WSADMIN: Test webservice - 403 Forbidden

Hi all,
i want to test some webservice in transaction wsadmin. For this purpose i used the J2EE server of XI.
But after a new support package level of XI i can't test my services any more.
The error: 403 Forbidden
You are not authorized to view the requested resource.
Any ideas?

Found the errror by myself.
The new version of PI needs a special J2EE role.

Test of html5 video on website server get 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied

I have been experimenting with html 5 with help from Wyodor to play videos on any browser and hopefully iphone without using Flash. Had it working on my local browsers but wanted to upload it to my website to test it on IE and iphone. But after uploading it, when I went ot the url, I got the error message . . .
403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
I am very neo to html. Really haven't a clue what I'm doing. I'm dangerous in the worst sense of the word. But I am determined that this 60 year old brain is going to conquer this. . .but I need help.
What would be causing this Error? Do you need to see the code to answer that?. . . Cliff

The error usually occurs when the url has no pagename and the folder/directory has no default index.html file in it.
http://www.yourdomain.com/folder/
You can prevent it by using the full URL to the page or renaming the page you want to display to index.html .
See it that helps.
And in Safari, open the Activity window (Command-Option-A) to see what and where the browser is looking for.

Error 403 - Forbidden in WebService

Good Evening,
I'm developing a WebService that connects to a Sharepoint 2007 Server.
In this WebService i got two methods.
One for connecting to Sharepoint;
Dummy method returning a string, like "Hello World"
My problem is when i invoke the method that's responsible for connecting to SharePoint and do some stuff (primarily folders creation), the response from the web service is - 403 - Forbidden.
When i invoke the dummy method the response is "Hello World" as it should.
I'm not understanting. What kind of permissions i must have?! It's something to do with the user in the application pool of the IIS Server? I must have some kind of Authentication for accessing sharepoint from web service?
My configuration is Windows Server 2008 R2 x64, MOSS 2003 and IIS 7.5.
By the way, my web service is running on the same IIS that Sharepoint. Why i do not put the service inside MOSS? Because the System Administrator don't want...go figure.

If i remember correctly, .p12 will have both the public and private key.
You need to convert it to a jks and configure the server to use this jks

I am new to webservice programming. I am trying to consume webservice over https. I am using weblogic 8.1 sp2. I am getting http 403 forbidden error. from the log it seems that ssl handshaking is completing.

I created a webservice, and it working fine in Development and Quality systems. But it is not working in Production system. When trying to click on 'Open Web Service navigator for selected binding' for testing it's giving the following error message.

Please check if the webservice is up and running and also check if there is any authorization required to consume this webservice.
try testing your webservice from sap soap client and se ethe result.

I`d like to get your advice on Server Error 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. I use to visit a webpage with no issues so far but now i getting this error each time i`m trying to get into. Any ideas in how to solve it? A step to step process will be highly appreciated.

PS, I`m using the latest safari 8.0.3 and OS X 10.10.2.

It's an error message from the web server, not from Safari. There's a slight chance that you might be able to clear it as follows.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.

Also keep in mind that I've installed owncloud using the source downloaded from the website. I previously installed using the pacman, but wanted to configure it to be under a sub directory and not as my web root.

403 forbidden error received at Trade Partner side while sending data to XI

Hi XI Experts,
We have a B2B scenario from TP1 to another TP2 via XI in our production system. The interface is working fine and messages are flowing successfully. However, the Trade Partner HUB has decided to implement a new eCommerce Business Platform at their end. That's why they have provided AS2 ID of sender and Receiver to us to make the changes in Quality environment. I have done the same in our Quality system.
Flow: We are able to send the data successfully to the AS2 ID provided by Hubgroup. Where as we are not able to receive any data from HUB.
Last Friday, Hubgroup has received the error while sending data to XI. And in our Sender AS2 channel, we also received the following error.
a) HUB Side error:
                          Here is a copy of the MDN Message send to HUB:
                         The message you sent on "Thu, 14 Oct 2010 07:14:51 GMT" from "XXXXXXXX" to
                        "XXXXXXXXX" with subject "Integrator Message" has been received on 14 Oct

