WS14000133 Graphic View - green line

Hi friends,
I have a question that, When i goto swi2_freq t.code to see SC graphic view  of a SC, I can see that 'Shopping cart created' Event is not starting point but the parallel process 'Workflow started' is showing starting point as GREEN Line indicates. Can any one please give why Green line is not showing as starting from 'Shopping cart created' . But WS14000133 has event linkage (Triggering event )as BUS2121-SAVED then why SAVED event green line is not showing in the graphic view.
John.

Hi All
I am using Application controlled WF-WS14000133. Triggering event (BUS2121-SAVED) is activated via SWE2. I am creating the shopping cart but i am not able to see the event-SAVED in event trace (SWEL, eventhough it is swiched on).
If i check in SWI2_FREQ, workflow got triggered and starts from Workflow started(green line), not from the event. But if i deactivate this event linkage in SWE2, i am not able to order a shopping cart (says, "No Approval workflow found").
Please let me know, why the event is not traceable from SWEL. I have worked in R/3 workflow but new to SRM.

  • Red vs green line above graphic in the timeline

I recently needed to trash my FCP preferences and now whenever I add a graphic to the timeline, I get a red line above it indicating that the graphic needs to be rendered before I can view it.  Before trashing the preferences, I use to get a green line above the graphics which would allow me to at least see the graphic over the video without rendering it.
Any idea how I can get back to the green line?
    thanks.

You may want to increase the amount of RAM dedicated to the "stills cache". The setting can be found in the FCP system preferences>Memory.
If you have 4 GB or more in the machine, bump this up above the 10% or so that is the default setting.

  • 24" iMac displaying small green lines

I'm having a big problem with my iMac 24" when I'm using Aperture or iTunes music videos in full screen mode.
I am getting groups of little green lines about an inch long and a pixel or two deep, stacked in groups of five or six on top of each other like a small wavey flag. These little "flags" are spread all over the display and make for one annoying interuption of either the video I'm watching or the photos I'm editing in Aperture.
Sometimes when I'm scrolling through my shots quickly in Aperture the lines become much larger and then red and blue blocks of lines appear, they disappear again when I give the scrolling a rest for a minute or so.
I'm using 2Gb RAM, the 9600 graphics card and all my software is bang up to date.
    Any ideas any one?
    John
    Cheers
    iMac 24'   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   2GB RAM, 256Mb,

Clean erase and reinstall to factory conditions did not help with the graphic corruption/glitches.
Here are the actions I've performed so far:
•Got iMac on Tuesday (three days ago) and proceeded to immediately install all updates, including the EFI 1.1 firmware update
•Installed Aperture, the problem started showing itself sporadically
•As I imported more and more Aperture projects the problem started getting more widespread, it started showing up in Dashboard (problem is equal on both internal and external monitors)
•World of Warcraft started showing the flags/squares/lines in the menus, as well as major geometrical corruption in the 3d views (planes intersecting the world, characters warping, etc.)
•Reset SMC (unplug all cables, wait 15 seconds, plug back in without holding power button)
    •Reset PRAM/NVRAM (several times)
•Ran without any software in background
•Ran Memtest (5-pass, single user mode for max available RAM) all tests passed
•Ran Apple Hardware Test three times, once the standard test, twice the extended, none show any errors
•Wipe drive, reinstall from restore discs, no updates installed whatsoever, no additional software installed, and it still exhibits the error inside of PhotoBooth, just as it did before, and just as it did for Janet in the post I link to above. PhotoBooth seems to show the most artifacting when the effects are turned on.
I'm taking it in tonight, we'll see what they say. I will keep this thread updated with my actions and any responses I receive.
One thing I feel I should mention is that I don't think it's Aperture's fault. It's just the main indicator for us since we all use it and it makes heavy use of the GPU.
Also, my problem started out small and got bigger over the 2/3 days I was using the machine, indicative of a developing hardware issue. If it was a software glitch, it would be less likely to behave that way.

  • Green Line on right side of exported video Premiere Pro

Hi, when I export my footage I am seeing a slight green line on the right edge of the frame, no matter the media player and is visible as well on youtube and vimeo uploads.  I am making sure it is exported at 1280x720 as that is the aspect ratio I am recording at on my GH2. The GH2 are avchd files or .mts files natively, so when I import them I convert them using Adobe Media Encoder set to ProRes 720 60fps.  This green line does not occur on every clip when I export, just the majority of them.  I am also using Premiere Pro CC 2014 with the latest version updated. Please help!

