X-Fi Cant be instal

Hallo everybody,?I bought an Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatalty Pro and now have probs with installing it. My system knows what type of card it is, but i cant shut down my computer cause that CTXFiSPI process cant be killed. Even worse, i cant install the Drivers from CD, it hangs at 94% when it trys to?install the Audiodrivers to windows. I just had it run overnight and on the next morning it wasnt finished.?I tried the manual de-install the drivers, i tried to cleanboot windows. Now i have completly reinstalled Windows, just put in the SP2 and security updates, the N-Force 4 drivers, and the Graphic Drivers, and stil this beast will not install. AFAIK there are no installdrivers for this Card avaible on the net.?Jeremy stated in thin FAQ above else, dont panic, but i do, as i have to play a tournament on weekend and my old 5. Card crashed .....?Help??Beppolino?P.S. I hate to sound pessimistic beppolino, but it sounds like the same issue thousands of others seem to be having with the nforce 4 chipset and the x-fi cards ... there dosn't seem to be any hope at all other than getting the card sent back to Creative who will then reflash the firmware to cure the 'bug'. However, they will only do this if the card is new. Mine isn't and they won't hep me at all. I'll never get it to work on my nforce 4 system I don't think.
It's a scandal that these things were ever relaesed with such a shockingly common problem.

    Try this:
    From the Finder's Go menu, choose Computer:
    Double-click your hard disk icon. It is usually named "Macintosh HD":
    Look for this folder:
    If it appears in that window, drag it to the Trash.

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
    You can install Windows 8 on your computer because it can run Windows 8, but you can't install the Windows support software that makes Windows run properly, so probably things like the Wi-Fi card, the sound and the graphic card may not work without these drivers.
    That's just an Apple restriction. Apple has decided to give Windows 8 support to the most recent Macs, leaving old Macs with Windows 7. Unfortunately, to run Windows 8 properly, the only option is to install it on a virtual machine. Apart from that, if you want to install Windows 7 with Boot Camp, you can do it

    That is my fast time installing on Window7 Ultimate. Please answer this problem to me. I was tried to download and install iTunes many times but i can't install complete everytime.

    I have downloaded the latest version of Firefox 3.6.13 from the mozilla website, (I definatly dont have firefox 4 beta). When I try to add any new search add-ons such as Bing, Youtube, IMDB I awlays get the same message "This search engine isnt supported by firefox and cant be installed".
    I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox same problem persists, I even re-installed my OS as I needed to do it anyway and same problem.

    I have found a fix for myself, but i still would like to know what caused the problem.
    If i get the error message, all i have to do is go to the address bar and type in random letters, then when i click install, they install and no more error message.
    anyone able to explain please?

    You can't delete them, the cloud icon indicates that they are available in the cloud for downloading, they aren't stored on your phone.
    If you don't want them to show in the Music app then go into Settings > iTunes & App Store and turn Music (under the 'show all' heading) 'off' - as long as the tracks remain in your country's store then you can redownload them via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.

    2.  May be just a one-off instance. Only if you are unlucky, it may happen again. Never happened on my Lumia 920 and Lumia 1020 with so many updates. Anyway, you may try the Lumia Software Recovery Tool in such a case.

    Hi, hopefully someone can help me, sorry this so long, seems that everything has broken down...
    1. Last night I was trying to correct a few things in my library e.g. where itunes had wrongly split 1 album into 2 etc.. I assumed this would be straightforward but wish I hadn't even attempted it now...
    2. When I tried this for one or two albums and synched to see if it had worked, I was receiving error message like: "... won't play because it is not authorised on this ipod" and "... could not be located".  The songs had exclamation marks next to them and wouldnt play
    3. I googled some solutions and tried various things such as editing the "Get Info" details and re-pointing to the library, but in the end this just resulted in none of the files being located
    4.  I kept looking for solutions online, and tried various similar things such as collecting all music into one file, replacing it into the iTunes folder and re-pointing the library to it (in "Preferences") and re-synching but that still didnt work
    5. Then eventually nothing would play - not in iTunes and not on my ipod either - i.e. the songs were there but when I clicked play nothing would happen
    6. Eventually the synch removed all of my music off my ipod except what I had purchased from the iTunes store (so that is on my ipod but wont play. The podcasts wont play either)
    7. So next I tried to uninstall iTunes, re-install and recreate the library by pasting all the files back in.  But I can't re-install it.  The first time I re-installed it told me it couldnt find "Apple Mobile Device", and to uninstall and reinstall again.  I did this but now everytme I try to install I get an error saying I can't because an installation is already in progress.  I've googled for a solution and tried running "clean disk", restoring the system to before I'd unistalled etc.. but nothing works..
    I'm not sure if this is related but a few months ago my hard drive was replaced.  I recovered all my music and had managed to get things working but perhaps it is related if the original music files weren't in the places they were supposed to be or that iTunes was expecting??
    This also may be unrelated but for a few months now, whenever I try to sync I get a message saying "scan and fix" or "continue without scanning".  If I choose scan and fix it crashes my PC, so I just used to choose continue without scanning and it would sync correctly.
    Can anyone help?? The first thing I need to do is reinstall itunes I suppose but at the moment I cant even do that...

    Ok, seemed an antivirus program was preventing install, so that bit is sorted
    The problem now is that I cant import my old library.  I imported these files from CD a few years ago.  More recently I found one other old CD and have purchased things from the iTunes store. The CD i added recently is there, as are my iTunes store purchases, but I can't import the rest.
    Is there anything I can do?? They wont play in Windows Media Player either. Could there be a permissions issue??iTunes file formats changing in updates and now it doesnt recognise the old ones??

  • Cc desktop app crashs after language switch, cant be removed, cant be installed again

    2nd big trouble after beeing in the c.cloud for some weeks now.. I haven't seen the Adobe.forums in all the years as a customer so often before as I did in the last weeks..
    What did happen? I have swichted the language in the cc desktop app from German to English, because I need to download Photoshop in english.
    During the download the app crashed. Now it is crashing immediately after launch. I can not uninstall it, the uninstaller crashs, I can not download/install a new version, this is crashing too.
    System: OSX 10.9.4

    Comment to No4): removing all Adobe software, using the cleaning tool and start again is no option at all, this is too time consuming and cant be the solution just to get this little app running again. This is Windows95ish.. format your harddrive and start again.. ...come on Adobe you could do better...

    **UPDATE**
    Called up Adobe Tech support for a 3rd time, and this time got someone who was willing to work with me on this. Since the past two times we've used the "Install Now" option in Creative Cloud Desktop to update the application, which usually leads to failure, we tried to dump the current install and start fresh with the desktop app. Uninstalling the CC Desktop doesn't remove any of the installed programs.
    Do try this alternate method we:
    Uninstalled Creative Cloud Desktop application
    Restarted
    Downloaded and installed the latest version of Creative Cloud Desktop at Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial
    Once it launched it took about 20 seconds to sync up with the applications I currently have installed, but recognized they were there, and indicated there were updates!
    Ran all the updates
    This is why I seldom take the first "no" as an answer...
    I hope that this helps someone else out.
