Würden mir 32 GB DDR4 RAM 3000 MHz "deutlich" mehr Performance in Photoshop, Lightroom und Bridge CC bringen als meine alten 16GB DDR3 RAM 1600MHz?

Ich würde gerne mehr Geschwindigkeit in PS CC haben und würde im Zuge eines neuen Prozessors & CO den Arbeitsspeicher gerne mit erweitern bzw. optimieren.
Für mich stellt sich die Frage, ob die neueste Generation DDR4-RAM mit 3000 MHz mich wirklich zum Ziel führen kann oder nicht. Wenn ich einen wirklich merkbaren Geschwindigkeitsschub dadurch bekomme und sich die Photoshop eigenen sowie NIK-Filter schneller verrechnen lassen wäre es mir die Anschaffung wert. Hat schon jemand Erfahrungen mit DDR4 RAM sammeln können? Vielen Dank für ein konstruktives Feedback im Voraus.

Pixel durchkauen ist nun mal an die Routinen gebunden, die das System bietet - das öffnen einer großen Raw-Datei kann nun mal länger dauern, als den Filter drüber zu bügeln und genau so kann es sein, dass das Laden der für eien Zoomstufe gedachten Cache Tiles von der Photoshop-Auslagerungsdatei länger dauert, als wenn man nicht gezoomt hätte und einfach in voller Größe hin- und herschiebt. Wenn überhaupt, kann man eventuell auftretende performanceprobleme und Bottlenecks imemr nur spezifisch lösen, aber dazu müßte man genaue infos haben, was du machst, mit welchen Dateitypen, Auflösungen usw. du arbeitest, wo Dateien gespeichert sind und so weiter. Speed ist ohnehin etwas sehr subjektives. Wie schon gesagt, schnelle Platten bringen viel, eien schnelle Grafikkarte könnte z.B. bei der Raw-Bearbeitung helfen, weil LR und ACR auch GPU-Beschleunigung verwenden. Andererseits kann dir schon ein einziges schlechtes Farbprofil die ganze Performance auffressen. Wie gesagt, der Teufel liegt im Detail...

I've photoshop cc2014 on a win7 machine, with xeon E5 cpu, 32gb ddr4 ram, nvidia 980 gtx
but it acts like a single core pc with a 90s matrox, and i.e to convert a 16 bit layered file to smart object takes a time that makes no sense
while blurring or scaling works fine since they use all the cpu cores as converting to smart object should do
I've read around the web to find a solution but nothing (such as changing the key register) worked
Has anyone faced the same ridiculous behaviour and solved it?
any help is appreciated

MacBook Pro 16GB RAM 1600Mhz

Hi, I have a 13" late 2011 @ 2,4GHz i5 and I have bought 16GB RAM @1600Mhz.
I was wonderring if the 1600MHz RAM would work because I've seen people with it working just fine. Now I'm asking this because if I just spend 150 bucks for nothing I'll be p*ssed! And don't forget my MBP is a 13 inch not a 15!!

There are 2 different voltage for DDR3 now on Macbooks.
DDR3 (L) for 2012 Macbooks 1600MHz 1.3 - 1.35 Volts.
DDR3 for 2011 Macbooks 1333Mhz 1.5 Volts.
If you've purchased the 1600MHz 1.3 - 1.35Volts and are using it in your 2011 Macbook, the chances of it working are close to none.
If however, you bought the 1.5 volt version of the 1600MHz, it might or might not work with your Macbook, some people might have had success on using them in their Macbook. But that doesn't mean that it would work with your Macbook. Unless you bought the same brand and model as the others who had them working in theirs.
In any event, why not just return it and get the right one? Most resellers might not accept returns but I'm sure they'll do an exchange since you'be got the wrong RAM.

You don't have a late 2011 MB Pro.
You have a 2010 version. Your MB doesn't support 16GB. 8GB Max.
That's what it shows on your about this MAC.
You need to return the RAM and get 8GB ( 2 X 4GB ) 1066MHz.
Your system bus is set to 1066MHz.
You're having issues because you've installed more RAM than your MB can support. It's only reading 4GB per bank which totals to 8GB and not 16GB.

iTunes -- Fehler 1324. Der Ordnerpfad "D:" enthält ein ungültiges Zeichen.

Would have been nice, if it would have stated WHICH invalid character and where it resides, wouldn't it.
Normally it's caused by damage to the installation database within the .msi for the program (in this case the itunes.msi file).
If we clear away the installation configuration information for iTunes, we should be able to get past it.
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Having an issue with my motherboard and my Corsair RAM.

When I run all 8 sticks of memory I get random reboots in windows. I thought it may be a memory issue so i fired up memtest86 and sure enough all sorts of err...

I have experienced BSOD when I was trying to fix this issue (file transfer).

No luck the standard setting with 1.25 volts crashed out in windows after a few hours or game play. then i went back into the bios and turned on xmp leaving the voltage at 1.25 and it would not post.

