X-path query error

Hi,
I am getting the below error. Can anyone please help me to resolve the below error.....

The assign activity part and query are returning multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query named in the error message returned multiple nodes. It should return single node. Looks like you are assigning a list to a non list element, use the index(eg. [1] or [12]) for the left hand operand(i.e., from part of the assign).
