WRT54GS fails every day 16:30

Greetings,
At my office for the past two weeks, the wireless connection has failed every day at the same time: 4:30pm. I have bypassed the router completely and am able to connect to the internet via cable connection during that time. The modem shows no interruption.
I'm not sure what my next troubleshooting steps would be...any words of advice?

Maybe you changed your router settings(Access Restriction or so)...Just reset the router to factory defaults...
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Also disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer before trying to access the setup page...

If this is R/3, then none of the above jobs should exist in the system, if scheduled by default with other standard jobs, then these should be removed

Apple ID password failing every day

This is getting very frustrating, but the password on my Apple ID is failing every day, sometimes more than once a day. I reset it on every device, and it works for a couple hours, then I have to reset it. Not difficult, but it is a pain. This has been going on for months. Any suggestions?

Exchange password failing every day

every day i get an error message that my exchange email password is incorrect. sometimes a window will come up requesting i input the new one, but when i enter there it doesn't work. i have to go into settings and reenter. is anyone else having this issue?

Yahoo! iChat Login Fails every Day

Every day i start ichat and all the accounts log-in just fine. except the yahoo account, which keeps asking me for a password, which even if entered properly won't get accepted. after a while i eventually gave up and stopped using ichat for Yahoo.
strangely enough a few weeks later i tried it again and it logged me in without a problem, which lasted exactly for a day. and then i was back to the same behavior.
i figured that what "made it work" was to log-in to yahoo's website with my Y! ID and then iChat would also allow to login properly. So now, every morning i first log in to yahoo's website, then open ichat and it works ... yet it is VERY annoying.
any other yahoo IM client (adium or yahoo messenger) do not have this bahvior. has anyone figured out how to get ichat to log into yahoo without all those issues?

Are you using iChat 6 or Messages in Mountain Lion ?
It seems in both versions the info in the App Menu > Preferences > Accounts > Yahoo Account only lists the Account info and nothing about the server and ports it is using.
The Yahoo option works by using a different plug-in to iChat (or Messages) compared to a Jabber or an AIM Account and is not using the IMAgent that the others use.
The Yahoo account logs in on port 443 to api.login.yahoo.com
It also logs in to a Buddy Image servers to get Buddy pics on port 80 plus two other servers that are probably to do with Status of your Buddy List and their developer server.
Most routers would have these ports open.
The Mac Firewall, if ON, should be set to Allowed Signed Software and iChat should be in the list
You should also see IMAgent and IMServicePlugInAgent for the Yahoo option listed.

Rollup process is failing every day

Bi statistics data is loading to info cube and this cube have Adjust process in process chain.
Adjust process is failing daily and giving following 18 messages and showing 16th point as error.
And one more thing is, even though Adjust process is failu2026.at cube level compression of aggregates and rollup of cube and aggregates is happening daily but in process chain this adjust process is failing daily.

Why does the 3g data network fail every day?

Goes down for at least an hour a day

Is this in a highly populated area? Is it the same location and time usually?

HT3275 My Time Capsule keeps saying "backup failed" due to the network password not being correct. I have not changed my password and every day I have to type the same one in and then it works. But then the same thing happens the next day. Can anyone help

Few days back I configured transactional replication b/w 2 server after that every day I noticed
Expired subscription clean up job fails on publisher server but not any effect to replication it's going smooth.
ERROR MESSAGE:
Only functions and some extended stored procedures can be executed from within a function. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 557). The step failed

Actuvally already I configured replication for this server 3 database after we moved to another server for some h/w issue.
that time we deleted subscriber and publisher and break transaction replication.
after new server configuration it's allow to configure replication for 2 databases only.
as per above query I found category 1 for 3 databases but 2 databases are in replication.
the another databases that showing category 1 is past in replication, but it doesn't allow to configure replication.
please give me solution for same .

WRT54G-Need to reconnect every day / firmware question

So each day my router stops connecting to the internet. I go through the same troubleshooting wizard, and each time all I do is unplug and plug back in the router as per it's directions. While this works, I don't want to do it every day. I'm trying to download the firmware for it, but I guess I'm not used to downloading firmware for things because the download is trying to run on a flash player on my computer >. I thought they were supposed to be executables? T.I.A. all.

