WRT54GX Version1 Firmware Error "Error(12) about length during file upgrade"

Does anyone know how to solve the following firmware upgrade problem.  About 1/10 the way into the firmware upgrade I get the following error message  "Error(12) about length during file upgrade".
THanks

  • Getting an error message about a missing file when I try to open Firefox

When I tried to open Firefox today I received a message about a missing file (Wrusr.ddl) and that Firefox was not able to open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it did not work. I have no idea what that file is or where is went. I used Firefox 2 days ago and it was working fine. The only thing that changed between then and today was that I renewed my antivirus software but I definitely did not delete any files and I made sure that Firefox is allowed to access the internet. I've been using that same software (Webroot) with Firefox for years and never had any issues before today. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have included a screenshot of the error message below.

hello angelag.132, the WRusr.dll file is part of Webroot SecureAnywhere - try to reinstall or uninstall that software.

  • Keep getting error message about Dynamically-related files when trying to view in "Live" mode

I'm very new to all of this, but I have been following Adobe tutorials to try and get everything working (Setting up a PHP development environment for Dreamweaver | Adobe Developer Connection) . The database connection test in this section goes through fine, but then when I go to view the final step, viewing comments.php in "Live View," I get an error across the top. I have played with it a bit, so the error message changes somewhat, but basically it tells me that I have dynamically-related files that can't be loaded. Currently, it is because they can't be resolved, previously, it was because they could not be discovered. (I tried the "Discover" option which failed, after which I resorted to the "Setup" option, in which I changed my root folder from htcdocs to htcsdocs/kitchengallery — where I had all my PHP and site files — and tried again to no avail. So then I changed the settings in MAMP to correspond with the change from htcdocs to htcdocs/kitchengallery. Still no luck).
    I am using Dreamweaver CS6.
I'm not sure what information someone might need to help me dig deeper into this issue, but I'm all ears!

Usually this is caused when antivirus "Grabs" the drive to scan it in the background, and/or windows itself "Grabs" the drive for indexing and things. It also happens if you play a song off the ipod thru iTUnes, then stop it.
Usually rebooting will force it to let go

  • I keep getting an error message about missing registry files for burning cd's.

This stupid error message keeps popping up when I start Itunes and I can't figure out how to fix it.  I have completely removed all apple products and reinstalled Itunes just like they told me to and it still doesn't work.  Can somebody PLEASE help me with this so I can continue burning discs.  If this can't be fixed I will be forced to go to another music player and I dont' want to do that.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

  • Need an error for no keyFieldValue during File Content Conversion

    Hi Gurus,
I am working on a scenario where I have to convert a CSV file structure.
Each sender file is having "END" in the last so that the structure looks like as follows:
    I,103468,-No Entry-,299103468002,0.010,50.000,1.000,-49.990,None,,0,Diab
    S,3101,100.125,abc,abc
    END
Now the requirement is, if file does not contain "END" in the last then PI should not pick this file.
This is only possible if I make "END" as a Key Field and for "keyFieldValue" I assign value "END" with either end separator or field fixed length functions.
But the default behaviour of PI is, even if I create key field value, if it is not available in the file, PI would ignore that record.
I tried all possible combination in the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2c/181077dd7d6b4ea6a8029b20bf7e55/content.htm
but for key field value it is clearly written that:
"Specify the value of the key field for the structure. This entry is mandatory if the key field name is set. Otherwise, the entry is ignored."
Is there any way by which I get error if "END" is not available?
One of the alternatives which I see is to create OS level scripts and read the content. If I don't get "END" in the last then put the same file in a different, temporary directory. And once processing is done I pull it back to original directory
Any suggestion on this would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Vikash

    Dear Mickael,
I tried putting "1" in the last and executed but it did not helped. File is executing successfully even if there is no END in the last.
so the current behaviour is: whatever written or even blank in the last, if it is not "END", it is ignored. If I mention "END" in the last, it is always picked by FCC and inserted in the XML.
Do you think some other way of proceeding?
    Thanks in advance.

    Vikash

    Hi Gopi,
Are you trying to add the hosts to your OEM 12c, and then choosing "Deploy Agent"?
Please check this error message about the image file..
The image file C:\oracle\core\12.1.0.2.0\jdk\bin\java.exe is valid, but is for a
machine type other than the current machine.
    "Validating OMS_HOST & EM_UPLOAD_PORT failed."
If the agents are deployed earlier from another OEM12c server, please undeploy them and then try.
    Thanks,
    Rajiv.

