X230 Trackpoint buttons do not work at all

Hi,
i am running Debian Wheezy. The trackpoint buttons of my x230 do not work at all.
I also tried an actuall Kanotix live distribution. The buttons do not work with Kanotix also.
Has anybody experienced similar issues, or have an idea, whats wrong?
The trackpoint itself works fine. Unfortunately i have no windows available to test it with that OS.
Is it likely a hardware issue? Would it make sense to remove the keyboard to have a closer look at the buttons?

Hope you are doing well I was wondering if you could give me more information about what you have tried and what version of Debian Wheezy and Kanotix you tried using. Also some general info. about the specs on your computer too would be great! Thanks!

The home button on my iPhone 4 does not work at all. Also, when i plug it in to charge, it does not charge at all, and it doesn't even say that it is connected. What will Apple do about this if i send it off? Will I get a replacement? All answers much appreciated.

Si, pude solucionarlo hace unos dias, al final me arriesgue y compre el "dock connector", un juego de destornilladores para iPhone 4, lo desarme y lo cambie, y al toque empezo a cargar.
No queria esperar semanas para el repuesto de iFixit asi que lo compre en MercadoLibre, estan 160 mangos, y si no te queres arriesgar a desarmarlo y cambiarlo vos, hay algunos que te hacen la instalacion tambien.
Pero primero averigua bien que tengas el mismo problema que yo, o sea el dock connector sirve para lo q describi arriba. Si tenes otro sintoma te recomiendo que investigues porque capaz es otra cosa y terminas gastando un repuesto al pedo.

All of a sudden my back button does not work at all, on any site, and when I start Firefox it does not go to the home page I specified

Just a few days ago, I noticed that when I start Firefox it goes to a blank page, despite the fact that I have several times checked and rechecked under "Options" and my home page is in there. Also the back button has stopped working. I have made sure that inprivate browsing is not enabled, history is maintained etc etc

Buttons/Links not working in ESS standard application

Hi Experts,
We have implemented ESS module in the portal. Here we have created a view via delta link tracer that contains less number of overview content. In this new view we just have links for "leave", Payment and Personal information links only. This was the requirment of the client. Now a few links inside the above mentioned links are not working. For example if i click on "Leave" and then "Quota overview" there comes a screen where an Exit button is there. This exit button is not working at all. The screen remains the same on pressing the button. Similarly inside "paymen", the link payment summary is not responding. The screen remains the same when we click on payment summary. Is it related to configuration of these buttons. We are using the standard ESS application and have not at all modified the same.

Make a Genius Bar reservation for your nearest Apple store to have the Tech person create a repair order for you. Be sure your phone is backed up to iCloud or iTunes prior to going in.

What is wrong with THE iPad Home button. Only a couple of months old. Moderate use at most and the Home button does not work at all. Is this easily sorted out or should the iPad be replaced?

Bring it to a Store. Hardware problems are best sorted out there. Until then use multi-touch-gestures. HOpe this helps.

I have exactly the same settings in Options (in both computers)
for history, these 2 add-ons and all other stuff in Options. The only difference is that on 1 pc sessions can be saved and closed tabs can be reopened, on other main pc they stopped to work. + no any other add-on that does similar things works on this pc.
It is also interesting that I can reopen closed visited sites from History Panel, but not by pressing the Button. For now I only manually bookmark links to a temporary folder.
Recently (some 2 month ago) I pressed x and Firefox closed all tabs without saving them without displaying save & quit pop up.
so I changed 4 settings in about.config
browser.tabs.warn on close true
browser.warn on quit true
browser.warn on restart true
browser.show.quit warning true
but the problem with sessions appeared only 1 week ago.
So I guess the problem is not with the History settings or other settings. Seems that something responsible for button or for storing info about tabs/sessions got corrupted. :(

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The warranty says that Apple may restrict service of an iPhone to the country of sale, and any reliable salesperson will tell you that if you tell them that you plan to use the iPhone in another country. Such service restrictions are common with cellphones and are by no means limited to Apple's phones.
Sorry, but if your iPhone requires service, you will need to send it to someone you know in the US who can get it serviced and then send it back to you.

The iPhone warranty is not international and as you purchased in
Malaysia the warranty is only valid in Malaysia
You could try taking to an iPhone Authorised service provider
in India but there have been many similar posts to yours
and I am not aware of them assisting with an iPhone from
outside India
