X-Fi extreme audio, crashes new comput

This is a brand new system and a brand new install of Windows XP Home, SP2. After installing the X-fi drivers sometimes the system reboots. After turning off auto reboots, the result is a blue screen with stop 8E in file p7xfilt.sys. This is repeatable every single time trying to run 3dmark03. Note this is *not* the only time the crash happens, but the crash happens every single time opening 3dmark03.
So far I have flashed the motherboard bios to latest version, have run creative software updater and it says it has the latest version .4.62, tried the card in all 3 pci slots, and totally removed and reinstalled the software. None of which helped at all.
I have already sent a support email in, but I have little time as this system is suppose to ship tomorrow. If I can't resolve this issue I will be forced to go with a Turtle Beach card.

Computer crashed, new computer how do I find lost bookmarks?

My old computer crashed [Windows 8.1]. I have a new computer [8.1]. I do not know about file saving. If my old bookmarks still exist in some form of Firefox storage, I would like to know how to recover them.

Your bookmarks and history are stored in the ''places.sqlite'' file in your Firefox profile folder. While Firefox is closed, you can replace the current file with the old one. Doing so will replace your current set of bookmarks and history. You may want to backup the current file beforehand.

So my old computer crashed and I now would like to have all of the music I purchased off of my old computer on my new computer. How do I go about doing this through the itunes music store?

I presume when your hard drive crashed nothing was recoverable from it. You could try contacting the iTMS Customer Service and see if you can persuade them to allow a second download. However below is an extract from the support page which as you can see states that is you lose your music you have to buy it over again. You can email them from the "backing up your music" link on this page: iTMS Customer Service
Why do I need to back up my music library?
Be sure to make regular backups of your music files (in your iTunes Music folder) by copying them to an external hard disk or other media. Otherwise, if your hard disk becomes damaged or you lose any of the music you've purchased, you'll have to buy any purchased music again to rebuild your library.

Move audio to new computer

I want to copy my audio from my iPod to a new computer. I have read the Apple support topic regarding this, and it only talks about syncing to my computer. I am afraid if I sync my iPod to my new computer (with now iTunes audio), may loose all my audio? How do I copu my music from my iPod touch to my new computer?

Unfortunately iTunes dont allow you to transfer songs to PC unless you haver purchased it. I would prefer you use any third-party applications like SynciOS to transfer songs to PC. Then you can put those songs to iTunes.
Sources : I had this same fu*king problem. This solved it. I am sure this will help you. SynciOS is a free software. There are also other softwares.

Old computer crashed new computer accusing me of stealing

I had an old computer that crashed on me about a month ago. I have a 1GB iPod Shuffle. It was full of music at the time. I got my replacement computer and installed the cd on it. When I plugged my ipod shuffle into my new computer it loaded all of the songs from it onto my computer. Then I got an error message on my screen and I had to unplug the ipod it get it to stop. I did go through the proper steps before I disconnected it. Now when I plug it in all it does is error everything until I disconnect it. I also did try to restore the settings on it but it just errors. I also received an ipod nano 2gb for christmas this year. I have plugged it in to my computer just fine and downloaded all the songs off my library on to that one. I'm not too good with these ipods but my 14 year old little brother is, but he's stumped too. Any one offer any suggestions? It's only a year old? Is it already junk?

Well now I think I have bigger problems. I just tried to plug it into my computer so I could write down what the error message was and now my computer won't pick it up and the ipod won't light up now. When I tried it this morning it did. I think it's hopeless.

Hard drive crash - new computer - files cannot be found

I had an extensive hard drive crash December 31st, just a few weeks after I had iTunes 8 updated, which lost all my music and I had to fill my music in manually again - which on a 60GB ipod is VERY time consumming...
My Computer guy installed a new hard drive and I have itunes once more - since he rescued a lot of old files from my former PC - the album artwork is there, so are the titles.
When I click on one I get the feared ""The song ... could not be used, because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" appears.
Now, this time I have all my music stored on an external hard drive ;O)
BUT - do I really need to locate each single file - click it on - and then iTunes can find it as well - as long as the external hard drive is on that is (if it's off the entire thing starts all over...)
Is there an easier way - I don't feel like playing this game again with 55 Gb of music?!
My frustration level has sunk to a new record and I am almost ready to give up on iTunes and my iPod - I seem to spend half my life with them lately :o(

Syncing to new computer will my songs be saved

OLd computer crashed, new computer with iTunes..synching my cell to new computer. Will my songs still be there?

THank you. The computer offered to transfer purchases when I authorised it for use with my iPod, but checking the 'purchased' section of iTunes, it shows only the music and books. I don't really mind if I lose those, because I didn't spend more thn a few pounds on them. It doesn't, however, show any of the apps I've downloaded from the store at all, and I've spent more on those than I'm willing to lose. Why aren't they showing up on iTunes? There isn't an apps section, either.
Is there no way to transfer apps from different computers?

Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.

Computer crashed, trying to register on new computer

My computer recently crashed which had I think CS5. (Cant remember if it was 5.5 or 5.) I have gotten a new computer now and am trying to install the program on my new Mac. I have logged into my adobe account but it does not show any products registered. I originally installed adobe from a disk but have since lost the disk. I have the serial number, but it says it has already been registered. Is there any way to help me install this onto my new computer?

You can only register a product once. That is not the same as activating a product, which is what you will use the serial number for. As long as you have the serial number you should be able to download the installation files and use the serial number to activate. You will have to figure out whether it is for CS5 or CS5.5 though.

Can I activate Adobe with same license on new computer if old computer crashed?

I now have a new computer so I am trying to figure out if I can deactivate the license from the old computer and use it for the new one. I've tried calling Adobe but keep getting put on hold. You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, so there is no need to wait to talk to anyone to get the new machine working. You can still get the crashed machine deactivated if you like by contacting Adobe Support by chat or phoine.

Adobe is a company... what does "Adobe 10" and "Adobe 7" mean?
If you bought those on disc I don't think they are part of the Cloud
The serial number is usually on a sticker on the disc holder inside the box
If you lost your serial number check https://www.adobe.com/account.html for your registered products
When you figure out what programs you have, you might check the specific forums

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

How do I move that music to the iTunes program (version 8) on my new computer.
