X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication
Hi all:
I've started xdmcp service in my desktop machine
and i keep getting this msg yet i don't know where it comes from
since i have no trouble logging into my machine
i suppose it's someone else
where can i find the ip or other information on this ?

and now when I try to run certain programs, namely Symantec NetBackup
Server (NBS) administrator interface, jnbSA, when I run the program I see:
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
and jnbSA fails. I removed these patches:

118667-27 JavaSE 5.0: update 25 patch (equivalent to JDK 5.0u25), 64bit
124457-03 X11 6.6.2: xdm patch
with no change. I have made NO updates to NBS, and what's
even more weird, regular X11 programs such as x{eyes,biff,emacs}
work fine.
I've tried tinkering with the contents of ~/sshconfig and /etc/ssh_config
to no avail.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?
Any suggestions?

question, if it is not, I'd appreciate it if someone would
tell me a more appropriate place.
I have an occasional problem when I use either ssh -X or ssh -Y
to a Oracle (nee Sun) Solaris host. I can run most
X11 programs but when I run one particular program, the
program will display this error message and fail:
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
The program which occasionally fails is the Symantec Netbackup
Server Administrator interface: jnbSA. Like I said other X11
programs run fine (xeyes, xbiff, xclock, etc.) It's just this
one application which fails intermittently. When it fails
it will display these messages:

while I tried changing that, it still does not correct
this problem.

X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication- Opera not starting
Hi,
I tried X11 forwarding on a remote machine by giving the command
ssh -X user@remote-host-name
And I successfully logged into that remote machine and X11 is working properly. Even I started mozilla, firefox etc - working properly.
But, when I tried to start opera, I got the below error message.
-bash-3.00# opera
opera: $HOME set to /root. Use -personaldir if you do not want to use /root/.opera/
X11 connection rejected because of wrong authentication.
opera: Fatal IO error: client killed

over same LAN , the client gets the error below :

I've installed XE 10.2 under Fedora Core 7 from the downloaded .rpm. The RPM installs fine, and I've run the config from the command line. I've edited my bash file to load the environment variables. Here's my hosts file:

Please attach std_server0.out file too. Also, on the Abap side, ensure the HTTP port is set. This can checked by tcode smicm->Goto-> Services. The HTTP entry must be enabled and the port number should be displayed.
If it isnt enabled, then activate the http port in the instance profile using RZ10 Tcode.
Also, AFAIK, the parameter com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.mshost is maintained in the exchange profile.

Besides, the error "The client could not be authenticated because the Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) Type cannot be processed by the server" may be due to that the default maximum transmission unit that NPS uses for EAP payloads is 1500
bytes. You can lower the maximum size that NPS uses for EAP payloads by adjusting the Framed-MTU attribute in a network policy to a value no greater than 1344:

Getting NetConnection.Connect.Rejected
I signed up with a FMS hosting service. They have a nice
interface where I was able to install an application. I called it
"simple", cause its bare bones simple. After installing, it gives
me the rtmp connection string. Problem is - I get
NetConnection.Connect.Rejected every time. I tried removing it, and
installing again. But same thing.

Your code looks good - I think there's nothing you can do
other than wait. Apparently there's something wrong with the VHOST
configuration on their side. -
App rejected because Review Team unable to talk to my server.
My app is rejected because Review Team cannot log into my app using given test account and password.
They sent me the screenshot which shows the error - "Server communicatin error" - a custom error I defined when a connection with my server is failed.
However, I cannot replicate this issue on my end - testing it both on emulator and actual device under the same testing environment as theirs.
Check the server, there is no problem at all.
It appears their testing environment has a problem with network?
I replied telling them that I cannot reproduce this issue. They told me to seek help from Technical Support Team with crash log - but no log can be produced as it is working fine on my side.
This is the entire story. I am now really frustrated and having no idea what to do next.
Can anyone help me out?

To Michael and other developers: Anyone level 5 or above should be able to edit any User Tip. So feel free to hack up these tips. I think it is going to take a few of them. I should have done this a long time ago. Just be aware that the User Tip editing system is a bit crude. Once you edit someone else's tip, it transfers ownership to you. If there are multiple people editing a tip, it may get passed back and forth. I don't think people have really exploited the collaborative authorship avenue on User Tips very much. These tips are going to need that. There are some areas where I have very little knowledge, like book suggestions, online courses and tutorials, teams, business accounts, most iOS stuff, and other areas where I am so clueless I don't even know I am clueless. -
App rejected because icloud image in library view ??
hi there, just got our app rejected because 'app includes one or more Apple trademark images - or likenesses of Apple trademark images - including iCloud icon image..'
They provide the screenshot below to show what they mean.
But if I'm right the iCloud icon image is not provided by us but by Adobe, and only when the app is not downloaded. But the library view can only be seen when the app is fully download (multi-folio app with 1 folio for iPad and 1 for iPhone).
Can anyone tell me what's wrong about this or where I have to search for an answer ?

None of these appear to work, however they do work with the original streaming player I created. I'm using an adaptation of the Strobe Player and an unmodified version of the OSMF framework.
I'm using a slightly modified version of the StreamingURLResource class when loading which adds some functionality overriding the mediaType getter, but I dont think that this is the cause because it simply returns the super.mediaType property unless the URL is a YouTube URL.
When I break into the class responsible for creating the NetConnection I notice that I always get a net connection rejected status.
Any help would be appreciated. You should find that this problem is reproducable with any of the example code on the OSMF website.

LOST PASSCODE
You should be able to remove the passcode by restoring the device. Do the following:
1. Connect the device to the computer to which you normally sync;
2. Open iTunes (Note: If iTunes prompts you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes" in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 )
3. Right-click the device in the left column of iTunes and select Back up (read this article on how to restore http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 )
4. When the backup is complete, select Restore
5. When finished, restore from your most recent backup
To restore read the restore section in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
If that doesn’t work you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it. -

Thank you both for your responses, my findings are as follows:
1. HOST=X.X.COM, ensure host is reachable : PING works and host(s) are reachable.
2. In RAC Env, ensure TNS Name is correctly spelled, spelling fine, i can connect with the tns name (is TNS name same as SERVICE_NAME?) by: sqlplus 'user/user@racenv'; but my efforts still will not allow me to use:
sqlplus 'user/user' it tells me that the host or object is does not exist, does this refer to the actual physical machine or the service name, or the instance name?
All host entries in my tnsnames.ora file refer to the vip addresses of both servers holding the rac installation, and both are resolved just fine, testing with ping; any other way to test this?
tnsnames file contains CONNECTION strings in the following order (does the listener entry need to be in the file? on the machine that i am trying to connect from?):