Can too much RAM memory in a late 2011 model macbook pro lead to kernel panic? That is what I was told by a senior supervisor from apple support who troubleshot this issue.First noticed this problem in Dec 2014 while using a private wifi at a relative's home. Did not occur again until Feb1 using a public wifi at a hotel. Never happened on my private wifi network until last night attempting to use airplay. ( have used airplay before without issue). The laptop came with 8GB RAM and I installed 8 GB about 2 years ago for some reason I cannot remember... probably because I thought the system was slowing down a little. I know that sounds silly. I would describe my use as "light" based on reading these blogs.I had purchased apple support and spent hours on the phone with them in early Feb moving up through support and senior support to sending logs to the "engineers." Of course lots of things were done some of which I am sorry to report I cannot recall their technical definitions. Deleted 3rd party apps/programs; re-worked start up menu; re-installed operating system; reset " this, that and the other" using acrobatic simultaneous key strokes both in and out of safe mode..Anyway the results from the engineers came back and they suggested that if it happened again I was to remove the 8GB of RAM I had installed as the system was getting confused as to which chip to use.( that is my interpretation of what was said..prob dumbed down for me)...Anyway 1 day after these pronouncements came down I read that Apple had agreed to fix graphics cards in some late model 2011 MBPs. I felt this was unlikely to be the issue given all that had been done including an extended hardware test but called the Senior Support Supervisor I was working with to ask him to make sure. He never phoned me back. Should I go to the trouble of removing 8GB of RAM from my laptop? Of course I will try it as the alternative is a new computer.Blogs read that this model can support 16GB but Apple didn't test for it. Senior Supervisor claims this is my trouble. Does that make sense? Not to me....but it is clear to all my level of knowledge. Can a malfunctioning graphics card be missed by an extended hardware test? I appreciate comments.

go to "FSB/DRAM RATIO", Set to "1:4". You might have to change timings to crucial specs. save and exit. That SHOULD bring you ram to 1600.
Bas is right that current AMD chips do not NATIVELY support ram speeds over 1333, which IS overclocking. I have my supertalent 1333 ram at 1600 with NO issues at all. your milage may vary. Ich möchte alle Kontakte und Calender auf dem ipad meiner Frau und mir syncron halten.

Ich habe meiner Frau und mir ein iPad 2 zugelegt und natürlich für jeden ein iPhone (3GS und 4S)
Jetz möchte wir unser Kontakte und auch Calender immer syncron halten.
Die Einrichtung hat auch funktioniert doch ich glaube ich habe einen Fehler gemacht.
Nicht alle Kontakte sind syncron.
Kalender funktioniert super ich gebe einen Termin auf meinem iPhone ein und meine Frau sieht den Termin sofort im Kalender auf dem iPhone und auf dem iPad.
Kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit ohne Datenverlust die ganze Sache neu zu syncronisieren ???
Über Hilfe würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Hallo, nach dem Windows Update auf 8.1 funktioniert mein Premiere Elements 10 nicht mehr richtig. Bilder werden in der Vorschau nicht mehr angezeigt, bzw. überblendet und Videos zeigt es auch nicht mehr richtig an. Kann mir jemand helfen ?

Es sieht aus als wäre das Programm im Bearbeitungsmodus und ich kann nichts mehr ändern geschweige denn eine Vorschau starten.
Wie kann ich den Modus wechseln oder die Edition schließen ?

Please review, consider, and then let us know the outcome. With Windows 8.1 64 bit, I do not know if there is
a driver version old enough for you to use to get Premiere Elements 10 to work. If your computer does not use a NVIDIA

Fehler beim Update - U44M1I210

Hallo liebe Community,
ich habe mir gestern die CC für Fotografen (PS / Lightroom) zugelegt.
Ich habe den CC Client auf C: installiert.
Photoshop, Lightroom und Bridge auf F:
Nun bringt mir der CC Client immer wieder den Updatefehler U44M1I210 und empfiehlt mir die Neuinstallation.
Ich hatte Photoshop zuvor auch fälschlicher Weise auf C: installiert. Da dort aber zu wenig Speicherplatz war, habe ich PS dort wieder deinstalliert und auf F: neu installiert.
Auf C: gingen die Updates noch, auf F: nun nicht mehr.
Habe leider selbst keinen Lösungsansatz, da der Client ja auf C: installiert werden MUSS habe ich gelesen.

Diesen Link hatte ich bereits gefunden.
Leider hilft der mir kein Stück weiter.
Ich habe sämtliche Schritte ausgeführt.
Neustart hilft nicht.
Neuinstallation hilft nicht.
Die Updates von Adobe runterladen hilft ebenfalls nicht. Man kann nur die volle 32-Bit Version von Juni 2014 herunterladen. (Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows)
Installationsprotokolle sind nicht aufzufinden (evtl. Windows 8 "Problem"?)

Ram/macbookpro

Hi, I have up graded my Mac book pro to 16 GB of RAM, but it is still running out of free memory, any ideas? I'm using photoshop, lightroom and Bridge.

In Activity Monitor, is there any green or blue still showing? If yes, you are still in good shape. If the 'Page Outs' are still 10% less that 'Page Ins' you are also in good shape. Additional RAM, if possible, would not make any difference.

Grafikprobleme mit Windows 8.1

Hallo,
ich habe mir letze Woche ein Lenovo G510 Notebook (Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 1TB HDD, und einer AMD R5 230) geholt.
Das Gerät machte auf mich einen guten Eindruck und ich habe es gekauft.
Zuhause dann die ersten Probleme.
Keines meiner Spiele wollte mehr starten.
Weder STEAM Games noch die Standalonespiele.
Man hörte den Ton aber es kam kein Bild.
Nach ein paar Tagen vergeblicher Treiberupdates und Forenbesuche im Internet habe ich dann einen Hardwaredefekt vermutet und das Gerät zurückgegeben. Mit dem Austauschgerät habe ich aber nach 2 Tagen die Selben Probleme.
Ich weiß echt nicht mehr was ich machen soll und stehe nun kurz davor mein System auf Windows 7 downzugraden.
Ich gehe mal stark davon aus, dass es sich um ein Problem mit der Switchable Graphic handelt.
Ich habe auch im Bezug auf andere Geräte schon viel darüber gelesen und die Tatsache, dass die Spiele wenigstens manchmal laufen und dann auch ohne Probleme und wie erwünscht, bestärken mich in dieser Annahme.
Wenn jemand ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht hat oder vielleicht sogar eine Lösung auf der Hand hat, wäre ich über eine Antwort sehr dankbar.