Yes looks very similar to what I am getting with the cube transition.
It is probably something to do with the MPE and Direct X or Acc Graphics used to process the clips during the transition, only a guess for a non programmer like myself lol.
Yes, bet it is one of those bugs that has slipped through, when viewing as a screen shot it is hard to see it at stop so possible more so even in motion, but yes it is there and as I posted in my other thread, I am seeing it also, I am not green screening neither.
As say, for TV's then probably 99% of the time it will be hidden in the overscan area but for some and for Web Based viewing, I as you, would rather it not be there.
As say it is kinda like the feature in EDIUS Called enable transition handling in over scan, where the default for a new project is set at 3%.
Anyway, I have kinda solved my problem with the cube spin transition by subscribing to Red Giant Universe at $10 a month, they have a nice set of transitions that work well in premiere Pro CC, I am currently on version 8.0.1. Though I do plan on upgrading as and when to the newest one 8.0.2. Though doubt that the original issue has been fixed, but for now, I am using Red Giant.
FInally, I notice that if I click on the settings box in Red Giant Transitions, then it crashes Premiere Pro with this message, so I avoid doing that, but still work mentioning, probably should put this into a fresh post of submit bug report, I will also contact Red Giant to make them aware of it also.

  • Annoying green line flickering below Compaq Cq40 LCD

i dunno if it's because of the new BIOS i installed that caused it i upgraded from F.24 to F.30 version and after that suddenly there's this annoying green line flickering below my lcd screen..and my CPU temp now reaches to 60+ degree celcius whereas before the upgrade my CPU temp only rises up to 32 degree celcius.
I already flashed the F.30 BIOS and now it's back to F.24 the temp went down but the green line flickering below my LCD is still there..i checked for new updates for the graphics card but it says that it's up to date. so theBIOS has nothing to do with the flickering line after all i thought it was caused by the high temperature. Bought my laptop in Singapore last February no problems encountered until this one
BTW my laptop is a Compaq CQ40 319TU with Licensed Vista Home Premium OS.

  • Strange green lines with ATI 4850 iMac in Aperture, then crash.

Well, I have been running my iMac, 3GHZ, ATI 4850 for about a week now. I have had 2 lockups in OSX, 1 in boot camp and 1 graphics crash.
In OSX, all the crashes/lock-ups happen after I get these strange green lines, artifacts, that run across part of my screen. They change in length but generally always run horizontal. I can seem to find a way to post pictures here, but I have a couple screen grabs here:
    http://atothe420k.blogspot.com/
Since I have to power off in the middle of Aperture, I am also getting corrupt databases, which take forever to rebuild.

Well, I called into Apple Care, after my machine crashed again twice today, once in a web browser and once under EveOnline. The person said to download and use some fan control software. It installed, but didn't do much, couldn't get it to change fan speed or anything else.
I installed iStatPro, which is great, and kept checking the temp of the ATI card, it would crash when the temp was up around 65-70 degrees C. Not sure if that is high or not.

  • My 27" iMac displays vertical green lines when turned on and then will not boot up

Can anyone tell me why my 27" iMac displays vertical green lines when it is turned on and then will not boot up?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The display or graphic card are damaged. The only thing you can do is to take your computer to an Apple Store or reseller to get your computer repaired.
If you use an external display with your Mac, connect it to your computer and see if these lines appear on the external display. If so, it's a graphic card problem

  • How can I remove red and green lines from a footage?

I cannot remove red and green lines without removing the title graphics that I have in my footage. How can I solve the problem and keep the graphic there?

    @Ann Benns
I will try to do that. Thank you!
    @Bill Hunt
Well, the raw footage is an avi filmed with a handycam. This error occurred
the next day after I finished the editing in Adobe Premiere cs5. It might
be something wrong with the title graphics that I use, but still if there's
a solution I would like to find it out as this error occurred before.

  • Webcam has a green line through it.

I regularly use Facetime and Skype and use my webcam but I have noticed thin green lines appear in the same place when I view the camera image, what happening?
Here are the specs on my mac if they make any difference
And here is a screen shot of what the green lines look like (I put a piece of paper behind it so you can see them and put red rings so you know where to look)
It doesn't make a huge difference but I would like to know if there is a way to get rid of them because I have onlt had the iMac for a few months and they have already appeared.
    Thanks, James.

