X1 on demand not working

since the billing upgrade on 8-3-2015. my on demand on X1 isnt working it says somethings not quite right and says we need to update your account SRM-901F. also i cant see my account on the apps on X1 either. is anybody esle having this and how can i fix it ive try rebooting the box.

    For the last two days I have not been able to use the fios on demand I received error codes 268,144. When I spoke with tech support I was told they were doing an upgrade and was to be back online by 8am 3/20. It is now 1:00 am and still not working.   • Wake on Demand: Not working for some services, others OK

    I haven't been able to figure this problem out... Wake on Demand for a previous generation Mac mini running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 works for things like a CrashPlan automated backup but does not work for things like remote SSH login or Screen Sharing. In all cases, the services are being originated on a latest generation iMac running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.2).
    While it's not an earth-shattering event to get off my backside and walk over to the Mac mini across the house to press its Shift key to waken the thing, it gets rather old to have to keep doing so, especially since CrashPlan automated backups are taking place while the Mac mini is otherwise asleep (the sleep indicator is slowly pulsing).
    I've been through the Apple tech notes regarding Wake on Demand for Snow Leopard 10.6 and have ensured that AirPort and its network are at the top-most position in their respective lists. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I can do. Wake on Network is enabled in the Snow Leopard Mac mini's network System Preferences and there doesn't seem to be any on/off option in the AirPort Extreme base station (just recently updated to 7.6 firmware).
    Any thoughts... hints... suggestions?
    One final note: this Mac mini is new as of July 2011; just days before the latest generation of Mac mini came out. It came pre-installed with Snow Leopard and, as soon as the users of this mini find software replacements for the old PPC style applicaitons they're used to using, will be upgraded to Lion. However, I feel a bit unsettled in making the move to Lion if I can't get a Snow Leopard feature to work properly. There's no telling if the Lion upgrade will actually fix this behavior or make it worse.

    I don't think you can wake on network with a closed lid. Try keeping the lid open and putting the machine to sleep. Does it work?

  • TV on demand not working with FF on XP partition works fine with iexplorer or on Linux partition?

    I have been use firefox on XP and Linux for years and I watch and listen to the BBC iplayer as well as four on demand, five on demand ect. a few days ago this just stopped working.
    At first I thought it was the iplayer not working but tried looking at other site and they are not working. Youtube is fine though.
    When I switched to my Linux partition it works fine then I tried iexplorer and the sites works fine.
    I have explored at length for answers online and the only thing I have come up with is 'Npdsplay dll' plugin for FF but I appear to have the latest version.
    Should I try one of the fix tools online I am always a bit dubious about these downloads?

    There are a number of active threads concerning the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (13). Not all users are experiencing the same issues, but things to check include the following:
    - Conflict with Realplayer Browser Record plugin (to disable this, open Add-ons from the orange Firefox button or the classic Tools menu and look under the Extensions and Plugins categories)
    - Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 Adobe Forums: How do I disable Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?])

    My on demand has not been working since June 4, 2015. We called to report this and a technician was sent out after we couldn't get it fixed over the phone. The technician came and was at our house for 5 hours and could not fix the issue. He changed the wiring and that still did not fix the issue. Also when he changed the wiring he had to unbury the old cord but he left the new cord on top of the grass which is a hazard and still has not been buried. The technician said he had to escalate the issue and someone would call us back and we have yet to receive a call and the on demand is still not working going on week 4! I called today and the rep said that the engineers are working on the issue and they don't know how long it will take and we can't call for updates so we just have to wait which is unfair. Another rep said that we don't pay for on demand so they can't compensate us for the outage. This is the craziest thing and I am ready to leave Comcast because of this and their treatment. My family uses on demand quite often and it sucks not having it. We have tried over and over to unplug the boxes, send signals and nothing is working and Comcast is no help

    Evening all.
    As title suggests, my on demand is not working. I just get the annoying rotating triangle. Tried rebooting both box and hh3 and modem thingy but to no avail. I am at the point of no return....
    Before I cancel my entire package, is there anything I'm missing (obviously apart from a call from technical that I was due in October of last year)!!!??
    I don't like whining, but my whole package has been a nightmare from the start.

  • Sky on demand not working

    Hello please can you help. Our sky on demand service has stopped working. It always used to work, we have downloaded programs etc in the past. Network setting say failed to connect to our sky router. We use an Ethernet cable. If I connect the same cable to my Xbox we can access online content so doesn't appear to be a problem there. When we use either the Xbox or sky we used to unplug cable and connect to the desired device, not sure if this affects anything? Is it possible to turn the Ethernet plug on the sky box off? we have tried sky's online help of turning router and box off etc, no good.... all help appreciated, thanks Dan

    Try resetting the connection, go to Settings > Network and press select and then the red button, sometimes it can take a few presses of the red button to get it to work.
    If this hasn't worked remove the ethernet cable from the back of the box that goes to your router then plug it back in after 3 minutes.
    Something else to try is to reboot your sky box at the mains, after powering it back up wait a further 5 minutes before using the box again.

  • Planner and on demand not working

    All of a sudden my catch up won't let me record things I've searched for - displays message that my sky box is still initialising (but it's been on for ages!) I can record programmes that show up on the main screen e.g by day, featured, most popular etc.
    Also a problem with my planner - I no longer appear able to use series link. Programmes in the scheduled section are not recording - sky shows the message that sky is searching for these programmes and will record once they're found?
    Have tried rebuilding planner, re-booting sky box, checking router. Still no luck. Any ideas??

    Have you tried a software download, turn your box off and when turning it back on hołd down the backup button on the top of it and keep it held down until you see the updating software message onscreen.

  • ON DEMAND not working - will not load listings.

    This has been going on for 2-3 weeks now. When I press the on demand button on the physical remote or choose a program to watch On Demand using the tv remote app on my iPad, the screen turns black with the words "XFINITY On Demand" on the screen...I can hear the regular cable channel running behind the black screen.
    After a few seconds of unsuccessful loading of the On Demand screen, a message appears that says, "UNABLE TO PROCESS REQUEST. Please try your request again in a few minutes. For more info and further assistance, please visit Comcast.com/help." Then it goes back to the cable channel I was previously watching (and could hear in the background of the black screen).
    Retrying the request repeats this process. Tried resetting the box using the "My Account" app and nothing happened. WHATS GOING ON HERE?

    In addition, when this problem started, I was in the middle of watching a program On Demand and it froze. I exited out and began receiving this message every time I try to access On Demand.

    Hi Hammylma, this is sounding like a hardware issue, and the equipment might need to get swapped out. If you haven't already please make sure that the coax cable on the back of the box is screwed on tight bypassing any un-needed or gold splitters. After please power cycle the set top box by unplugging for the power cord for 10 seconds and plug back in. If you are still having this issue please let me know.

    Trying to Manage on Demand on the web site.  Page does not load correctly.  IE Crashes.  Firefox just does not work.  Something wrong with the web site.

    Do I need to do anything special to allow the click to run functionality in Project Online to work? Or does it not work for Project Online?
    We have a Project Online trial, but when the users who do not have Project Pro on their desktops, try to select Edit the project in Project Pro, they get an error saying that Project Pro needs to be installed first.
    I would have expected click to run to download it.
    I feel I may be missing something basic here.
    Any advice please?

    Project Online in itself is not sufficient.  You need Project Online with Project Pro for 0365, or another Office 0365 sku that includes Project Pro.
    Assuming you have either of these, then the admin has to assign the Project Pro licence to the user (admin | users and groups)
