X-FI Fatal1ty Titantium Pro and no 5.1 still?

I have been attempting to keep quite for a long time for you guys to develop drivers that work properly with windows 7 64 bit and have just been the type to check the site every so often for new drivers to be released but nothing has been released to address this sound cards issues. I am completely irritated by the fact that I have a 50$ card I bought just before release of 7 and have yet to really be able to use it. I can test the card just fine with the speaker test and get all 5 channels during the test but doing anything else results in no sound except from the sub and the two front speakers. I have tried all recommendations on this forum but others are saying they have the same issues. I feel like I have been robbed because you guys have not really done much to address the issues. I don't understand why you have a forum if you aren't going to address your customers and I have yet to see this happen on what you guys are currently even doing. It should be obvious that what is currently out has not resolved all the issues so where are you going from here? I would like to enjoy what I payed for and I have not since the time I have bought it. Assistance please and response as to what you are doing is expected as a paying customer not just response is appreciated!

I'd use Daniel_K's support pack 2.0 (search this forum). If I remember right, there were issues with the default Creative installer for DDL/DTS in Windows 7, and his driver mod addressed it.

Nikon D7000 .MOV files in Premiere Pro and After Effects CS5.5

I recently upgraded from Production Premium CS5 to CS5.5. Initially Nikon D7000 .MOV files used in previous CS5 Premiere Pro project would not play well in CS5.5. Now .MOV files do work in both PP and AE CS5.5. Here are the steps I followed. Not recommending you follow my steps exactly, just providing info for those that are interested.
1.       Launch Premiere Pro CS5.5 and open previous PP CS5 project, convert project to CS5.5 and rename project file as not to replace previous CS5 project file.
a.       At this point .MOV files do not play in new project or in AE CS5.5
b.      Close Premiere Pro and After Effect if still running.
2.       Using Adobe Bridge CS5.5, batch rename;
a.       Make copies of original files to new folder location while renaming file extension from .MOV to .mpg
b.      Let Adobe Bridge finish creating all new thumbnail previews.
c.       Leave Bridge running in background.
3.       Launch Premiere Pro CS5.5, let Premiere finish recreating thumbnail previews if needed.
a.       Attempt to preview existing .MOV file in project. It worked for me.
b.      Attempt to play sequence containing .MOV files. It worked for me.
c.       Attempt to play or modify sequence .MOV files in AE CS5.5 via Dynamic Link within Premiere. It worked for me.
d.      Close Premiere Pro project and AE projects if open.
4.       Create new Premiere Pro project and sequence
a.       Import a different Nikon D7000 .MOV file not previously used or renamed.
b.      Attempt to play this newly imported .MOV file. This worked for me as well.
c.       The new, previously un-renamed .MOV file also worked in AE CS5.5 for me.
I will perform additional tests but at the moment Nikon D7000 .MOV files are working for me in CS5.5 after initially performing a batch rename in Bridge CS5.5 from .MOV to .mpg and letting Bridge create preview files. Even .MOV files not renamed now work.

I see 2 post in this thread from Todd that say they are working on a fix and it should be out soon. One is from July, the other from August. It is now Sept 7th and I still see no patches or fixes for any bugs. I spent 400 dollars on an upgrade, but is this upgrade going to be supported?
This is making me rethink upgrading to the .5's in the future.
It is a minor bug to most, but in that sense it should be an easy quick fix. Am I wrong? Is this really a complicated issue?
I apologize if this comes off like a rant, but thats kinda what it is. It is not hard to batch rename files, but its a pain to have to relink all those files in PP.

I check the drivers and is SB0460?. on the site it say Xtreme music but the code is the same with my card.. i used this drivers and nothing. i also used auto update and nothing again..

Did you try using an independent driver such as robertmc8's PAX driver or Daniel K.'s drivers? I have an old PCI-based Xtremegamer Fatalty Pro with Windows 7 64 bit and I am using PAX drivers. No problems here.

