WVC 210 and mobile streaming with multiple cameras?

I have two WVC 210 and have opened ports 554, and 5000 for one of the camera's local IPs. This is allowing me to get to that "one" camera when I put in the camera's rtsp addresss with the passcode at the end.
I was wondering is there any way to have it where I can route to both cameras? Is there a way to put the different addresses in like when you go through the browser?

I didn't see any discussions on SpiceWorks that covered this question. I'm involved in live streaming of my church's services, and we got hit by lightening 2 weeks ago. We had 3 cameras which were able to be remotely controlled by 1 Telemetrics box, and which sent video feed into a digital video mixer. Well, one of the cameras and the remote control box have died, so we are looking to replace the setup with better equipment. I'm able to run the equipment, and even troubleshoot it to an extent, but have no idea what's even out there. Does anyone have any recommendations on a setup for at least 3 remotely controllable (pan/tilt/zoom) HD cameras? The remote control could be either hardware or software based. I have no idea how much the church could budget for a new system, so a range of low-high cost options would be ideal for me to...

  • What are the steps to using camera & color space matching on footage with multiple cameras?

    Hi there,
    I am new to speedgrade, and need to use the Camera and Color Space Matching technique to automatically color correct my sequence which contains footage from multiple cameras. I have watched all the videos on speedgrade on AdobeTV and lynda.com that I can find, but haven't been able to find one that actually shows me how to do so. Can anyone point me to a video/tutorial where I could learn the steps for the process or outline them for me if that is easier?
    Thanks!

    I'm in the same boat.  There is a new 'camera matching' function that premiered at NAB 2013, but when will it be actually available...?   As to your original question, look up getting a proper White and Black balances with each camera first. Learn how to work with HSL and RGB values etc, and I think Karl Seoule has some videos that cover this under 'Color Finesse' vids at Adobe TV.  Also check out the '3-Way Color Corrector' tuts and "Secondary Color Correction' tuts as well.  And finally either on Adobe TV or Creative Cow there is on video that actually talks about matching either 2 shots or 2 cameras as well.
    All this is to say here is no easy/simple way.  I'm hoping when Adobe introduces the Color Matching in Speed Grade we can just use stills as reference in Speed Grade, develop 'looks' that match the cameras and then apply the looks in Premiere without having to use the huge .dpx files that we have to use in Speed Grade now, but that may just be part of the process.

  • Premiere Pro CC - can I waveform sync with *multiple* camera and audio clips a la Pluraleyes?

    Many of us use Pluraleyes to sync DSLR and 2nd audio WAV files using waveforms. (No timecode.)
    The ability to sync in Premiere Pro CC was mentioned in several feature lists, but I only see the ability to sync one clip at a time.
    Is there no way to line up several MOV and WAV files, with different start / stop times and no other match other than waveform, and sync them automatically in Premiere Pro CC in a sequence (or by creating multiple merged clips)? In other words, can I mimic the functionality in Pluraleyes in this new version of Premiere Pro?

    Currently, the best way to do this is by selecting all the clips in the project panel, right click on them and select Create multi camera source sequence.   Sync via audio, choose your audio sequence settings (if you want audio from both clips, select all cameras) then hit ok.  Multicamera is smart enough to do this batch process and make multiple MC Sequences with only the clips that match each other.  Unfortunatly merged clips or timeline sync will only do one at a time.  If you wish to have this behavior in merged clip and/or timeline sync, please file a feature request:  https://www.adobe.com/go/wish

  • What happened to camera roll and photo stream with newest IOS upgrade?

    I have upgraded my iPad 3 to the newest IOS release, but not my iPhone so far.  I noticed that Camera Roll and Photo Stream are still available on my iPhone but not on the iPad.  What happened?

    the he firet versions of iOS 8 replaced the PhotoStream and Camera Roll albums with the Recently Added album. The Recently Added album contains photos for thirty days then moves them to the Photo Collections area. This definitely caught many people by surprise. Apple announced on October 16th that the next update of iOS 8 which will be 8.1 will bring back the Camera Roll. 8.1 is scheduled to be available October 20 according to Apple.

