WRT610N as access point

Question

I am using a Fios actiontec router.  I would like to be able to use the WRT610N as  a wireless access point or as a 2nd router and turn off the Actiontec wireless feature.  I cannot find any information on how to make the WRT610N into an access point or a 2nd router on any of the Linksys support or documentation.  Is the WRT610N capable of either of these 2 scenarios?

Configuration for NAT behind NAT connection
Before doing the following steps, you have to connect the modem to the
router's Internet Port and the computer to the Ethernet Port Number 1.
Step 01 : - Reset the router
1. Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
2. Then, unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for
another 30 Seconds.
3. Plug back the power back in, and keep holding down the reset button
for 30 Seconds.
4. Release the reset button.
Step 02 : To Configure the router for Wired Connection.
Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet
Explorer and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When
it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field
empty and provide password as “admin "" all in lower cases and then
click on ok.
On the main setup page the ""Internet Connection Type"" should be
on ""Obtain IP Automatically - DHCP “. Change the Local ip address to
192.168.2.1. Then click on “Save settings”. After close this page. Now
turn OFF the power of the router and the modem, after 10 seconds turn
ON your modem first and then router. Now try to get online wired.
To do the wireless settings:-
Please access the setup page of the router by launching an Internet

click on ok.
Click on the Wireless tab
- Here Wireless Network mode should be mixed
- Provide any name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box, all in
lower cases without any spaces in between.
- Set wireless channel to 11
- And wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on save
settings.
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the
Network Identifier.
For Wireless Security : -
Now Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security.
Change the Wireless security mode to WEP
Encryption should be 64 bits.
Leave the Pass phrase blank, don't type in anything.
And under WEP Key 1 type in any 10 numbers please.
Click on save settings.
Please make a note of WEP Key 1 as this is the Security Key for the
Wireless Network.
