X100e win xp pro usb installation problem

Hello to all, i am new here and sorry for not not introducing myself properly bu this is urgent situation.
Few days ago i bought Lenovo x100e Netbook
Product ID: 35086AG
Athlon MV40(1.6GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 11.6in 1366x768 LCD, ATI Radeon HD2200, 802.11bgn wireless, WWAN upgradeable, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, 3c Li-Ion, WinXP Home 32

Netbook came with preinstalled Win. XP Home edition and i was going to install Win. XP Professional.
So i created bootable USB stick Win. XP Pro. installation (cause this netbook dont have internal cd drive) and booted on startup and started installation.
Installation was going smooth -> i choosed C partition, formated it and after formatting next message shows up:
"The following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is
corrupted or missing:
Value 0 on the line in section [SourceDiskFiles]
with key "SSA.exe."
Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3."
So as you can see...i can't go on with installation and problem is the disk is already formatted and i have nothing on it, no OS no nothing.
Please help cause i need laptop soon.

I solved problem,
As i could not find vanilla, i found standard Win. XP Pro. with SP3, and using nLite added ATI AMD RAID AHCI driver to it and using multiboot 10 put that on USB stick. It booted with no problems and installed

You should try to start the OS installation with Recovery CD and/or with the Windows XP CD. If this both procedures doesnt work so I assume there is something wrong with the hardware. Maybe a faulty HDD. In this case the best way to solve this issue is to contact the ASP

I have Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 Pro Usb connected analog with Creative Inspire 5200 (5.1). Operating system Win8.1 with full updated. When I watching DVD etc 5.1 sound-everything is ok. But if i listen stereo music, there are 3 channels work that Front right,left and Center. This is not enough satisfy me.
On the other hand, when i watching something on youtube, there are 4 channels work (Front Right/Left&Rear Right/Left) which is better.
Which settings fix my problem for 4 channels listening stereo?

TouchSmart 300 Blue screening after Win 7 Pro 32bit Installation

I have just installed Win 7 Pro 32bit as a clean install and now the PC is blue screening and will not boot. I have tried reinstallation several times and same thing. I am installing from a Win PE bootable memory stick. The source is fine as I have checked on another PC (different model). Any ideas?

I see a few things that are going to be problems for you:
1) Your PC is 64bit and you are installing a 32bit version of the OS (likely why you're not able to boot).
2) When you install a new version of Windows over the one that came pre-installed, you will lose all of the TouchSmart software and HP software and drivers that was installed and used to make the hardware function properly.

Spilled liquid on top of mac book pro; usb/wifi problems.

So yesterday evening I spilled hot chocolate on the top of my mac book pro while it was sitting on my desk closed. I picked it up, unplugged everything from it and grabbed a towel so that I could try it off. I got most of it off and nothing got into the keyboard area underneath. But I did see some of it get into the side ports and mainly the first usb port. I just realized that now when I plug something into that usb port, the wifi and usb don't work! The second one is reliable and works fine, it charges and plays audio. That is basically all I use it for. But now I am limited to just one usb port, it could be alot worse. It is an annoyance though, especially since I bought this laptop literally a year ago. From what I understand Apple will only guarantee their product for one year and won't honor most customer accidents. So with an expired warranty by just days, I am left with a perfectly working computer -1 usb port. I know getting frustrurated wont solve anything and I've spent the last hour figuring out why the internet and mouse weren't working.
What are my options? Anyone else have this kind of problem? Is there something I can do to fix my computer?

Take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. Liquid damage is not covered under Apple's standard 1 year warranty or Apple Care.
NOTE: If you are out of warranty and purchased the computer with a credit card, discuss the warranty issue with the credit card company which you purchased the computer with. They are the only ones who can at this point cover the computer after it goes out of warranty with the manufacturer (Apple).
If you have Homeowners insurance, place a claim with them.

Pple 24" LED and Mac Pro usb connection problem

Hi,
I'm having issues with my Mac Pro 8 core (2008) connected to an Apple 24" LED. I have a Radeon HD 4870 graphics card installed in the Mac so I can use the Apple LED mini displayport connection. The video works perfectly fine but to use the built-in speakers and iSight in the Apple LED I have to use the USB cables and connect them to the USB sockets of the Mac Pro. This is where the problem seems to be as after a time using the Mac it crashes in a strange manner and I get a few lines of coding and the Mac shuts down on its own. I've used Dr Botts extension cables to extend to reach of the USB cables which I thought maybe the issues and taken this off and I've also unplugged any devices plugged into the extra USB sockets on the Apple LED. I think it's something to do with using the speakers as playing video seems to crash the Mac also but once I unplug the USB cables the video plays fine, but without speaker sound. Has anyone had similar problems and have any solutions?

Mac Pro USB port problem

The front USB ports on my 2010 Mac Pro aren't working. Every time I boot the Mac, I get a message window - twice - saying they were drawing too much power, and have been switched off, even though they're empty.
I've tried resetting the PRAM, powering off and unplugging everything and removing the battery from the logic board. Nothing has worked. The two front-facing FireWire ports are working, but the USB ports just won't come alive. Does anyone have any further ideas?

