WUMC710 and its blue light. Anyway to dim or disable the lights?
Hi.
My WUMC710 is working well and its connected to my desktop pc in bedroom. When the desktop is off, the lights on the WUMC710 stay 'ON'. How can I dim or disable the lights beside putting a black tape on top it? This unit does not go to sleep at all. I like to sleep in a dark room. HELP!

as far as I know there is no way to disable or dim them.
I see three ways to do that:
1) past something over the LEDs. use some tape or sticker ^^
2) Cut the cables to the LEDs. do this at your own risk. Don't know if it will still work after that ^^
3) I guess the best solution would be a master/slave power strip. So it will be only powered if the computer is on.

sry, there are no cables to cut... So 2 does not work ^^

Just an update it is a hardware issue and very common for iPhone 4s. I have to get my phone rewired which basically means new wireless chip. The amount of money I spent on buying an iPhone I should not expect to have anyway hardware problems happening. Make sure you have a warranty as luckily I've saved myself from spending more money to get this problem fixed.

My ipad is having something wrong in the screen pixels the screen is having an error it is giving a red and baby blue lights all over the screen (invert colours is turned off)

my friend found this ipod touch 5g and its in find my ipod mode it say the ipod is currently linked up to other apple id so i want to find the owner or learn how to take that off
The Apple ID is an email address. Simply email the person at that email address.
If not successful, turn the iPod in to the police. -
Im trying to buy a song from a album but i get error that it is no longer available. The other songs is working and its a new album. I typer in the wrong password on this song. Could that be the issue?
Never rely upon the iTunes Store to always have your purchases. Always keep a copy of everything safe on a backup drive at home.

To sync contacts with my computer, I choosed "Sync Contacts with" within iTunes for Windows Outlook and Its suncking but contact is not showing in the Oulook contact.
Do changes/additions to the contacts list in Outlook appear on the iPhone?

I just purchased harry potter and the deathly hallows digital copy but i just synced my ipod and its not there. i went back to get the copy again and its says the code can only be used once. I dont have the movie and now i cant get it at all. i paid for it when i bought the movie but now i dont own it at all. i feel cheated, somebody please help!

UI dialogs are an application setting, not a file property. Selectively suppressing them on a per-file basis is not possible, but you can of course create an action and suppress the dialogs...

I buy a song from iTunes and its only 30 seconds when i paid for the whole song
For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song. Im just confused on why it keeps doing that.
Thank you,Are you playing the songs from within the Music app? Or are you trying to play them from with in the iTunes app? On an iOS device, the iTunes app is just the store. All you'd get there would be the samples.

I have installed iPhoto for iPad and its taking a lot of time to sync the photos from the library
I have been waiting for like 3 hours and iPhoto App can't sync all my albums. I don't have a lot of photos and its weird because the App hangs many times. I have the new iPad.
iPhoto for iOS does not sync your photos. To sync photos you use iTunes on your computer and connect your iPad.
When iPhoto for iOS runs it checks your photo library. If there have been changes to your photos iPhoto needs to update the library. It will compare the library in existence with the photos on your pad and update the reference to those things which have changed. If you have a lot of photos this will take some time. If iPhoto for iOS shuts down during this process you might have some corrupt photos on your ipadthat need to be fixed or deleted first. -
Is mine sick. When it breaths, the calendar shortcut also lights up. I am finding it annoying, particulary when my calendar is absolutely empty. Is it a bug in the firmware or a hardware error?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You calendar info should also be mirrored on your computer. Use the option to replace all events on the iPod with the info on your computer during the next sync. You can find this option in the info pane, Advanced section.
You can also use the latest backup to restore from, it contains the calendar info as well: iTunes: About iOS backups

Syncing iPad Photos with more that 1 computer
I haven't tried this yet, but can you sync photos on your iPad with more that 1 computer (PC or Mac)? I have a Macbook and a iMac and would like to sync photos between my them and my iPad. Will this work without losing photos on any of the devices?
