WVC54GC Viewer/recorder

I upgraded the WVc54GC to the latest firmware 1.26 from 1.19, the Viewer worked fine on previous firmware but after the upgrade it can't detect the camera via Ethernet or wireless. Tried to downgrade the firmware but got an error.

updated 4 Camera's to firmware 1.26
None are seen by the viewer, when I do a search.
I have the old dat file, and reloded it, and they come up.
But when I do a search, they are not there. I ping the ip addresses, and they all reply. I put the ip address in IE and it shows up.
Can I go back to the old Firmware? The viewer no longer see's the camera. Also I can edit the viewer dat file. Who have the parameters, as I can add my new camera that way if I can get the field descriptions.

WVC54GC: Can't find camera from Viewer/Recorder or Setup Utility

The camera is connected to my wireless router and I can access the camera though the web - can view video and use setup on the web utility - but I can't find it from the Viewer-Recorder utility or the Linksys Setup utility. I tried setting the camera IP address to 192.168.1.115, as recommended in previous posts, and verified on my router that it's picking up that IP address. But when I run Linksys setup from a PC connected to the router, it searches for a camera but doesn't find it. When I try "add camera" from the Viewer/Recorder, it can't find it either. From that same computer I can ping the camera at 192.168.1.115, so I know it's there. What gives??

What is the operating system on your computer?
If you are able to ping the camera IP address from your computer then your computer is communicating with the camera. I think it must be the issue with the setup utility.
Try to uninstall and reinstall the utility and see if that works.
You can also download the utility from Linksys website.

Unable to View records in a master-detail form

In a master-detail form, I am not able to view records of the master/detail table
by accepting the values of the PK of the header table items.
Please tell me the exact steps, so that I can view the detail table records based on the header table PK items.

Yes I wrote the LOV code in a different procedure. Now, the view is showing correctly. But I am now trying to update the viewed records.
The steps I am following in View Option is as below:

clear_block(no_validate);
execute_query;
proc_lov;
go_block('item');
execute_query;
I am unable to commit the changes made in the blocks
The reason it is showing is : UNABLE TO update.....I saw the display_error.
The system is trying to update the PK part also..Why....Though PK party is clearly defined in the table as well as property palette. Pl. explain how to go about it. Uregent help is required once again.

Screen aspect changing when viewing recorded progr...

Hope someone can help me with this query.
The screen aspect of my TV changes whenever I fast forward through adverts whilst viewing recorded programmes. To get back to the correct aspect (16:9) I have to stop the recording and restart each time.....very frustrating, can anyone offer a solution?

All boxes have to be told what aspect ratio the TV they're connected to is.
BT Vision -> Settings -> TV Settings -> Screen Aspect Ratio
Don't worry, you're not alone. I've lost count of the number of homes I've visited where one look at the TV has told me they haven't set the aspect ratio of whatever box they're using.
Only use 720 or 1080 if you are connected to the TV via HDMI.

Viewing records ordered by date

actually i have inserted the "date" in msaccess database table using "dd-mm-yy" format
now i want to view records of that table in ascending order of the date
so i wrote the query:
Select * from TRANSACTIONS order by aco_date ASC,aco_time ASC";
but the problem is if i write this it compares the day first and then the month and then the year since i have inserted the date in dd-mm-yy
but logically it should compare the year first then the month and then the day...hw can i do that?

With most databases I have used (I don't use MSAccess), the ordering by date works as you want as long as the field you are inserting the date into is a designated date/time field and not a String/VARCHAR field. If your aco_date field is a DATE field and this is still not working, you might look at the thread [Order by date with MS Access|http://forums.devshed.com/database-management-46/order-by-date-with-ms-access-71503.html] for additional ideas.

How to allow a user to view records belonging to them only...!

Hi guys,
I have a login page written in jsp. When users login, the login servlet check for username and password, then it takes them to a main page. From the main page, users can decide to view all the records that they have already submitted by clicking on the "view" button.
So far, right now when users click on that "view" button, they are able to view all the records in the database and that's not what I want. I want users to only view the records they have submitted.
Does anyone know how to do...??

How to view records as icons in several columns

Hi
I cannot find the way how to show report representing records as icons organized in several columns - similary as applications are shown if "Icons" view is selected in HTMLDB 2.0 development environnment homepage. No available report template did the job.
Any suggestions?

How to view records that i have assigned to users in CRM 2013

I have assigned an opportunity to other user. Can anyone tell me how to view that record I have assigned to other?

Off the shelf I don't think there is any machnism in CRM which can tell you exactly.
1. You can create a view where opporunity was created by you and is not owned by you. This view will have limitation for example if some opportunity is create by other use and assigned to you. You later assign this opportunity to another user.
2. A better way to meeting this requirement would be add a lookup field say Previous Owner. Create a plugin or Javscript to populate previous owner file when ever a record is assigned.

Running into a Codec problem while trying to view recorded video in windows media player.

Hi - I am new to this so please be gentle.
I have been given a wvc200. I have set it up on my network and have it set to record motion. after it has recorded a file, and if I go to view the file, my computer launches the file with Windows Media Player. as WMP is trying to open the file, I get an error message saying "An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help." I have folled the directions and have installed the Sharp G.726 Audio (45) codec that WMP is looking for but it is still asking for the codec. Any suggestions? Thank you so much for your time.
PS I am running Vista on a Quad core with WMP version 11.0.6000.6344

Viewing records pagewise in sql console

hi,
i have got a common problem.
when i login into the console of sqlplus and try to fetch records from a table i usually see the last set of records.how do i view these records page wise. i know it can be done using '|more' but i don't know the exact syntax.......
any help would be appreciated

you can try using SET PAUSE ON in SQL plus.And also add something like
SQL> set pause "Hit enter"So that you can actually see when to hit the enter key.

VCR/Camcorder Viewing & Recording on Qosmio G20

Hooked up my video camcorder via S Video In. Tried reading the instructions on how to view and record from the VCR/Camcorder info. Windows Media Center is being used.
Is there some configuration I need to follow or is this not a way to do this?

I have made some experience with camcorder because I have one. If you want to send movie to HDD your camcorder must be recognized like a new external device and like source for video signal. Usually for this will be used fire wire port and not S-VHS port. If you use S-VHS port external device will not be recognized and there is no way to send video signal to any software that you use for video recording.
The best way to check this is to use Windows movie maker. I use at home Pinnacle software for video recording.

Actully i need 'ALL' Value in parmeter to be used to fetch all data when we select in the list. I can to do this at Report level

Hi Joey,
This should work. The only reason I can think of why this is happening is if there is no matching records between your view and table.
If you create a simple query in ISQL that links the table and a view, do you get records? If not then have a closer look at the view. Possibly the fields you are linking on are different types.

View Record of Sync?

I find the whole sync process to be too "in the dark". My main issue is with Apps. When I sync, I usually need to sit by my computer and keep an eye on what iTunes is doing in the little window at the top where it tells you what is being installed, transferred or removed. This is a big waste of time.
What I would like to do is let iTunes do its thing and then view some file or record that shows the details of what it did. Is this possible?
(And yes, I know that the Applications checklist exists but while it is an improvement over how things were before, I have still had issues with Apps being deleted or installed when I didn't want them to be.)

Not once since 3rd party apps became available have I experienced the same. This doesn't mean I'm saying apps being deleted or installed on their own without any user intervention whatsoever is completely impossible and has never happened, but I venture to say this is the rare exception rather than the rule with something else in play as the cause.
