X-7 freeezes with no respond to power key
How do I reset a device which has an integrated battery if the device jams or freezes and does not respond to power key even when pressed for a whole minute and what if my X-7 freezes in middle of night and i cannot even go to nokia centre ?
Hold Volume Down ( - ) button + Camera button + Menu button + Power button. Just hold it until your phone vibrate 3 times and your phone will restarting. Sometimes it's happen to me as wel.

My iPhone 4 shuts down by itself even though the battery is 40% charged. I tried the two button reboot (home+power key) at the same time, it starts first then it quickly shuts down again.

Imac 27" Intel Core7 CPU 16 Gig RAM. Screen goes black and will not respond except with a push of power button. Second monitor connected via displayport continues to display fine. Apply Store did full hardware diagnostic and all is fine. Did clean wipe from Mavrick back to Mountain Lion but problem remains. Apple Store can do no more.
I did some more digging, it appears to be a backlight problem only. I can see the screen very dimly if I use a bright flashlight in a very dark room. It also seems to run ok if the brightness is turned down a LOT.
So I'm thinking this is a LED driver board issue or the display itself. I'll open it up and check the connection between the two and see if I can get any more clues. At least I can use it somewhat now by dimming the display significantly... -

After being connected to a charging source overnight try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Testing keyboard connector with external power key
My PowerBook recently would not wake from sleep. I was unable to use the usual cmdctrlpwr to reboot it, so I removed the battery. Since then, it has not responded in any way to my pressing the power key. (The battery has all its LEDs and the power adapter turns colors when plugged in.)
I've had a few keyboard connector problems recently, so I tried reseating the connector to no avail. Additionally, an external USB keyboard's power key had no effect. My question is this: should the PowerBook G4 17" 1.33GHz respond to a power key on an external keyboard? If it should, then I can stop working on the keyboard connector and think about the power system and logic board.
I can't find any listing of computers on which this behavior is supported; if I missed something, please let me know. Thanks!most likely it's not supposed to work with the external power button on the keyboard.
if you are removing top case, there are "power button" contacts in the lower middle of the logic board which can be used for testing.
no power issue could be caused by bad keyboard/keyboard cable, since the power button connects thru the keyboard cable.
any taking aprt of laptops at home is risky though and could cause more damage. -

My Macbook Pro (Early 2011) DVI HDMI out does not work with TV when the power cable is connected. If get the blue screen and then can use the macbook but nothing is displayed on the TV. If i go into display I can see that there are two screens but nothing displayed on the TV. If i take the power cable out at this point the TV shows the second desktop as expected. If i then reconnect the cable, the screen flickers, as though it is being affected by the power cable, and the screen goes blank on the TV. Only if i remove the DVI cable do i get the blue screen again. If i remove the power cable and reconnect it will do it every single time, so i cannot see it being a TV issue or a minor glitch.
I have had this working previously but at the minute it seems to not be playing ball....any thoughts

I am unable to use the phone now. What should i do next? I plug in to itune in my computer and ask me to restore my phone? Tried:
1. Reboot
2. Updating Graphics Drivers.
3. Removing Red Giant Plug-Ins from my current Adobe Common Folder.
4. Running in compatibility mode for Windows 7
5. Running as Admin
All Failed.

Greetings from a Photoshop Newbie. I need a computer, preferably a Mac laptop, with some serious processing power. I take photos with a Pentax 645Z; files are 50MB raw. I upload from Adobe Bridge and manipulate the photo, sometimes turning them into files in excess of 250MB. I cannot resize as the large files are needed for enlargements. Have all sorts of problems trying to manipulate, add effects and saving most large files. I need some serious processing power. Can anyone suggest what Mac i should purchase? I thank you in advance for your help :-)
It sounds as if you're having some system-related problems now, unrelated to processing power as such. In particular, a buggy video driver can cause everything to slow to a crawl.
Medium format files are big, true, but not so big as to cause significant slowdowns on a normally functioning and reasonably current computer. A laptop will always be slower than a well-equipped desktop system, though. Mac vs PC plays no part in this, performance is unrelated to platform.
Bottlenecks are different in ACR and Photoshop, so that should give you a clue. ACR is computing-intensive and mostly limited by CPU speed. Photoshop, however, is mostly bandwidth-intensive and mainly limited by memory and disk throughput. It's also sensitive to GPU issues. -

Nope, the top OS version for the IBM processor is 10.5.8, and under that version I can not update the iTunes further than the 10.6.3 :-(
But that means the brand leaves a large chunch os costumers with still perfectly operating computers out of the loop on purpose, so to force us to upgrade computer?
Not fair at all, both are legitimate Apple products, they should sync no matter what! The sad thing is theu used to, before I migrated to iOS7 on the iPad, move that I now regret... -

iPad will not charge if hooked by USB to pc or plugged into wall. How do I know if the problem is with iPad, cable or power adapter. I have a 12, 10 and 5W adapters no success with any. Only one lightening cable so can't swap cables.

Insert the adapter's power jack on the notebook in front of the LED battery charging works, windows detects that the battery is charged, but if I use the diagnostic programs, they tell me they found that the computer is running on battery power and not AC mode.