  • Flash Media Encoder with multiple cameras?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to stream 2 or more cameras on one computer
    with Flash Media Encoder, or are you restricted to one camera per
    machine?
    Cheers

    Hi,
    As JayCharles explained to me, you run two instances of Flash
    Media Encoder on the Computer. I was running 1 camera on just one
    computer and so used 3 computers instead of using just the one
    computer.
    In my new case, I had 2 Cameras on the one machine.
    When you launch Flash Media Encoder it will detect any
    cameras you have on that computer, you will get a dropdown box so
    you can choose which camera you want to use in this instance.
    Choose the camera you want.
    In the FMS URL box type the rtmp path to your Flash Media
    server directory you want to stream this video to using either the
    ip address or web address of the FMS server followed by the correct
    path to where the file will be streamed to for example:
    rtmp://192.168.1.10/vob/live
    In the Stream Box type the name of the video file without the
    .FLV tag, ie:
    livevideo
    Click the Connect button to connect the Video to the FMS
    server.
    When ready click the Start Button to start the stream.
    So far you are streaming the video, but no one can see it.
    Open a Dreamwaver page for example and go to:
    Insert/Media/Flash Video (CS3)
    or
    Insert/Media/FLV (CS4)
    Change the Video Type to Streaming Video
    In the Server URI box type or paste in the rtmp address you
    set:
    rtmp://192.168.1.10/vob/live
    In the Stream Name Box type in the Stream name you set in
    Flash Media Encoder:
    livevideo
    The Skin type must be HALO, (Dont understand why you get no
    choice)
    Set the width and height of the Video on the page
    Tick the Autoplay to play a pre recorded file, or tick Live
    video feed if it is live.
    Click ok.
    If everything is correct then when you lauch the page the
    video feed should be playing.
    Lets assume it is, to add a second camera you just repeat the
    same steps.
    Open another instance of Flash Media Encoder on the Computer
    you already have a feed running.
    It might complain that the camera is already in use, as it
    might try to connect to the same camera on the running application.
    Open the Camera source dropdown and now choose the other
    camera that should be available.
    Put in the same info for the Server URI as you will also
    stream to the same folder.
    Chnage the Stream name now to:
    livevideo2
    Click Connect and also Start.
    Open the Dreamweaver page you created for the first video.
    Follow the same steps as before to create the Video on the
    page
    changing the name this time to livestream2.
    You should now have 2 live video feeds on the same page using
    two different cameras.
    hope this helps.

  • Terrible customer service, and no help with defective camera

    Madams and Sirs,
    This camera (see below) was a Christmas present, and we discovered first last week that it had a manufacturing defect. (one of the small tabs holding the case half together got installed in a pinched way.)
    Best Buy has always had fantastic customer service, and we have been very happy. We have spend many thousand dollars in your store every year. So we were sure the store would have a solution.
    We took it in to your store #1423 on Curtner in San Jose to try to exchange or replace under warranty.
    I understand you sometimes you are not able to help a customer, but this email is first about the shock I got when I spoke with Megan in customer service.
    As many customers in Silicon Valley, I am an engineering manager, and we have performed destructive testing on many of our own products. The defect on this camera is obviously a manufacturing defect, and not possible to be caused by poor handling. This is very obvious.
    Megan told me with other employees as well as my son listening next to me that I was a liar, and that the damage was caused by abuse, and not a defect. I tried to explain that was not possible, and she interrupted me, and again said that i was not telling the truth, and that the assembly error was caused by us.
    I then asked if it was possible to have the matter reviewed by the store manager, and she responded she was the store manager.
    I left with the camera, and the matter unresolved, and had to explain to my son that I was not a liar, and that Megan must be wrong and "some people just have a bad day sometimes".
    I will not be spoken to with insults like that, and I can no longer go to your store with my kids, and if my employees treated any customer the way Megan did, I would make sure she received training to correct this. If the store manager have this attitude to customers, the entire organisation usually follows, and I will not be a customer in a store like that.
    1. Please help resolve this issue.Order number: {removed per forum guidelines}

    Hello erikev,
    Cameras are nice to have, especially with young children, so I can imagine how frustrating it can be to find yourself with a pinched casing. When something goes wrong, it’s never a fun situation, and while it may not be something we can necessarily help with, great customer service should still be provided. It sounds like this didn’t happen the way we hoped, and I’m sorry this was at your expense.
    As this situation is definitely concerning, I looked into your account to see how I might be able to assist. However, I have found your concerns have reached Terrance with our executive support team. He is currently looking into your situation and should contact you once more information is available. From here, Terrance will be your first point of contact.
    Hopefully he can find a good resolution for you,

  • Video Streaming from multiple camera to cell phone.

