clean uninstalled the drivers with drivercleaner and installed the drivers from the attached cd.

    Hi,
What would HP PC, operating system and video card are you using?
What version of Windows are you using on the desktop and the laptop?  32 bit or 64 bit?
Be sure that you have the latest version of DirectX 9 installed.
Also, check with the game manufacturer for patches and updates.

  • How to change video card on my laptop satelite L300D, please help, games wont work

and it only rates 3.0 index score ... really not applicable for gaming ... my need for speed games wont work... any can help me what would i do, so that my games would work ? ... any guides? ..please reply my post! ..

There aren't any laptops that I know of that can add another graphics card. There are a very few higher end laptops that have removable graphics cards, but for the most part on Toshiba's you can only replace it with the exact same type even if it is removable.  I think you are wasting your time and money trying to upgrade the graphics on that model.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

    Hi.
I did just run the update on my ipod touch, then it automaticly installed Touchgrind wich i bought from the itunes store.
But it wont work, when i push the logo on my home screnn it just appears an image of the touchgrind skate, looks like the game is about to start bur after showing the pic like half a second it just returns to the home screen.
    What's my problem??

Hello couple things you can do along with what was posted
    1. Reboot iPod Touch - Hold down home button & sleep/wake button till you see a silver apple logo, try launching app when touch is back up and running
    2. In iTunes go to Store in the top iTunes menu bar. Click on de-authorize computer, confirm, then go back and authorize computer, confirm, and do a normal sync.
    3. Download a free App from the computer sync it over to Touch, and attempt to launch app again.
    4. Restore touch if needed. Info below on how to backup, restore, and what programs will be needed to properly store your info & back it up.

  • Flash game wont work on a Mac

I have a game that was working fine, recently the client complained that on a mac and in Safari and Firefox the game is broken, but it works fine in Windows.  It's a card game, the problem is on a mac you can't drop a card.  I develop on a mac, and the game worked fine for almost a year.  Has anyone heard of any Mac flash player issues?
    here's the link: http://www.tnt.tv/games/charmedspellcaster/
    Thanks!

    Hello
Flash Player version 10.1.102.64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users. However, this Flash version won't work for many videos on Facebook, YouTube and other sites. Adobe's latest version, 10.2.x or later, is only for Intel Macs. Adobe will not provide a newer Flash version for PPC Macs.
The message requesting that you download Adobe Flash Player takes you to Flash Player requiring an Intel processor. Doesn't work on a PowerPC processor. I found a hack, installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • My games wont work

I brought Call of Duty 2 for the Mac. It's a Mac DVD game. I can get the files to copy to my application but when I click on the game icon the computer asked me for the original CD. The CD is in the computer, and it's a legit game that I paid for. I brought my Mac Book Pro to the Apple Store in NYC and the game. The person helping me tried to put it on another Mac, he recommend trying to create a virtual CD. not sure how that done on a Mac. Can anyone help. Just another note, I've brought this game a few months ago so i cant return the game.

You didn't say if the disk worked in the other mac from the apple store?
If it did then I'd be a little more concerned and check other disks in your drive to make sure that is not defective.
To make a virtual cd, go into the disk utility found in the applications->utilities select the drive and I think its a menu option. I forget the next steps but its in that application to create it.

  • My games wont work on my iPod (sorry, I mixed up the alias with the title)

I got a $20 iTunes gift card and bought 2 games with it, one being Brain Challenge, the other being Sonic, and when I went to load them up it said they won't work because I am un-authorised to play the games on this computer, I've tried restoring the iPod but that doesn't work, I think it might have to do with the iPod being uploaded on a different computer now, should i just take the iPod games to the original computer? Please help

Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu in iTunes, and provide your iTunes Store account details when prompted.

The sounds on the ipod on my ipad work but the sounds for all of my other apps are not working please help

OK......double click your home button and swipe the lowest row of apps you've recently used will come up.  With you finger, swipe that row to the right and you'll likely see an icon on the far left that is a mute icon.  Touch it and your sounds should come back.
Don't be scared.  There is something simple and we're going to find it.

  • My games wont work no !!!!!!!!

I have downloaded games in the past, but I saw a free game called Iquiz maker, and I thought it would be helpful for college tests. I downloaded it fine and I can run it, but when it comes to syncing it to the I-pod it's different. Do I have the buy something or can I just move it from different files. I tried to copy and paste it, which did nothing. I'm probably making this harder than it is.

No because it said i didnt have to, the game you buy just says it gives you quizes about your songs and it doesnt say that you can create your own.