Okay, thanks for the help, much appreciated, I will look into it, might call up apple to see if they have had any other complaints about it and if they can do anything about it. It isn't too much of a problem at the moment as my video quality isn't high enough for other people to actually notice just worried about it getting worse in the future.
    Thanks for the hep though

  • Thin green line at the bottom of my QT exports from FCP

    Hello,
I have exported a series of QT vids from FCP. Each QT video file exhibits a thin (2 px)green line at the bottom of the player window. I can't seem to narrow down what is making this line appear. Can you please offer some suggestions? Remedies?
    Thanks so much in advance.
    Utilizing:
    Quicktime Conversion
    optimized for broadband Large
    H.264 codec for HD footage
Custom 660x377 frame size (varied to see if that would fix the issue, did not)

So you only see it in QT Fullscreen mode?
The reason I'm pressing this is that I've seen green lines LIKE this with issues resulting from what seems like a very hot video card.
Usually they 1) aren't that crisp and 2) don't always show up each time you view it.
And this is AFTER compression, yes? For sure this isn't on the original material? Make sure you set your canvas in FCP to 100% size to see all of the lines.

  • Imac freezes with horizontal green lines

My Imac crashed the other day with green lines horizontally across the screen, the mouse would react and move around, but could not open any apps. We took it to get repaired at Core Mac and he said it worked fine. We brought it home today and it crashed again. I think it may be the graphics card? Can anyone help?
    Thanks
Not sure what model as I cannot check right now.

I suspect a hardware problem.  I'd recommend taking it to your local Apple Store or AASP. You can try to run Apple Hardware Test though in Extended Mode.

  • Vertical Green Lines

I am having a VERY annoying problem in final cut. All of my footage now has green vertical lines running through it.
Here is a picture of what it looks like:
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/36458218@N08/4731527252/
When I open the source footage from the browser, everything looks fine, but the same clips in the timeline do not. If I do "replace edits" on all of the cuts, it fixes the problem temporarily, but soon it comes back. Exporting the video sometimes seems to help (i exported it once as prores from FCP and it was fine, I exported it once as H.264 through compressor and it had the lines).
I have also tried using a preferences manager to backup, delete, and restore my preferences but that didn't help.
Making a new sequence or even project and copying the cut over didnt help.
For the record this only seems to have affected this one project so far that I have noticed. I have opened the project on another mac and it worked fine.
Any ideas?? I am stumped. It sounds like it is my final cut, computer, or maybe video card? Im not sure and could use any advice you have.
    Thank you

Called apple care today and they suggested I try the exported files on another comp to see if they work. They also suggested I make a new user account and try to run FCP there.
I don't have immediate access to another computer, BUT I did try the new account. Opening the exported H.264 file that I made in my main account still showed the green lines, but when I started FCP the problem didn't seem to be there (although since the problem was sometimes spotty that doesn't necessarily mean its fixed but I played with it for a while and seemed to be working). Also, I was able to export a copy of the film that did NOT have the green lines on it (when viewed from either account). So this leads me to believe it is a software based issue of some kind, although I can't really think of what to do.
    Any suggestions?

  • Satellite L350D-216: Green lines, dots and shadows.

    Hello all.
About three days ago, I purchased a laptop (Toshiba L350D, released about July '09 I believe) second hand on a good deal.
I turn it on today, to discover a series of weird green lines, dots and shadows, most of which make areas of text hard to read.
You can see them to the right of words and if you look close enough, also surrounding various letters in the Google logo.
Not especially clear here (sorry), but the greyed out words in the address bar are very ghosted.
Also, it appears to have replaced solid areas of colours like grey, with a 'dotty' green colour.
It appears this issue has also spread onto video, where areas of green are now appearing at random points.
I have updated the display drivers with the latest ones available from here, which sadly made no difference.
Any advice on why this suddenly decided to happen and how to get rid of it would be appreciated, I use the laptop for Photoshop and as you can imagine, having areas of green and shadows is rather off-putting when i'm trying to work.

    250 GB HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 32 Bit
    ATI Radeon 3100

If an external display (a monitor plugged into the laptop) shows no sign of the fault you can presume the the graphics chip is not at fault, after all it's working fine on the external monitor! If this is the case you don't need a new motherboard. I have repaired many graphic chip faults on laptop motherboards, and find that toshiba are usually quite good at not getting this type of fault.
I would suggest that the problem is more likely to be related to the cable that connects your screen to the laptops board (this is if the lines are vertical). Try moving the screen about on it's hinge and see if the problem goes, you can also slightly twist the screen and see if the problem goes. If you are not confidant to do the job yourself take it to a confident repair shop and they will be able to diagnose the problem. If the lines are horizontal it may well point to a capacitor problem which once again is not a new motherboard, just a decent repair centre which can identify the fault and repair it by replacing new capacitors on your board.
    Hope this helps.
