Wxpython 3.0 installs in python2.7/site-packages?!!

I just installed wxpython 3.0.x but it does not install in python3.4/site-packages but rather in python2.7/site-packages.
Of course when I "import wx" from python 3.0 it fails.
It this a bug or is there a reason and a work around to get wxpython working with python 3.0?

I read in Stackoverflow that it does.
Confirmed wxpython works with python3.3. System spec: Windows 8.1 64bit. Python was a first time install on this new machine (so no previous versions exist). Objective: get matplotlib to work with their wx examples.
But maybe it is only for windows 8 at this time?
Perhaps we will see it in Linux soon.

Hi, everytime I try to install Final Cut Studio 2 on my Mac Book Pro (10.6.2), I get this message:
The installer is damaged.
The installer can't open the package. There may be a problem with file ownership or permissions.
When i run Disk Utility, the package seems to have no problems. I'm sure the dmg is not corrupted since I was able to install this on my iMac G5 (10.5).

Locate the original disks and make a new dmg. I've had to do this occasionally. Not sure why the installer disk image breaks, but it does. In fact, I've had more problems with the Adobe disk images I've made. They seem to install once, and then break, which totally defeats the purpose of making them. The FCS dmgs I've made have lasted a while, and I've used them about 6 or 7 times. But I did have to recreate them twice in 3 years.
If it says the installer can't use it, best bet is, you won't be able to fix it. One thing you could try though, copy them to a desktop and then run them. It could have to do with trying to run them over a managed network.

I had identical Installer Log failure notices: I used Houdini to view the invisible files and per Limnos' suggestion cautiously dragged
user > library > preferences > com.apple.installer.plist out of that folder onto my desktop and double-clicked on the .pkg file again and it opened and installed properly.
My Installer now works properly on all .pkg files.

We want to install this package automaticly on our computers. On 8 of 10 computers was the instalation successfully.

Installation failing due to invalid packages

During installation of Oracle 10G designer the repository installation fails due to invalid packages. When I examine the packages they are failing to compile based on dependencies on dbms_lock. I am running against a fresh installation of 11g on the database. I verified that the package exists and a public synonym has been created but I cannot see the package from any other user aside from sys. (system cannot see the package).
Is there anyway I can open up sys.dbms_lock to allow it to be used in compiling these objects?

How did you create the repository?
Did you follow the steps of the installation guide?
In this guide you find the folloiwing statements:

grant execute on dbms_lock to repos_owner;
grant execute on dbms_pipe to repos_owner;

In the statement you will see that the dbms_lock package is granted to the repos_owner. (repos_owner is the username of the repository owner, if you installed under a different user use that username)

Client Agent installation on SCCM Primary Site Server

Hello,
I Installed Client agent via Client push to my SCCM Primary Site. Installation was sucessfull (Return code 0 in ccmsetup.log). But in console still the client status shows 'NO'.
Is there any difference when installing Client agent on Primary Site or any other site server. Please advice.

Can you change the "System Installation Account" from the Site Server Computer Account to a Service Account after the DP is configured?

When the distribution points were configured, we used the Site Server Computer Account.
Now we would like to change to a service account and remove the site server computer account from the local administrators group (and add the the service account).
Can someone provide some guidance on if this is possible, and what steps should be taken to accomplish?

Sure, just modify the properties of the "Site System" role in the console (in the Administration workspace under Site Configuration -> Server and Site System Roles).
Why would you do this though? It's less secure and adds an administrative burden.

on running the below command,
./configure --enable-crypt --with-tls
Iam getting this error:

Hi Cameron, I believe the error message is indicating that our plugin is requiring a version of org.eclipse.ui 3.1.0 or higher. Does your current version of Eclipse have Crystal Reports for Eclipse already installed? If not, then it is likely you will need additional plugins from the Eclipse.org site which are not installed by default. I just tried this on my end and selected the Callisto Discovery Site as well as the Business Objects site. After selecting the latest version of CR4E, I expanded the Callisto Discovery Site and clicked the "Select Required" button. This allowed my download to go through. Can you confirm that you are following these steps? If you like I can upload a doc with a selection of screenshots demonstrating the steps I followed. Let me know and I will post it in a follow-up. All downloads need to go through the Product Selection wizard : http://www.sun.com/software/products/directory_srvr_ee/get1.jsp
The most recent full distribution for Directory Server 5.2 is 5.2patch4.
If you select 5.2patch6, you will be proposed to download the patch and the previous complete release.
The release latest version of Directory Server is DS 6.2 which can be downloaded selecting the Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.x component.

PI 711 Installation: Loading of 'SAPNTAB' import package: error but no log

I'm perfromong an installation of a SAP PI 7.11 ystem on windoows Server 2003 and Oracle 10.2 .
I've perfromed the installation of the DEV system without particular issue.
But now when tryning to install the QAS system , I can't finish the installation : Im' stuck in the import ABAP step ...
It is impossible to import the 'SAPNTAB' package. I couln't find the reason.
I've tried updating the R3load binary, rebooting the server, restarting the instalaltion from scratch but it didn't help.

Habe mittels CC Packager ein Package gebastelt welche Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC, InDesign CC und Acrobat XI beinhaltet.
Ich installiere dies direkt lokal an den Rechnern. Am Testsystem mit OSX 10.8 lief der installer wunderbar perfekt durch.
Auf den andern Macs mit OSX 10.6.8 bekom ich jedes mal eine Fehlermeldung.
"Die Installation ist fehlgeschlagen", aus das wars.
Das witzige dabei ist:
Ich kann zusehen wie InDesign CC installiert wird, der Ordner hat sein Icon und befindest sich im Programmordner.
Doch irgendwann plötzlich, verschwindet das Icon des Ordners wieder und InDesign CC wird wieder wie von Geisterhand von selbst deinstalliert.
Danach kommt die Fehlermeldung.
Warum ist das so?
Ich versteh das einfach nicht.
Rechte sind repariert und sämlichte Unix Wartunsskripte durchlaufen, es bringt nicht. Es kann einfach nicht installiert werden.
Hat jemand eine Idee dazu?
