x husband blocked us from using face book and u tube on home computer.
what do I need to do to re istall it ??

There is no reinstall process for facebook it is a website that you visit stored on servers far away from your Mac.
However, If you go to System Settings, then Parental Controls, you will however need to be logged in as Administrator or know the password.

There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password.  There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons,

There is nothing that anyone here on a user forum can do to help you.  If it is a local issue in Syria, then you need to take it up with your phone company or authorities there who have prevented you from using VPN.
    Nobody here can help you.

  • I have a blank pop-up that shows up when I start firefox. It doesn't blocks me from using my browser. What can I do to remove it?

I have run a virus scan, and there were no viruses or bugs found. I have uninstalled Foxfire, restarted my computer, and then reinstalled Foxfire again. This window continues to keep coming up and blocks me from using the web browser. What else can I do to get rid of it?

Type '''about:support''' in the address bar and press '''Enter.'''
Under the main banner, press the button; '''Copy Text To Clipboard.'''.

my antivirus(macfee) has blocked me from using firefox browser. how do i unlock it?

Several tried to but no one seemed to understand the real problem.
I COULD, because it was mine too. So it follows the only ultimate solution:
    1. Open Firefox
    2. On the address bar, type – about:config in the URL. Press Enter.
    3. You will be warned about Warranty. Click on “I’ll be careful…”
    4. On the Filter dialog box type – search.conduit
    5. It will display all related entries. Right-click on Preferences Name and Reset.
It worked for me, after trying a dozen of "fake" solutions. ;)

  • Safari - won't let me send messages using face book do i need an upgrade ?

can't send message's using face book is this because i need to up grade my safari browser? and if so with what? i have a power book g4 10.2.8

    Hi Glen,
Check you are allowed to make changes to your Safari cache folder..
    ~/Library/Caches/Safari/
Perform a 'Get Info' (Cmd+I) on the listed folder in Finder and check to make sure that it isn't locked, and that you have write privileges.

  • ISP is blocking us from using their smart host, they think we are spamming.

Our ISP is blocking us from using their smart host a few times these days. They told me that one or some of our computers were infected and spamming. I checked Trend Micro console, but have not seen any viruses so far.
We migrated from SBS2003 to SBS2011 a few days ago. And our ISP blocked us from using their smart host on the very next day. Ever since then, this has happened 3 times in a week.
If I use our own server to send out emails, some recipients will reject because of their spam filtering system.
    Any thoughts, suggestions??
    Thanks in advance!

On your network firewall, you can block outbound SMTP (25) for all of your network systems and create an allow outbound SMTP (25) for your server. Thus if a workstation is trying to send direct to the internet your firewall should prevent the communications
but it will allow your server to send mail out to your smarthost. If your firewall can support unified threat protection, enabling such services will aid you in assuring yourself and your ISP of the clean bill of health for your messaging environment.
You can also force a password change on all of your user accounts as a preventative measure. If you were dealing with ISP mailboxes or an external provider, this would be where the vendor would start.
You should also be able to get support from your ISP; if they are blocking your connection they must have some information to work with that will help you narrow your approach. Another option would be to look into third party smarthost/sanitation services
such as Forefront Online Protection for Exchange which can certify your email and can allow you to bypass your ISP.  Usually an ISP offers a free smarthost service but what you get in return is entry-level service, but if you pay for outbound smarthost
services, you get a service level and support agreement.
    Hope that helps,

  • Blocking neighbors from using my signal

I've recently noticed that someone has been using my signal to get online. Is there a way to block others from using my signal? I have two eMacs that are hard-wired to a di-614+ router. I have disabled the WEP and SSID Broadcast wireless settings but have not noticed any difference. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

You indicate that your Macs are hardwired to the router. If you don't have any need for the wireless option, you can turn it off entirely. This is explained on page 11 of the manual that is available from the D-Link web site.

  • How do I transfer music from my Ipod to my home computer?

How do I transfer music from my Ipod to my home computer?

    - Transfer iTunes purchases to the new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
    - Transfer other music by using a third-party program like on of those discussed here:
    newer copy
If you want to make this computer the syncing computer then also do:
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
    - Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

Also why is there no customer service phone number associated with Adobe Photoshop? It makes me hesitant to purchase from a company that refuses to offer support. I guess I'm asking a question on a forum and the company directed me to.??

Yes, you're permitted to activate the software on a maximum of two computers at the same time.

You will need both License Keys the Lightroom 4 upgrade key and the Lightroom 3 key. You can download the latest LR 4.4.1 from the site below. Just make sure you get the appropriate one for your operating system.
Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh
Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows
Install then you first enter the LR 4 upgrade serial number and then the LR 3 serial number when prompted.

We are sorry to have lost you as a valued customer ndl9! I'm sorry to hear of the difficulties you are having with trying to pay your final bill. Our best recommendation is the pay my bill link, which should allow you access based on your former phone number or account number. Did you try both? As an additional option, you can reach our automated system from an alternate line by dialing 800-922-0204 and then entering your former wireless number. http://vz.to/1fdEQVi

    please let me know!

I would suggest to first read into port forwarding to better understand what your're doing. Then you can use sites like http://portforward.com/ to get the info for your particular router model.
Basically you need to accomplish the following:
    • Your Mac needs to have a static local IP address
    • The router needs to be set up to forward ports(*) to the Mac's IP
    • The corresponding service must be active on your Mac (FTP, AFP, SSH, etc.)
*You need to know the port number(s) and protocol(s) used by the service. For example AFP (Apple File Protocol) uses port 548 TCP.
Additionally you need to know your external IP. That's the one your router gets from your ISP. Since this usually changes every 24 hours, it's a good idea to use a dynamic DNS service like http://www.dyndns.com/ which will give you a hostname that always reflects your current IP and therefore you only need to remember the hostname instead of a new IP every 24 hours. This, of course, requires your router to have a Dynamic DNS option, otherwise you will need to download a software client for your Mac which takes care of it.
