router was working fine. Xbox 360 was connected to Xbox Live and I was on the Internet on my PC. Then, I lost my connection all of a sudden. Connecting PC directly to the modem works fine, so it is definitely a router issue. Now, when I plug in the router, all the lights come on (except the Internet light). Power light blinks. (I understand this may be a firmware issue, but how can I upgrade the firmware if can't connect to the Internet thru the router?) I tried resetting the router and that didn't work. Any ideas?

Sounds like its been what they call "Bricked" or dead in other words. What version and how old? Can you ping the router?

The update failed - using a USB to microUSB lead (that Apple annoyingly don't include!), try to restore the AppleTV software to current version software using instructions here:

Pay attention to differences in power connection depending on whether or not you have AppleTV2 or AppleTV 3.

Keeps rebooting. all lights on

at 1st Laptop had just 2 lights every time i plug in battery or power -they been cvharge and power on butten -for like 1-2 sec and pc dead.
later i just left it on charge and it started to reboot,
all lights on CDrom/.HDD boots and all goes black again. and again all lights on it boots and all dead.and it keeps going..
i removed bios battery for like 30 min. pluged in and still same...
if some1 know how 2 fix it pls help. or whats the problem ?

When you connect the Ethernet cable, it shuts off the wireless in the printer. The wireless devices have been connected to the router is that right?

Amber Light Keeps Blinking

Amber light keeps blinking. I have been unable to set up wireless and never get a green light. Connection to internet works via cable to the Airport base station. I have done numerous resets and with power on off cycle per instructions on page 29. This is a brand new unit, arrived today, so it has never been working. I have hit the reset button both with power on and while powering up. Did a firmware update too. Still no luck. Is this a defective unit since it will not reset? I have also done complete resets with the DSL modem cycled off and back on, Base station off and brought back to power, and MacBook Pro cycled on and off too.
Should I call the vendor and ask for a replacement?

A persistent, flashing amber light indicates that any of the several potential conditions may require your attention:
o The base station has not yet been configured because it is new, or the reset switch has been set.
o You have selected a security configuration that is not recommended.
o One of several other conditions, such as a disconnected Ethernet cable or invalid IP address has been detected.

If you run the AirPort Utility, it will show an amber circle on the summary page next to the area(s) causing the problem. Click on this amber circle and it should provide an explanation.
Please post back what you find.

WRT54G Router - All lights continuously flashing?

This morning my WRT54G's lights (link/act, Full/col, 100) were continuously flashing on and off simultaneously and I'd lost all network connectivity. I've not made any changes (firmware) to the router for about 1 year, and it's been working fine. I've pulled the plug on the router and when the power's back on, the lights go out but still no connectivity.. after a while all the lights start flashing. I'm just wondering if I need to buy a new one

WRV200 Wireless light keeps blinking, no clients connected.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but im wondering why my linksys wrv200 wireless light on the router keeps blinking even though my wireless laptop is not turned on? I checked the router status and no other clients are connected so im puzzled as to why the wireless activity light is blinking which shows activity as per the manual.
Is this normal??

The DHCP client table only contains the computers which requested an IP address from your router. Any device/computer with a static IP address will never appear in that list. You cannot tell if a wireless client with a static IP address is still connected or not.
Wireless clients may (more likely) appear in the wireless client list. I don't know if the WRV200 has it or not. Usually you'll find the wireless client list by going to the wireless MAC filter setup tab. Enable the filter if it is not enabled (no need to save the setting), press edit filter list, and it pops up a window where you have another button "wireless client mac list". That button shows you a window of active and inactive wireless clients with their IP address. Any static IP address client should appear there, too. (If the list is not there, search the manual for it...)
You could make another test: change the SSID temporarily on the router to something else. A longer random string. Setup WPA2 with a random preshared key. Save the settings. Disconnect all computers from the router. Still blinking? Unplug the modem connection from the router. Still blinking? If the router is still blinking with nothing wired to it and a wireless network that nobody knows (yet), well, that should clearly indicate a router problem (or at least a wireless light problem). If that is the case it should not be too hard to bring the router back to the shop and show them what is happening.Message Edited by gv on 12-18-200605:43 PM

I have had my Ipod shuffle 2nd gen pluged in for approx 6hrs and it is not charging. Keeps blinking orange. Do I need to regester it. Actually I have 3 that have the same problem. santa Claus brought them for boys all three of the same and all have the same problem

still charging. Read the "Quick Start" guide again.

Ummm... since you are aware that it's charging WHILE even while the orange LED is blinking, are you allowing it to do so for 4-6 hours, or more? The 4 hour charge time Apple quotes is a rather optimistic estimate... To actually check battery charge status you must remove it from the dock AND cycle the ON/OFF switch; the status LED will show green, orange, red, or nothing to indicate charge level.
I can't believe so many people are having the same
problem. I find it hard to believe this many people
have the same problem and Apple doesn't post a
solution for it. Is their product just that crappy???