    I have about 5 webcams on a network in a different city.  One of these webcams I have been successful at setting up live video streaming to my cell phone. However when I tried to setup and view a second camera (same model), but  I cannot get it to successfully load and view. The second camera has a different access code also.
    Any Suggestions?

    Hi,
    Camera are WVC54GCA
    Router is a WRT300N.
    Like I stated earlier, one of these cams I can stream fine to my backberry storm,(Port 554 is forward to the ip address of the camera) but can't seem to configure the other for cell phone viewing.
    All cameras can be viewed via http via computers.

  • OLAP on 11g and Materialised Views with Multiple Value-Based Hierarchies

    Hello OLAPians
    I am trying to setup Orable BIEE to report on an OLAP cube with pre-aggregated data. As OBIEE is not able to hook into the OLAP directly i have to create an SQL cubeview.
    Currently i am on a 10g OLAP environment and am using the oracle sample SQL cubeview generator to create an SQLview of my cube.
    The cube itself has multiple dimensions and these dimensions have multiple VALUE-based (ragged) hierarchies and dimension members can be shared across hierarchies also.
    Initially i had a problem running the view generator plugin because there is a bug within it that does not finish if there are multiple value-based hierarchies present. I was able to get around this by manually editing the limitmap for the cubeview and manually creating the SQL view.
    The question that i want to ask is how robust is the 11g materialised views with multiple value-based hierarchies and the sharing of dimension members across different hierarchies?
    Has anyone successfully been able to create a cubeview and import it into OBIEE without the hassle of manually editing the limitmap?
    A problem arises with the value-based setup whereby if the client creates a newer depth in the ragged hierarchy, i need to manually create the limitmap and the cube-view over again, and then re-map the BI Administration mappings.

    The simple answer to your question,
    how robust is the 11g materialised views with multiple value-based hierarchies...?is that materialized views are not supported on top of value-based hierarchies in 11g. The reason is that it is not possible to write a reasonable SQL statement that aggregates a fact over a value-based hierarchy. Such a SQL statement is necessary if we want to create a rewritable MV on top of the cube.
    But I suspect this is not what you are really asking. If you are trying to set up OBIEE on top of the cube in 10g using the view generator, then you will probably want to use the "ET VIEWS" that are generated automatically in 11g. These are generated whether or not you enable materialized views on top of your cube. I am not aware of any issues with the generated value-based hierarchy view support in 11g. Members may be shared between value hierarchies and you will not need to generate or modify limit maps.

  • How to set WPA and WPA2 security with multiple AEs

    Hi Everybody,
    I have purchased a second AE and with the help of Alan Summers was able to set them all up for multiple speakers use in iTunes. In order to make them run I had to downgrade security settings to 40-bit WEP which is not really satisfying. My Airport Admin. Utility was still 4.0, so I tried 4.2 which offers the use of WPA and WPA2 with multiple AEs. Upgraded to 4.2 and switched off security settings first. Both AE are recogniced and speakers of second AE also show up in iTunes but I cannot connect to them. Since it didn't work without security settings, I didn't even try with it and went back using 4.0. All other firmware is up-to-date:
    AirPort Express 6.3
    iTunes 6.0.2
    Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection 9.0.3.0
    Any advice would deeply be appreciated!
    BTW - if it works, it's maybe the greatest sound experience I ever had. Music all over the place!!
    Best regards
    Roman

    Found it!!
    1) upgrade Airport Admin. Utility to 4.2
    2) set second AE as "remote base station" and not in "client mode" (that's the clue!!)
    3) follow instructions and type in MAC address of main base station
    4) choose a channel (doesn't matter which one, just has to be the same on both AEs)
    5) choose your personal WPA and WPA2 password (same on both AEs)
    6) restart both AEs
    7) enjoy the music all over the place!
    Best regards

  • How to insert autoincrement record and query it with multiple keys

    Hi all,
    I am not familiar with BerkeyleyDB, I am now doing a project that needs to insert records and then query it out with multiple keys at later time. Since there is no field that can be distinct primary key, I want to user DbSequence as auto increment primary key to db, and set other index keys as secondary db, then using join cursor to do query with multiple keys.
    I don't know how to use DbSequence, can anyone direct me to a example of using DbSequence as auto increment primary key?
    Regards
    -Bruce

