X-fi card standard hardware accelerat

I get random stuttering in iTunes 7.0.2 whilst playing mp3 files. I'm not sure what exactly is causing the stuttering, I moved my x-fi xtrememusic sound card to another PCI slot and the IRQ has changed. I still get stuttering. I then decided to turn the hardware acceleration down one notch to "standard". By doing so, will there be any negati've performance impacts with my sound card?Thanks

I have all the requirements to meet Adobe's standards for GPU requirements, but this check box (Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels)[Edit>Preferences>Display] is disabled for me, why? Feature support levels
There are three tiers or levels, from lowest to highest requirements, of support:
Level 1: For OpenGL SwapBuffer:
This level simply requires a GPU that can do OpenGL 1.5, or greater, with Shader Model 3.0, or greater. Most ATI and NVIDIA cards, and the Intel HD Graphics 3000 chipset (available in the MacBook Air, Mac Mini, various Windows machines, etc.) and 4000 (Windows only at this time) are supported. If your GPU does not support these requirements, software OS blitting like CS5.5 occurs, and there are improvements for software blitting in After Effects CS6, as well.
Level 2: For Fast Draft previews, Hardware BlitPipe, and Cartoon GPU acceleration:
Includes Level 1 features. This level requires OpenGL 2.0, or greater (with Shader Model 4.0, or greater, on Windows), and 256 MB, or greater, of texture memory. Most ATI and NVIDIA cards released in the past five years, plus the Intel HD Graphics 3000/4000, support this level.
If your GPU does not support these requirements, these features will be disabled:
Fast Draft mode
The "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels" preference.
The Cartoon effect's "Use OpenGL When Available" option (the Cartoon effect then runs on the CPU).
Level 3: For Ray-traced 3D rendering on the GPU:
Includes Level 1 & 2 features (for machines with attached monitors). This level requires a supported NVIDIA GPU and 512 MB, or greater, of texture memory. For a current list of supported GPUs, see the Adobe website.

Well, you should be concerned that it isn't available - there is still some configuration issue with your graphics card - but you can live without it most of the time.

Hello.
The AE preference for "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels" makes my deep compositions workable - for a limited time, and then simple selection tasks slow down substantially, as if I had turned this checkbox off. What can I upgrade to have more "fast time" with After Effects? Thanks for any insight into how to make my system work. Also, this may be my last Mac.... Is anyone out there able to run hundreds or thousands of layers in After Effects on a PC without having simple select tasks slow down?
• simple selection task = "select all" in a single open composition with 10 layers or with 400 layers, although only in a project which contains deep compositions.

You are using to graphics cards of different model? That's probably why. I've really tried to see a difference with that switch and it's not measurable, so don't worry about it!

when did apple last upgrade the standard hardware on the macbook?

Cs5 compatible laptop video cards with hardware acceleration

Is there a list or does anyone know of laptops with compatible video cards for cs5 hardware acceleration? This would be for a windows 7 64bit system.'

its not so much a space issue as a power issue, but space is a concern too. I suppose I was looking for a list of laptop compatible cs5 cards. I know that there are cards out there that are and it would be wonderful if adobe compiled a list like they have for standard video cards. And yes you are right, a lot of the video cards listed on that page also have mobile counterparts but are not always compatible since they use different drivers.
Does anyone have laptop experience with getting full hardware acceleration support?

I am using my onboard soundchip (CMI9738), so I tought it is time for an upgrade, because after installing a Saphire Radeon 9550 GPU my sound started to be very anoing, I can't listen to music if I do something else,the music keeps stopping for a second or two- probably performance issue.
Since I don't want to invest much on a sound card, I think I will choose the Audigy SE.
So some questions:
. All my PCI slots are free, so it should be easy to ge it run - right?
2. Most important - does this card have any hardware acceleration what so ever? Will it increase my computer's performance? Let's say I am listening to music with winamp, will the CPU produse the sound or the card?
3. The sound quality will be much better - right?