And do i need to use Alchemy on Windows 7, to gain EAX in games too? Can i also download and use PowerDVD with is deli'vered with the drivers? And what with Dolby Digital Li've? And last question: Can i gain a 5. sound with my Creative Inspire T600 sound system and use it in game, and music listening?without any trouble?

Titanium Fatal1ty Pro and front panel audio

So I hooked up my case's front panel audio cable to the Titanium card and used the front panel connectors.
The sound quality is noticeably worse than using the back plugs. When I use the front panel mic, I also hear artifacts in the sound. When I play a game, I hear slight buzzes in accordance to what is coming out of the speakers.
I'm wondering if this is just the quality of my cases's cables or if it also happens with the official creative front panel accesory.
Anybody want to comment on quality?

/Re: Titanium Fatalty Pro and front panel audioQI had an older Audigy 2 dri've connected to my X-Fi Xtreme Music and that never had any interference. The X-Fi dri've bay can't be bought separately anymore.
When I switched to a newer X-Fi without a front panel, I used the case connectors and the sound quality was awful.
I think it's the way the connectors are wired and the build quality. Despite the really awful drivers Creative ship for their cards, the hardware's actually pretty good.

is there any hardware level difference between XtreamGamer Fatality Pro and Elite Pro? (other than IO Console or remote)

Why did my Macs initially print fine, but now will not print at all?
Full Story:
I have a wireless network at my house that consisted of a 30mb cable internet, Netgear 900n, HP Officejet Pro 8600, 2 Dell Laptops with Windows 7, a Lenovo Laptop with Windows 7, and Dell Tower with Windows 7 - All printed just fine.
The HP Officejet 8600 was added to my network about 2 months ago.
I added a Macbook Pro and a Macbook Air about 3 weeks ago. Both Macs printed just fine for about a week. Then suddenly they stopped. I spent about 2 hours on the phone with HP Service, and they finally said it must be my router. So I called Netgear. Netgear was useless! They wanted me to agree to charges for services before they would even discuss the issue.
Due to information provided by HP's service support, and because Netgear will not support their product, I promptly purchased a new router - an Apple Airport Extreme.
The Macs recognize the printer, will print if hardwired via a USB cable, but will not print wirelessly to the Officejet Pro 8600. The PCs print fine.
The frustration that is being felt is compound by the fact that the Macs printed just fine with the Officejet Pro 8600 2 weeks ago, and now the printer just shows "idle"... even with a new router. (see image below)
Please help, I appreciate any support.
As a side note, the HP Service rep was very friendly, and definitely tried to support the HP Product, which is much more than I can say about Netgear.

More likely the issue related with Multicast, which Apple devices relies on to communicate with teh device through the network.
First try unplugging the router for 30 seconds.
Plug it back to the power and wait for 2-3 minutes.
Turn the HP printer Off and back On, then check for any difference.
If the same persists, try changing your router configuration as following
Note: the settings below are not related with the HP product, I provide you the steps as a best effor and those are only based on my own knowledge. you may try modifying the router settings at your own risk:
Open the router configuration page (can be found listed as the Default Gateway by clicking the Wireless icon on the printer, then print a network configuration report.
Click the Advanced tab.
Click the Setup option from the menu, then click on WAN Setup.
Make sure to uncheck the box next to Disable IGMP Proxying and Apply the changes.
Click the LAN Setup on the same Setup menu.
Set the RIP Version as RIP-2 and Apply the changes.
Reboot your router and then check for any change.

Sounds like you'll need to access that drive while it is not booted. You need to replace it anyway, so do that, then one way or another (ext enclusure, et), access it and copy files.
If you keep trying to boot it, you might kill it for good and not get your files, so just swap it out first.

Did you remove Quicktime X?
On a normal install Quicktime 7 is installed in the Utilities folder and Quicktime Pro in the main Applications folder.
You will need to reinstall OS X to get Quicktime X back if you have deleted it.
I notice yor profile says 10.5.8. Quicktime X is only available on 10.6 and above.