  • Windows service, error Maximum request length exceeded

What is causing this error, from the windows service?
There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. ---> Maximum request length exceeded

    Hi Nick,
Per my understanding you got this error "Maximum request length exceeded" about your reporting services, right?
It seems the issue is caused by the request reach the max length.
To solve the issue, please made the changes in web.config of both the Report Server and the Report Manager:
    <httpRuntime executionTimeout = "9000" maxRequestLength=" 2097151" />
If the solution above does not help, please post the error logs of the Report Server. The error logs will help us more about troubleshooting and also provide us details information about what actions you are doing when causing this error.
We can get the logs from:
    <Install Driver>:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.<X>\Reporting Services\LogFiles
Please feel free to ask, if you have any more questions.

  • Error : Bigger type length than Maximum

    Hi
I am using JBOSS Server-with ORACLE 10g-xe(express edition),Thru prepare statement it works well,But thru callable statement it is not working .I am getting the following error
Bigger type length than Maximum .
    I am using
    jdbc:oracle:thin@host_name:1521:service_name & classes12.jar
    what is the solution?
    by
    balamuralikrishnan.s

This is a jdbc specific error. Moving to OCI drivers should trash the problem.
If you aren't able to use OCI drivers, then you should also try to upgrade your jdbc drivers to the newest version. I read about problems with a plus ( + ) in a varchar2 string causing this problem, also I heard stories about blobs, etc. etc. The error is therefore in my opinion a rather generic one that should be described in more detail by Oracle.

  • Firmware error

Just got a replacement mini back. Previous one stopped adding music after 3 months and said firmware error. Hooked this new one up. Went to 2005-06-26 and hit restore to convert the mini over to PC format. Update gives me "Firmware update failure. Disk write error" and mini is now at Folder! Tried reset with the hold-menu-select method and it lets me try to restore again, but gives the same old error when I do. DOn't even have the plastic off this one. Is it a return to Apple?

    No, Not Yet David.

    Good Luck.

  • Firmware Error, help please?

Well... I bought my mini in July. It was working fine until the other day when I connected it to the computer to update the songs. It suddenly had the folder and sad ipod error. I tried to restore it and it had the error, "Firmware error, cannot write to disk." I tried putting it in Disk Mode, it worked but I still can't update it. I can't start it either, I'm not sure if I should send it in or not.

Apparently, it sounds like there's a problem with your iPod's hard disk; honestly, I don't think there's anything at home you can do about it.
    Send it in.

  • I updated iTunes from the update message and now my Windows computer (at work- I use Mac at home) keeps sending me error messages about MobileMe and iTunes. It indicates a .dll error but I can't find any such file. I tried removing the entire ITunes app.

I downloaded an update to my iTunes app on my work Windows computer and now I am constantly getting error messages about MobileMe, when I download a webpage and marked slowness of my Outlook application. I tried removing iTunes and reloading directly from the Apple site, but no change. One of my peers is having the same issue and messages.
    Any suggestions?

Just to conclude, and give hope for any still suffering, I succesfully upgraded my iPAD to ios5 yesterday evening.
I did have a conversation with Apple support a couple of days agao, in line with many others I was given various reasons why things oustide the Apple environment might be the root cause such as
    - ports blocked on the network I was using (although when I asked which ones they weren't certain - "80 and 442 we think" was the response
    - a fault on the iPAD
    - slow network connection
The more interesting part of teh conversation was Apple was that the firmware update part of the install actually involves quite a lot of interaction with apple servers. My conclusion would be that the well documented performance problems in the early days after ios5 release were the root cause of my problem - reference to network ports. iPAD faults were just a smokescreen.
My key learning - don't upgrade soon after a major release, I already knew this but when offered an update I didn't go back and check precisley when it had been released so I should have paid more attention :-)

Okay so my phone crashes approximately every 30 seconds. I have tried resetting it by DPU as well as on the phone itself.  Once in awhile i get an error message about unknown error 1.  If i look at the diagnosis or if runs on itunes i get the following.  When I called the support at AT&T they think the phone is shot and it is a hardware thing but i have a hard time believing that when it happened when I sync'd it to my computer.  It did get progressively worse though, at first it crashed not that often and then got worse.  So restores are failing, recovery, everything.  Anyone run into this?

I also get a system crash reporter key of c392e98c929aa0b351037af00d75d08aeadc843c    bug type 110
    incident identifier  8ff84a87

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

How do I retain my apps after I change my apple ID? Right now I'm unable to update any of the apps with the old apple ID. I get an error message about an invalid id or Password. If I delete my appos and start over, I may lose the apps that I purchased (like the ones for $5 +....

Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well.

Can anyone help me? The iTunes update corrupted my program. I uninstalled, and then reinstalled iTunes; only to find an error message about iTunes Helper. After several fruitless, repeat attempts, I am at a loss. Please help…

    Many thanks.
With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)