Yes it does, and yes it is. As far as the Audigy 4 goes (not the Pro version) all the cards are the exact same, they just come three different ways,
. Retail - fancy box, remote, and maybe a game or two
2. OEM - just the card and driver disk, and it may or may not come with the remote
3. The SE - just the card and driver cd, no remote

I have been trying to update the drivers for my AMD HD Radeon 6750M graphics card on my 2.2Ghz Macbook Pro 15 Late 2011, but when using the search option here I can't manage to find it? Was wondering if i'm not looking correctly or what..
Another question is whether or not it is standard to have 512mb of video ram with this computer, because in my profiler it only shows 512mb but from the site i bought it it stated 1gb of vram. It does have integrated gpu; intel hd graphics 3000 with another 512mb so do they work together to equate to 1gb?
Last query is whether it is normal to get the error 'your video card does not support alpha blending with floating point render targets' when trying to play a standard game (Super MNC) on bootcamp/virtual machine because i expected a video card in a model at a decent end of the range to be able to run games like this..
Some insight into either 3 of my queries would be appreciated,

Apple releases updates to the graphics drivers via software update. Normally updates are released with OS X updates. The computer switches use between the integrated card and the discrete card. When you access About This Mac it will only provide information of the card currently in use. Turn off Automatic Graphics Swithing in System Preferences>Energy Saver and then open About This Mac.

In the display preferences this box is greyed out? I no I have the power to do it. I am running a Quad dual quadcore Xeon 3.16 with 4 GB of Ram and a Quadro FX 5600 with 1.5 GIG of ram and a FX 5200 with 256 Meg of ram. Any ideas? I searched the forums and the web and can find nothing about this and yes I did RTM

I really hope someone can HELP!!!! I have a HP Pavilion P5285A,- xt938. I did a Destructive System Recovery(fresh install) and my 3D Hardware acceleration stopped working. I have tried every fix I can find and I can't get my acceleration back. Audigy/MIDI Synth discrepencies with Hardware Accelerat

Hello all, I have a little bit of a problem with my SB Audigy and my Logitech Z-540 speakers. I have a bit of a problem with hardware acceleration it seems. I mainly use this computer for gaming, and I've noticed that I'll hear a sort of popping at times coming from my left speakers while playing. Upon numerous Google searches, I've come to no avail as to what may be the cause of this problem.
However, my speakers are properly set up, my drivers are all up to date as well as the software. I've found two things rectify my issue (but at undesirable consequence):
. I mute the MIDI Synth through volume controls, however this is inconvenient because I play some games that utilize MIDI for music (Blood, Doom, etc.).
2. I set the hardware acceleration to "Basic", but that in turn disables my EAX and other features.
Would anyone know what might be causing this issue of mine? Any tips, or any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated; this has been a most vexing issue for me.

Its a hardware mixer, wich is using your RAM for storing sounds. You have two synths with hardware support. And on the audigy, there is an additinal software mixer, too. (dont know if the x-fi supports it, too)
In Vista there you have to download a little tool to set the hardware synth as default. search function

Does the HTC Verizon Incredible come with SD card standard?

I have read numerous posts as I wait delivery that some came with a SD card. Does that mean some didn't? From what I understand, the card is a necessary component.

want to have a card with fuctions:
1) trigger an event by an external elec-photo sensor.( need 2 on the card)
2) hardware counter (count optic encoder signal pulse, 0-200hz) .
is there a card like this ?
or even 2 seperate cards?

2.     Output range of the photo-sensor
3.     Output range of the optic encoder

Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 - Video Hardware Acceleration Warning

I have been looking for an answer for this error for a few days without any luck.
I just loaded the Adobe Free Encoder 3 and the Flash Media Server (Free Version) on a Dell PowerEdge 1950 running Windows 2003 server standard edition with Service Pack 2. The computer has an Intel Pentium III Xeon 2.66GHz Quad core processor with 4GB RAM. I am using an Osprey 240 video capture card.
The computer was previously running Windows Media Encoder and it was working fine, but I needed to upgrade to a flash stream.
Whenever I start the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder I get the following error:
"The video card's hardware acceleration level is set too low. Open the Display Properties, Settings tab and click Advanced, then select the Troubleshoot tab and increase the Hardware acceleration setting. Then restart the application, etc...
I did as instructed and it did not work. I also tried changing the display settings to lower and higher resolutions. I also updated the video card to the latest drivers. I double checked the hardware requirements. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/systemreqs/ and it looks like I'm ok.
I also checked the approved hardware list http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flashmediaencoder/FMLE_DeviceMatrix3.0.pdf.
The Osprey 240 is not listed, but that seems to be working fine.
I'm thinking that the internal video card that I have may not be compatible with the Adobe Encoder. The video card that I have is an ATI ES1000 embedded video that has only 16MB of RAM.
I have the latest version of DirectX - I ran DxDiag and it shows that I'm running DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904), Under the Display tab it says that the DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Acceleration are not available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