  • [X-Fi Xtreme Gamer] Makes strange noises - then nothing. Beta Driver won't go away... *he

    Hi Folks
I got some Problems with my xtreme Gamer:
When I started my PC yesterday everything was fine, but after a while the sound produced some strange failures? ending in just making a horrible high noise.
I tried kinda everything I could think of (Restart, install new Beta Driver (October 7th) but nothing helped either the sound constantly was this Noise or nothing. I couldn't even see that something is playing in the Vista Sound menu. After installing the beta driver I could at least SEE that something should be playing (but only in general, not app-related) but nothing comes out my speakers.
So I tried to went back to try the latest official release (2.8) I had 2.6 before. But the Setup always tell me that I have a never Driver installed and just let me confirm some EULAs and want me to restart without installing anything. After the restart the same...
I tried to remove any Creti've Data from my system: uninstall the device in the Hardware-manager, uninstall the driver software, delete all files that could be related ti creative on any HDD and the registry, used CClenaer and Driver Cleaner Pro...
but it still tells me that i have a newer driver in stalled... (in the Hardware-Manager I got the yellow sign)
    So my questions are:
st. How do i swap this Driver off my system?
2nd. How do I get my sound working again?
My system: Vista x6, X-Fi Xtreme gamer (connected with cinch to my reciever wich works fine )

  • New drivers won't work for X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

I use Windows XP SP 2 with my X-Fi Xtreme Gamer.
I used the Device Manager to uninstall my old drivers (v2.5.0006), rebooted, cancelled the Windows new-hardware popup, and installed the new drivers (v2.5.0008). I had no sound immediately after the installation, though I think I should have heard mouse-clicking sounds and sounds that accompany opening and closing windows from my desktop and Windows Explorer. After restarting after the installation, I still had no sound.
To restore sound, I uninstalled the new drivers and reinstalled the old ones.

I have solved my own problem. The trouble was that using the Device Manager to uninstall my old drivers did not work. Apparently a file that needed to be deleted was not deleted, and that file prevented the new drivers from working. I finally got the new drivers to work by using the following procedure, which except from some notes I have inserted, was obtained by email from Creative support:
    1. Go to Control Panel, Add Remove Programs and un-install all listings related to your audio card. Do not restart your computer when prompted so.
    2. Go to Control Panel, and switch to Classic View. Click System, Hardware tab, Device Manager button and delete all sound cards entries in Sound, Video and Game Controllers as well as any previous sound card entries from the Device Manager. ?Note: Personally, to get to Device Manager, I don?t follow these directions. I do this: click the Windows Start button + E, look to the left and right-click My Computer, click Properties, click Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
    3. Reboot the computer and cancel out of any driver installation if you are prompted. Insert the Creative Sound Blaster installation CD into your CD-ROM dri've. Exit from the installation wizard if it autoruns.
    4. Click Start, Run and then Browse. Browse to Z:\Audio\Drivers\CTZAPXX.EXE, where Z represents the CD Rom Dri've. Choose YES if you receive a prompt "Overwrite existing shared creative audio driver files?" NOTE: This CTZAPXX.EXE file could not be found on my X-Fi Xtreme installation disk by using the Z:\Audio\Drivers\CTZAPXX.EXE path. I had do use the Windows Search engine to do a search on my X-Fi Xtreme installation disk. After finding it, I highlighted the CTZAPXX.EXE program, opened it, and continued with these driver-uninstallation instructions. This seems to be a critical step. If your installation disk doesn't have this file, or if you don't have an installation disk, I suggest doing a Web search for CTZAPXX.EXE. It's a Creative Update Utility, so I don't think it will harm your computer. But I use Windows XP, and I don't know anything about Vista.
    5. Select Driver un-installation for WDM drivers and click OK.
    6. When prompted to restart, say No.
    7. Click Start, Run, type MSCONFIG and press Enter.
    8. Check the box next to Selecti've Startup and deselect Load Startup Items.
    9. Select the SERVICES tab and select Hide All Microsoft Services.
    10. Uncheck all results and click OK.
    1. Browse to the C:\Temp folder and C:\Windows\TEMP (if it exists) - all files and folders in the temp folder need to be either deleted or moved to a new folder. ?NOTE: I had to go to my C:\Windows\TEMP file to do this step. Also, I took care to copy and paste all of these TEMP files to a new folder before I tried deleting them. Then I deleted all the Windows\TEMP files that I could. Some would not delete. Indeed some of these files could not be copy and pasted to the new folder. But that was okay. I just left alone those files I could not copy and delete, and I proceeded to delete all of the other files. The TEMP files that I could not delete did not affect my uninstallation of old sound drivers or the installation of new sound drivers.
    2. Browse to Program Files, Creative and delete the Sound Blaster Folder - if you get a file that won't delete, right click on the file, click Properties and clear all the attributes. The file should then be able to be deleted.
    3. Empty the Recycle Bin, and reboot the computer.
    4. If you wish to install your new sound drivers, do so now. Otherwise, go to the next step. If you do install you new drivers?which I would do?don?t restart after the installation. Do the next two steps first.
    5. Click on Start, Run. Type MSCONFIG and press Enter.
    6. Select Normal Startup, and press the OK button.
    7. Reboot the computer
    8. At this point I copy-pasted all those Windows\TEMP files from my new folder back to their proper place in Windows\TEMP. Then I deleted the new folder. While restoring these TEMP files to the Windows\TEMP file, I got a couple of messages telling me these files already existed. I clicked No. That is, I did NOT replace or overwrite any existing files in the Windows\TEMP folder.
    9. The new sound drivers should now be working.