I would run the Apple Hardware Test:
Checking for a Hardware Problem
If you suspect a hardware problem, use the Apple Hardware Test application to help
determine if there’s a problem with one of the Mac Pro components.
To use Apple Hardware Test:
1. Disconnect all external devices from your Mac Pro, except the display, keyboard,
and mouse.
If you have an Ethernet cable connected, disconnect it.
2. Restart your Mac Pro while holding down the D key.
3. When the Apple Hardware Test chooser screen appears, select the language you
want to use.
4. Press the Return key or click the right arrow button.
5. When the Apple Hardware Test main screen appears (after about 45 seconds), follow
the onscreen instructions.
6. If Apple Hardware Test detects a problem, it displays an error code. Make a note of the
error code before pursuing support options. If Apple Hardware Test doesn’t detect a
hardware failure, the problem may be software related.
You may also consider replacing the front panel board.

MagicBulletLooks1.4 for Premiere Pro CS5 Installation Problem:'unauthorized-register or reinstall'

I have a problem with installing Magic Bullet Looks 1.4 for Premiere Pro CS5 on my computer. Upon installation, when I launch PrPro, drag and paste 'Looks' video effect on a clip on the timeline I get every time the following message:
'Magic Bullet Looks is unauthorized - please register or reinstall'
The clip over which I apply the Looks effect starts flickering and if I try to open the Looks' 'Edit' in Effects Control it fails and I got the following message: "Unable to create a preview frame for LooksBuilder'
I tried to reinstall the software (as administrator) three times but the outcome was every time the same. I need to add that 'Magic Bullet MisFire' that came with Looks 1.4 installs properly and works just fine.
Have you experienced the same problem? Can you please advise me how to fix it?
Here are my system specs:
Windows 7 (64bit)
Adobe Master Collection CS5 (64bit)
CPU: Intel i7 - 930
12GB RAM
Mobo: Asus P6T
Graphics card: nVidia 250GTS (from MSI) with 1GB DDR3

In your Applications folder, there should be an app caller Server.app
Double-click that to start the server installation.

If you're saying the system crashed during the install, it might be a good idea to sort that out before installing PP, if only because sorting that out could potentially lead to a full rebuild of Windows.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 Installation Problem

I've had Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 running fine for several years on XP Pro. Our company rolled out upgraded hardware with a new image about a year ago, and I cannot successfully install 8 on any of the units. Most recent issue, using CD, install went up to accepting end user license. I accepted and then installation froze and I had to End Program. When I try to launch now, Getting Started splash screen comes up then program freezes and terminates. It seems like a permissions/security issue, can anybody assist?

I assume the new system is Win7 and most likely a 64-bit system. If so, you may just have to upgrade to AA XI. Folks have gotten AA8 to work on a Win7 32-bit system. You might be successful if you download the updates for AA8 and install those. I think it took at least AA8.1 to work with a 64-bit XP.

Logic pro X - installation problem

I purchased my Mac Apple Store Italy (on line) in February 2015, with funding
In the configuration of online mac I added the application LOGIC PRO X (200 €).
As soon as I received the MAC appeared nell'AppStore updates to be done, including an update of LOGIC.
Unfortunately I tried to update the application but I can not. After contacting several numbers with their assistance we realized after about a month that those who have installed Logic Pro X on my Mac (some of the Apple Store) is not associated with the application Logic to my apple ID and it does not appear in Logic ' list purchased applications.
So I have installed on my MAC LOGIC a pro X original, but it is as if it were not because it is not linked to my ID and I can not update it.
I'm talking to three months with a guy Enterprise Advisor, Apple Distribution International,
Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Cork, Ireland, but I can not solve the problem.
The thing starts to bother me and I did not expect a similar attitude from Apple that tells me that it can not rimborsami cost LOGIC because the mac (with logic included) purchased through financing, does not give me alternatives to uninstall and re-Please install Logic so that it's mine, and I find myself with a program paid 200 euro and it is as if it were cracked.
It seems normal ????? I paid regularly and followed what I had to do. The apple has already received the money and I find myself with a problem having paid 200 euros !!!!
I hope apple after 3 months will solve my problem QUICKLY.

Office 2013 Pro-Plus installation problem on Windows 8

Downloaded OfficeProfessionalPlus_x86_en-us.img from TechNet on my brand new Dell PC.
When double clicked, Windows complains 'Sorry, There was a problem mounting the file".
Used 7Zip and saw a Setup.exe
When I ran Setup.exe it complains "The specified module could not be found"
I have removed Office 2010.

We recommend you download it from the website and extract it again to make sure your source install is complete.
Run setup.exe as administrator then try the install.

Firefox 17.0.1 Crashes with "Script is busy or has stopped to work" under Win 8 Pro 64bit - no problem under Win Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

Firefox hangs and takes a few minutes to run again :( until next hangout :(((( Reinstalling didn't help.

Trial Version of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended Installation Problems

I just downloaded a trail version of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. We are trying to install this version on Windows Vista Enterprise which is being vertualized with Parallels version 3.0 on a Mac O/S Leopard. We get the following errors; Main_File_Version Error, Product_Registry_Parant Error, and Product_Registry_Key Error. Does any know if Acrobat 9 will work in this type of environment?

I cannot speak for the trial or Vista, but Pro 9 Extended works well
with XP SP3 under Parallels.