    I figured out the method to insert record with auto increment primary key. I listed the code block below:
    char m_SeqNamePositions[32] = "MyPositions";
    DbSequence *m_pSeqPositions;
    m_pDBPositions = new Db(NULL, 0);
              m_pDBPositions->open(NULL, pszFileName, szFileName, DB_BTREE, DB_CREATE, 0);          // 无数据文件
              m_pSeqPositions = new DbSequence(m_pDBPositions, 0);
              Dbt key((void *)m_SeqNamePositions, (u_int32_t)strlen(m_SeqNamePositions));
              m_pSeqPositions->open(NULL, &key, DB_CREATE);
    db_seq_t SeqNum;
         m_pSeqPositions->get(0, 1, &SeqNum, 0);
         Dbt key((void *)&SeqNum, (u_int32_t)sizeof(SeqNum));
         Dbt data(pRecord, sizeof(*pRecord));
         return m_pDBPositions->put(NULL, &key, &data, DB_NOOVERWRITE);
    m_pSeqPositions->close(0);
              m_pDBPositions->close(0);
    delete m_pSeqPositions;
    delete m_pDBPositions;
              m_pDBPositions = NULL;

  • Ram previewing with multiple cameras

    Hello
    I'm a motion newbie...trying to ram preview a 10 second project with 2 cameras, a dolly cam and a sweep cam. The ram preview works for the dolly cam but when the timeline switches to the other camera it's obvious from the frame rate that that camera's view has not been processed into ram.
    If I just Ram preview the sweep cam, which lasts for the remainder of the project it renders fine.
    Thanks

    I tried to replicate the problem but wasn't able to. DId you try a restart? Also, you might try copying all your project contents and pasting them into a new Motion project. If your project file is corrupt, this might help.

  • High Speed Streaming with Multiple FPGA FIFOs and TDMS Advanced Asynchronous (Data Ref)

    I am using an FPGA with adapter card (7962 with 5751) for data acquisition and signal processing. I have adapted the FlexRio example "High Throughput Streaming," which works very well for a transferring data from the FPGA via a single FIFO. This example uses the TDMS Advanced Asynchronous Write (Data Ref). The "High Throughput Streaming" example is similar to "Streaming External Data to a TDMS File (Windows)" but includes more code to prep the FIFO buffer size and TDMS size.
    My question is how can I adapt this code to incorporate multiple FIFOs that write data to different channels in the TDMS file? Can I use multiple instances of  TDMS Advanced Asynchronous Write (Data Ref) in a single VI for each FIFO Acquire Read Region? If so, how do I insure that the correct data is written to the correct channel in the TDMS file?

    Thank you DeppSu for your explanation, I will look into that.
    But first, I want to be sure that the FPGA and the Hot general designs are correct, which for the moment I am not sure. So I have included my code.
    I tried the Host vi several times, and it seems that it works sometimes and sometimes not, like there are some communication problems between the fpga and the host on the "read acquire region" method which is not executed. I managed to make it work randomly before, but not now. Maybe it is because of the reset that I added?
    If someone could check my code and help me, I would really appreciate it since nobody in my workplace has the expertise to do so :-) If you see some obvious mistake, please share with me, I also added some comment boxes in the code with questions.

  • Captions and no captions with multiple slideshows (a bug in idvd 6?)

    Hi,
    I am having a problem with the captions option in multiple slideshows, and am wondering if this a bug within idvd 6. My project has two slideshows which I created within idvd because I wanted the manual option of forwarding through your slides on tv. I have one slideshow with captions selected and the other has captions deselected. Both slideshows preview correctly in idvd, but when I burn the dvd to a disk, I either get both slideshows with captions or both without. The only way around this was to select captions for both slideshows and then manually delete the captions out of the slideshow that I didn't want them to appear. Is this a known glitch with idvd 6?

    I foolishly tried this on a separate Mac on a different library, that one with 22000 images that I had not edited (since the old iPhoto would just die a slow death on that sized library).
    I actually only spent the money for iPhoto 6 (iLife's remainder package did not have any compelling use for me right now) and its ability to handle 25000 images.
    Well, it is faster (i.e. it does not go to sleep for 12 minutes) if I click the scroll button but the blank images problem showed up there also. And ALL of those pictures were standard jpgs and not one was from a weird camera or ever modified or otherwise tweaked if that were an excuse for iPhoto 6 misbehaving with some pictures.
    VERY annoying and very strange that they would not see this in Beta testing. Assuming they do test. So, folks, if you are planning to buy iLife for iPhoto, be forewarned. I will add this to my TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY blog entries at http://imran.com/media/blog/ so people are aware.

