X205-S9810 Computer just stopped working No beeps just black screen
Yesterday my laptop which was running just fine, went to sleep and I couldn't revive it. When I turn it on the fans start, the hard drive initializes then stops, the DVD starts and stops then the fans turn off and that's it. Black screen the entire time. Battery or AC Adapter makes no difference. The clock light flashes amber then red. I always have the AC Adapter plugged in.
I don't understand what could have happened I was using the machine just a few hours before.
I am an experienced builder and I am comfortable doing just about anything with hardware but this one has me puzzled.
Help please I need me computer back.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod just stopped working. No charging, no screen.. nothing.
I desperately need help. My laptop is my life. I don't have any idea why or when it stopped working, but I was using it and it was just fine, but then I got a notice that there was a 43% charge left on my battery. So I made sure everything was plugged in and it was all fine, but it still wasn't charging and it just died. Completely dead. No screen except black, no buttons to show it is on or charging. What can I do? Is it my charging corrd? Considering this is m y4th ****** charge cord, that wouldn't suprise me.
Are there any suggestions that I can try to see it I can get it to work or to check my cords"

Undo buttyon just stopped working [greyed out] just as I delete a vital part.
Title says it all really, I've always done this before with no issues, just before I export my work I'll cut out 95% the video/audio, leaving 5% to export at different qualities to compare. Then I just Apple_V (paste) or often I'll just type Apple-z to undo. Thing is I'm having some major issues with Imovie 10 in terms of export options and file sizes so copied my old Imovieto my app folder during this so I can use that in the future. I can't see how that would have effected anything though.

I am almost positive that it is not a hardware problem. The computer was used in a networked office environment for three years. The Superdrive got little use, mostly just to install software and an occasional disk burn to give someone a document.
This AM, I reset the PMU as well as the PRAM and NVRAM to no avail. When I tried to mount a DVD, nothing happened and the disk was spit out again.
The following error was logged:
eric-snyders-imac diskarbitrationd [59]: ClassicPrefHWTest [227]:24587 not responding
Whenever I see "not responding", it suggests some software is hanging up. I guess since it only seems to be a problem with older iMacs, Apple is unlikely to do anything. Very annoying - I'm starting to feel like a PC owner. -

what can I do if my ipod just stopped working? I just purchased it on Aug 23, 2013. I was jogging with it then it just shut down and have not been able to turn it back on.
It could be, since Apple is not liable for user negligence. However, there is no way to definitevely say yes or no on these forums. Apple will run a diagnostic on the device and draw their own conclusions. I would advise not telling them that part though. Best of luck.

you just connect ur bb to the pc and do the backup. It will backup all ur data that you have. Did you already sync your data to your email?if you already done that . Justr restore again all your data on your device.

My computer just stops working sometimes.
Hello, About 2 times a day when i'm using my computer it will just stop working. It will not close anything i have open, but it will not enable me to use them. For example ill be listening to Pandora on my desktop and Google chrome(and explorer) will stop
playing the music and will just sit there. I close the window and try to open it again, and it lights up on the task bar like its about to open, then it just slowly fades and never opens. At this point i go for the restart button and sometimes that does not

WRT54G - wireless just stopped working on all devices
Hi All,
I've had my WRT54G for a couple of years and have my Desktop hard wired (to the router) and 2 laptops and an ipod connecting wirelessly succefully for the past 2 years.Woke up this morning and nothing will connect wirelessly,finding the router is intermitent and when it does it cannot establish a connection with it. I can connect the devices via the network cable directly to the router and all works fine, it's just wireless that has suddenly stopped working.
I have tried 'turning it off and on again" turning WEP off, changing WEP password etc. but nothing seems to work. Im at a loss as to why my entire wireless network/connection has just stopped working?
Any ideas?

Go to Solution.I'm having a similar problem. This past month or so, the router just kicks my wireless computers off the network. Then I can't find the network at all. My work around has been to go into the wireless setting (via my hard-wired computer) and change the wireless channel from 9 to 11 or vice versa. This keeps the network connected for a day or two and then kicks us off again until I change the channel.
I've looked into the solution previously posted of upgrading the Firmware but I'm having a difficult time doing so. I'm on a Mac and the firmware downloads seem to be for PC. The other problem I'm having is that my model is WRT54GS (no version number). Should I assume this is version 1.0? I think so. Anyway, like I said, when I download the firmware for that unit, it shows up as a bin file (WRT54GSv3_4.71.4.001_fw,3.bin). I then expand it and it becomes a cpgz file (WRT54GSv3_4.71.4.001_fw,3.bin.cpgz). And back and forth, over and over again.
How can I upgrade my firmware on my Mac?

My iPod 5th Generation charger just stopped working??
Both my mother and I have iPod 5's and we've only had them maybe 6 months. I've never had any problems with the charger I have which is the white regular one that came with the iPod when I bought it. Today, when I got home from school, I tried to charge my iPod, but it simply wouldn't charge with the wall adapter. I then tried to plug it in to the computer and it still wouldn't work. I then thought it was the charger, so I tried my spare charger, yet it refused to work as well. I also tried it on my mothers iPod and it would not work either. The cables are not broken, I have just used them today. Also we thought it could have been the wall adapter and we used the standard white one by Apple, yet when we plugged it into the wall it said it was not compatible. I don't understand why they would just stop working out of nowhere, when nothing has been done to render them from working.