Well, I updated the firmware, but still it has reset again today. The usual message I get when I open Easylink Advisor is "Different Network Detected". It can't connect to the internet, and I need to setup my network again, detecting my router, entering Network Name and unplugging the power so it will find it again. This computer doesn't connect to it wirelessly, it's a direct connection, and none of the cords and cables are ever touched, all of them are always plugged in. Nothing is being done wrong, it connects fine until one point during the day then it just stops and I need to go through the setup again. Anybody recognize the problem? Thanks.

Mac Pro turns itself on every day at the same time

My Mac Pro suddenly decided to start turning itself on every day at 6:00:12pm local time (12:00:12AM GMT). It turns on at exactly 12 seconds after 6:00pm every day.
I recently upgraded to OSX 10.5 and installed the point update. It did it before the point update and continues to after the point update.
I have had it since April and it has never done this before. It did NOT do this under 10.4.
I have the options in system settings to NOT wake on LAN event and NOT restart after power failure. It is NOT set to automatically turn on but it is set to automatically turn itself off at 1:00am.
These settings have not changed since 10.4 and I have verified them. No other software has recently been installed since the update to 10.5. I did update the Wacom driver to the new Leopard driver. That is all. I have the Wacom tablet unplugged from the computer.
Any ideas?

Updates installed by Software Update are "delta" updates - they go from 10.x.y to 10.x.y+1, and are customized for a particular Mac model. It appears that in this case they also patch some files instead of replacing them fully. The "combo" update will update 10.x.anything to the latest 10.x.y, it'll update any Mac model, and in this case it appears they contain full files instead of patches. The delta updater for 10.5.1 is about 39 MB; the combo updater is about 110 MB. You can download the combo updater from the Support site. Sites such as www.macfixit.com often recommend installing the combo updater instead of, or after, the delta updater, as it often solves mysterious problems. One specific example is the numerous "SUID" messages when doing a "repair permissions" - the combo update gets rid of all but one, and that one is specifically stated by Apple to be okay. Of course, no guarantees, but the combo updater is a reasonable thing to try.

Thanks for your reply Michalo. I am in India and here Apple care does not work on Sundays. I have been without my phone for the entire day. Perhaps tomorrow will bring some respite. There is not solution to "error (-1)" on any forum it seems. I found one forum which suggested use of Tiny Umbrella. Any idea about that?

Wireless Router cuts out at the same time every day.

I'm having an issue with my WRT160N router. I'm noticing that my internet connection cuts out for about 5 minutes every day in between 5:30-7:30 pm. Without fail, every single day, I can count on it going out for about 5 minutes during this time. The desktop, which is wired, remains working during this time. I'm at my wits end here, since I'm an online student, and this is my best time to schedule quizzes and exams.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your network is secured?
If the network is not secured than put some security on the router or else if the network is already secured then try to increase the security level by WPA or WPA2.
Also change the network name to some unique name.

Click on the Wireless tab
- Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
- Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box.
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WPA, For Encryption, select TKIP...For Passphrase input your desired WPA Key.
NOTE : Passphrase should be more that 8 characters...

Computer turns itself on every day at 8PM PLEASE HELP

Hi I have an imac running 10.5.4. It turns itself on every day at 8PM. My auto on setting are unselected in the power options, and the auto off is set to 1:30 AM. I am also running windos xp with VM Fusionware. Can anyone please help?

I have the older intel based mac and I unplugged everything from the machine for 20 seconds to reset the SMC and it still turns on at 8pm every day. any other suggestions??

Process chains problems : Working every day with error (red)

Hi All,
I have a next question, about process chains problem.
When I start my process chains immediate, then working without errors, but I want this process chains work every day and chainged properties, selected date/time and periodicaly (every day) but now it work with error.
How to I find problems? What are yours offers?
p.s. I see logs, but every day have diffence between errors.

HI,
just check the time which you have given is OK or is overlappintg with some other job which is locking your table in process chain
or is colliding with attribute change run
or it fails because of lack of background processes.
There could be numerious reasons and you need to analyze the log for this.
But as you said the job is failing everday for different reasons..try to find the most common errors and try to remove it or mention that here.