                  I have done the following things: 1) Cache refreshed 2) Recreated the 1st part from HUB to XI. 3) Checked the Agreements and Receiver Determination and also the AS2 ID's 4) Also checked the URL in communication channel. I have created the scenario with out any mapping. I want to receive the data from HUBGROUP with out any changes. For that, I will be using a dummy interface and dummy namespace in configuration.
When we test last night, HUB side they have received 403 forbidden error message and we didn;t receive any message to XI.
Note: XI3.0 version we are using currently. We are upgrading to PI 7.11 in the next month.
Please help me on this.

here are a few things that you can check:
1) Message authentication failed
- Check the authentication certificate settings.
- Disable the u201Cauthentication requiredu201D flag, if messages without authentication are to be received.
2) Partner received HTTP Error 403 u201Cforbiddenu201D.
This error may have different reasons:
a) You or your partner has entered an incorrect AS2 ID for one of the involved parties.
b) A valid sender agreement is missing.
c) There are more then one AS2 sender agreements with the same sender AND receiver party.
d) The corresponding inbound channel is set to inactive.

HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden

Hi ALL
We where testing our scenario using the Test Configuration in Integration Engine.
We have come across the following error in the second step of Determining the receiver.Here is the error message we received...
HTTP connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error: 403 Forbidden URL: _http://SAPXDV01.sap.client1.local:8000/sap/xi/simulation?sap-client=150 User: PIDIRUSER

Example Basicresponse: HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden

Hi,
i installed the developer edition of ocms.
The eclipse plugin works fine.
I was able to deploy the "thirdpartycallcontrol" and to access it via http://localhost:8888/tpcc.
BUT
the basicresponse example does not work. I can deploy it but on
http://localhost:8888/basicresponse
i get HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden
Is this not accessible via webfrontend?
How can i see if this is working? In the documentation the use case is missing....

Basicresponse is a SIP only application, hence it's not available via a web front end. It can be accessed via a test SIP testing tool such as sipp: http://sipp.sourceforge.net/

HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden on Cisco ISE and SCEP RA

Dear Experts,
We are in process of deploying ISE 1.2 in our environment for BYOD.
The initial step of this process is to configure ISE as an SCEP Proxy and it requires certain configuration on the local CA. We have done all the required configurations on the local CA server.
Now, when we try to connect ISE with the local CA using SCEP RA Profiles, it gives "HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden". The URL we are using is http://ipaddress/certsrv/mscep/mscep.dll.
It seems that the local CA is not letting the ISE access the mscep.dll file. Now I dont understand how to allow ISE to access this file or the url. Please advise if there is any step by step process guide. Although, I have followed the ones from Cisco but it doesn't state how to give ISE the required rights for accessing mscep.dll.

You should use this URL:
https://ipaddress/certsrv/mscep
If you try to get the cert from an http address, you will get an error. You should be using https. Also, the mscep.dll should not be part of the URL.
You can test this connectivity from any browser by putting that URL in the sddress bar. You should see a page similar to this:

WSRM messages stuck in PI with HTTP code:403 forbidden

Hi Guys,
We have interface from FILE to WS where file is being sent from third party system to ECC in which we are facing issue.
This service uses HTTPS protocol and while creating the binding in ECC SOAMANAGER we have used communication security as "SSL over HTTP" whereelse in HTTP portocol "none" is selected.
I have tested the wsdl url in browser and is working fine but while sending the message it throwing HTTP code: 403 forbidden error.
Can you help me to resolve this issue?

BizTalk to Web Service - Error - The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

Hi Everyone,
I am connecting to an external web service from my biztalk application through a dynamic send port.
When my biztalk application is trying to send the request message to the web service through the send port, I am getting the following error :
The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
The external web service team have provided a certificate and a private key to install in my server.
I have installed the certificate by double click the .pfx file using the private key and have added the certificate in the host ProcessHostx64.
Still i am getting the same error.
Can someone help on this issue ?

The Private Key should be installed under the user running the BizTalk Server Host. Please confirm that you have done this?
If so, try to make this work in a small .NET test Application before porting it to BizTalk, so that you can confirm that you do have sufficient credentials to call the Service.