  • Streams with multiple writers

    Here is a conundrum I've been unable to solve:
    How do multiple threads write to a PrintWriter, and then disconnect without killing each other?
    Here's the long version:
    Consider a thread with two pipes:
    PipedInputReader p1in = new PipedInputReader();
    PipedOutputWriter p1out = new PipedOutputWriter(p1in);For speed, efficiency, and the desire to use the readline() method, this thread wants to wrap the input with a buffer:
    BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(p1in);Now, this thread wants to give access to the other end of the pipe to someone else, and wrap it in a BufferedWriter. In turn, that will be wrapped in an autoflushed PrintWriter so that we can use the println() method:
    PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(new BufferedWriter(p1out), true);Now we just need to give that to the outside world:
    public PrintWriter getBuffer() {
    return out
    }Putting it all into a complete class (that may not be runnable due to typos; I'm doing this by hand), we get the following:
    class buf implements Runnable {
      private PrintWriter out = null;
      public PrintWriter getBuffer() {
        return out
      public void run() {
        PipedInputReader p1in = new PipedInputReader();
        PipedOutputWriter p1out = new PipedOutputWriter(p1in);
        BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(p1in);
        PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(new BufferedWriter(p1out), true);
        String text = "";
        while ( (text = in.readline()) == true ) {  ;;;; }
      }Of course, toss in the try/catch blocks and all that. I probably missed a keyword here and there; eclipse does that for me :)
    Now, this works remarkably well. 20 threads can call getBuffer on that thread and write to it, and everything is synchronized nicely. It really does work well enough for my needs.
    However, when one of those threads exits, all the pipes close and everyone dies.
    Say I have another thread that does the following:
    PrintWriter xx = thethreadabove.getBuffer();I would think that somewhere along the line, when that thread is done, I can just do:
    xx = null;And let the thread exit. I'd be wrong, however. It makes everything die. So, what can I do?
    How can I have multiple writers with just a single reader? I am not locked into pipes wrapped by bufferedwriters wrapped by printwriters; they just provide what I need with little issue. I'm guessing someone will tell me at some point that I was supposed to use a queue of some sort (arrayblockingqueue, etc.), and I'm sure that might work with enough spit and tape. Streams should work too, though, shouldn't they? I should be able to remove one of many references to a PrintWriter without killing the underlying pipe, right?

    Ok, so here's what I found. First, I had the reader thread export a PrintWriter by doing the following:
    private MyBuffer outside
    public ReaderThread() {
      outside = new MyBuffer(new BufferedReader(pipe))
    public PrintWriter getBuffer() {
      outside.register();
      return (new PrintWriter(outside))
    }The MyBuffer class is then:
    public class MyBuffer extends FilterWriter {
      private int count = 0;
      public MyBuffer(Writer w) {
        super(w);
      public void register() {
        ++count;
      public void close() {
        --count;
        if (count <= 0)
          super.close();
    }I couldn't for the life of me get that close method to be called. Even if I called it manually, things still fell apart, because after about 1 second, the pipe would close.
    Here's what I found:
    Pipes have a nice undocument / poorly documented feature wherein they will close 1 second after the last thread that wrote to the pipe exits. Crazy, eh? Pipes expect one and only one thread to do the writing, and have a rather lousy mechanism for even achieving that goal (proven by how I worked around it). They record the thread id of the last thread to write to the pipe. So if I have the aforementioned 20 worker threads that all get a pointer to the printwriter encapsulating the buffer encapsulating the pipe, and they each write to the printwriter, each write will change the value of the thread id that the pipe is looking for. If one of those threads dies and is listed as the last thread to conduct a write, then the whole pipe shuts down, causing a ripple effect of broken pipes.
    This is a very inneffective design, and even the source code for the java sdk contains comments saying that there should be a better way. Until that ever gets fixed, I'm left with having to signal another thread to do a write before the dying thread can terminate. This is not very safe in the case of a real problem with a given thread, but at least it works in terms of the "go-path".
    Craziness.
    If anyone can think of a good way to handle this, I'm open. I'm thinking write now that I need a separate thread to do the watching, and dying threads need to signal that thread to take over as the "last writer". Either that, or maybe work up an event listener to trigger on every write. I really don't know. This is disappointing really.
